Boek de slechts een paar euro duurdere executive-suite: zeer ruime kamer op een hoek met prachtig uitzicht over Bangkok (kamers van de 13e t/m 30ste etage). Trap beneden niet in de zogenaamde hotel-taxi, maar wacht of vraag om een "taxi-meter".

In de buurt niet veel restaurants, wel een markt beneden bij hotel. Bij entree overdag wat chaotisch met het verkeer. Wel een Watertaxi stop bij het hotel beneden. Voor eten buiten of de boot nemen of een tuk tuk b.v. Het hotel zit op 11 hoog. Beneden een inloophal, dan met de lift naar 11 hoog en daar is de inschrijfbali met prachtige hal.Je slaapt […] nog hoger dus het uitzicht is erg mooi. Mooi zwembad op 11 hoog met bar en zitjes. Het ontbijt is uitstekend. De kamers zijn iets gedateerd maar voor mij geen probleem. Douche in de badkuip met mat, dus iets lastiger. Overdag kan men met de Watertaxi in 2 stops naar MBK of in drie stops naar Pantip plaza en bij 4e stop loop je naar de Sukumvitroad. Dus dat is makkelijk en kost 1 of 2 keer 20baht. Echt niks en een geweldige ervaring met die watertaxi....! Terug moet je 's avonds wel een kwartier met taxi of tuk tuk terug en dan willen ze nog wel eens iets extra's aan geld vragen..... Dus pas op ! Taxi chauffeurs zijn overal hetzelfde...! Dus over het algemeen een prima hotel alleen iets buiten het centrum richting noord. Lees meer

Hotel is goed, alles goed verzorgt. Ziet er keurig uit, maar je moet altijd eerst naar 11 hoog. Daar is een mooie lobby en zwembad. Het ontbijt en de kamers zijn goed. Je kan snel met de watertaxi naar het centrum, zoals deSukhumvit road, of Pantip plaza en Mbk. De omgeving is matig, veel kraampjes overdag en dux moeilijk te bereiken,echtet dit heeft […] ook weer zijn thailand charme. Veel kleding en buiten eten. Buurt is dus wat rommelig. Wij hebben lekker gegeten buiten en veel ananas gegeten. De tuktuk prijs moet je halveren idem als je een taxi zo neemt. Dus neem een MeterTaxi en zorg dat hij op 35 bath begint. Hotel geboekt als startpunt rondreis Thailand. faciliteiten zijn goed en schone kamers. Locatie is niet echt gunstig t.o.v. bezienswaardigheden en treinstation. Maar kwartier met taxi en je bent overal.

Wij hebben via Hotels.com een kamer geboekt in het Prince Palace Hotel. zij hebben zeer scherpe aanbiedingen. Bij dit hotel heb je zo een heel goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Het is een beetje vergane glorie en de ligging is niet al te gunstig, maar de kamers en het uitgebreide ontbijtbuffet maken dat ruimschoots goed.

A big hotel, big on the Russian market. Breakfast wasn't really nice. Rice and Noodles.. Very close to Siam Square (with taxiboat), but surroundings of hotel itself are not very interesting.

I couldn't stay there because the room they gave me simply did not work. You name it, the phone, lights and A/C did not work and it was over 100 degrees in the room. After being assigned a room in building C, I was told that my luggage would be brought up to my room in 20 minutes. My luggage never made it. The A/C did not work. The lights did not work. The TV did not work. The phone did not work. It was over 100 degrees in the room so I went don't to where I checked in and checked out the same day. I went down stairs […] to see my suitcase sitting where I left it. The guy downstairs said he called my room and got no answer so he left the suitcase there instead of checking to see if there was a problem. I'll never book the Prince Palace ever again. Lees meer

Very big hotel, looks luxury, friendly reception staffs, nice location with 2 taxi boat station will reach famous shopping centre, near to very local night market where you can buy local fruits and foods. Good swimming pool view during night time.

