Hotel Marlowe, a Kimpton Hotel in Cambridge

Goed hotel, in de kamers aan de straat is het verkeer goed hoorbaar. Meeste kamers liggen aan de patio, die zijn rustiger. Mooie ruime kamer met koeling mogelijkheid. Er is maar een gemakkelijke stoel voor 2 personen.

It's a boutique hotel. It's lovely! And SUPER pet friendly! In fact, when you check in, you'll notice dog beds, bowls, and toys behind the counter. I'd say there's a 50% chance the next guest getting off the elevator is a dog. So, if you've got pet allergies, I'd say away. Although, they do say on their site they've got rooms that have never had a pet, […] so presumably you'd be OK in there. The front desk staff were wicked knowledgeable and supremely helpful. I honestly have nothing negative to say about our stay, went here for Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderful experience. The customer service was outstanding. Will stay again!

Good: Friendly, helpful staff, free bike rental, free wine/hors doevres every evening, very clean and modern. The location isn't bad although I would have maybe slightly preferred downtown. There is a mall next door which came in handy when I needed some jeans. Minor negatives: no hair dryer in the room (they brought us one), not a lot of drawer space, […] and it was a bit pricier than I wanted. Nice hotel, great decor, friendly and helpful staff. Decent price. We would definitely recommend! Right down the street from Boston and close to a lot of great things to do!

I have tried a number of hotels in the area but the Marlowe is still my first choice. The beds are great, lobby is fun and food is truly excellent . Add to that a great staff and a well run chain and you can't beat the Marlowe.

Hotel Marlowe has enough style to give it cachet. Rooms are comfortable and well furnished. The lobby has a wonderful sitting area with a fireplace and the closeness of the mall down the block gives plenty of dining and shopping options. 3rd St gives even more original dining options, including a good tapas restaurant, Kika.

I stayed one night at this hotel. It was for my 21st birthday. When the hotel heard what I was celebrating they did every thing in their power to make it a wonderful experience. This has become my new favorite place. They are very pet friendly and they are right next to a park and canal. Perfect for walking the pup.The service is always incredibly friendly and I don't have a single complaint.

Great place to stay. Soft bed, nice amenities but don't take any snacks or soda from in room bar... Beyond expensive! It is connected to the mall which is excellent. You could essentially stay in the same building and shop. Mall parking... a very cheap 20 bucks overnight. Can't beat it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay...the featherbed was a little to soft for us...but otherwise very comfortable and relaxing. The staff was friendly and accomodating...would not hesitate to stay again!

Clean, well maintained room and hotel. Linens and Pillows were exceptional and I slept great, (Not usual for me). the room was quiet, very little to no noise intrusion, no noise from street. Breakfast was excellent and so was the service. Parking was convenient, albeit a little expensive, but again it is downtown boston.

Rooms were really nice, friendly staff. Very close to the td garden where we saw the celtics play the miami heat. The only downside was the restaurant was way overpriced and parking. The hotel is attached to the galleria mall but overnight parking was expensive.

Reasonably priced for level of quality and maintenance of the property and rooms. Exceptional steak frites at on-site restaurant and very attentive staff. Hotel is not near any prime retail or tourist attraction or convenient to any of Boston's excellent mass transit system.

The hotel overall is fine. Our room doesn't have a bath tub and the shower is set up for special need guest since you just stand on the floor for showering. We requested for King size bed but was not available. However, the front desk provided water and fruits for the lack of accommodation. It was nice for them to do so.

I was in town for business, but decided to come in a day early since I had never been to Boston and wanted to see the city. Very nice hotel without feeling ostentatious. lovely hotel however, the pictures are misleading as a waterfront view is actually a city block away and overlooks the back of several buildings.. An unexpected March snowstorm made transportation a mess but the hotel handled everything beautifully, The hotel restaurant is expensive but very good. The business weekday lunch is excellent and a good value. […] Mall connected to hotel is very handy. The train station is a hike . Right next to the Galleria mall in Cambridge and the Lechmere T stop, it's nicely situated, though a bit far from Kendall Sq. My husband and I stayed one night while in the city for a cooking class. The experience was overall fine, but as both of us have an eye for detail, and this is supposed to be a top notch place-we feel a few marks were missed. The Pros: Quick, pleasant valet and door people Friendly, efficient front desk staff, extremely comfortable beds, spacious clean […] rooms, wine reception. Also, it was very obvious if we had any additional needs they would be quickly met. The Cons: The hotel is "pet friendly" which apparently means the place is swarming with animals -while the ones I saw were well behaved, I do not feel it is appropriate for the front desk to have to run a "doggie day care" or pets to be lingering in common areas of a 4 star hotel. Also, some areas could have seen some more attention to detail- The complementary water in the lobby was empty every time we went through, empty cream/milk pitchers at morning coffee time, during the complementary wine reception the entire lobby was littered with empty wine glasses, paint drips in room, dusty fixtures. Lastly, the restaurant in the hotel has a nice ambiance overall, but when you sit at the bar you are looking at the back side of the cook line and a messy service staging area. I get the "open kitchen" concept but this is not pleasant. A few small fixes and this place could be great! Lees meer