Lobby area looks fine; rooms are below average. Pool area is the nicest part. Enjoyed daily breakfast. Don't waste your money with internet, it is extremely expensive and worse than dial-up, if you are old enough to have used it. Charge for a third person in room makes it almost as expensive as getting two rooms. Of course we did not want our daughter […] alone in a room. Recommended. One bedroom suite was nice, more room to move around. Tour transportation from hotel was way to expensive. Great shopping in market that was in same building. Carpets in hallway need replacing. Excellant breakfast in hotel for 300 baht.

We arrived at the hotel around 8am and were told we had to wait until check-in time that was ok with us but the reception staff were very rude. finally we got the room but the phone didn't work and there was no hot water. we called the house keeping and reception from the phone near the elevators as the room was in the other tower, far from the reception. […] The only response we got was "one moment pls madam" and it went on for 3 hrs. Finally I had to go to the reception to complain, still the staff spoke among themselves in Thai and woudn't tell us what was happening. So our first day was wasted in sorting these matters out. This is a sanctuary amid the din downstairs. If you are coming to Bangkok to get cheap clothing, stay at Prince Palace, enjoy the expensive food that is worth every penny, and spend your day the wholesale clothing store downstairs and a night at Khaosan road. great hotel- great breakfasts.

We arrived in Bangkok very late at night with hotel reservations at Prince Palace. We were pleasantly surprised to walk into the stunning entrance. The reception staff were welcoming, English speaking and efficient. The 4 of us stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, very spacious, comfortable and clean. The front lobby staff are readily available to assist with transportation needs via tuk tuk and taxis. I got a great deal that included their excellent breakfast and 2 bottles of water daily. It's a posh hotel with banquet rooms and restaurants for the rich on the 32nd floor. Hotel room was not well cleaned - there were several small items on floor (wrappers, hair pins, etc.) that indicated lack of vacuuming, mopping in bathroom. It seemed everything had a price attached - internet was expensive in a country where internet abounds; taxis that weren't arranged by the hotel staff (therefore charging twice as much or more) […] were apparently not allowed in entrance drive - many small irritants. A few workers were genuinely warm and friendly, but others were rude when asked questions or for help. The "guest services" who one might associate with a concierge were obviously shills trying to sell certain tours that offered them kickbacks. It is an easy distance to major tourist attractions, but not walking distance as the online description which attracted us claimed. Overall a positive hotel experience. We only stayed one night, so my opinion is solely based on that amount of time. Pros: Checkin/checkout was fairly quick, room was ready when we arrived just after noon, size of room was fantastic, breakfast selection was above average, location was okay and pretty quiet inside our room, pool/bar facilities were nice, […] bathroom shower water pressure and temperature were great and beds were comfortable. Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Some of them went out of their way to accommodate us. The hotel was central to the good and cheap shopping locations. It was easy to get to the main shopping spots - MBK and Platinum Mall, as it was just a short and cheap water taxi ride away.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom suite of this hotel. In all we were 6 adults and one kid. First the good things, the rooms were well kept, spacious with ample furnitures, 3 television sets, beds were plentiful and very comfortable. The view from all the rooms were fantastic. Swimming pools located on the 11th and 12th floor had great views too and very well […] maintained. On the negative side is the location is horrendous. To go anywhere you will first need to negotiate the wholesale bazaar traffic which is basically the precise location where this hotel is situated. Please put aside an additional 30 minutes just to clear the neighborhood just to reach the main roads where traffic flows relatively freely aka Bangkok style albeit. Another negative is the lack of enough tea, coffee, cups and dishes for a 3 bedroom suite meant for 6 adults. We only had enough supply for two. There are absolutely no tea or coffee shops in the walking distance. Though the are a couple of convenience stores nearby. Ditto for any restaurants, none whatsoever in the walking distance. All in all I would recommend this hotel to families or people in tour groups. Lees meer

When we I booked hotel I wanted king size bed in my room but they provided me two single bed. This shows that they are not following what customers want. Also in first day I saw in the room a cockroach in the room.

Hotels.com advertised a superior room with king bed, got there and they said that they do not have a superior room with king bed and then just told us to push the beds together. I have no idea why this hotel has good reviews. Pool area is great but the rest of the hotel is rank and stinks of mildew.

Nice hotel. Lower level floors had a shopping mall (mostly clothing where they set up outside for a few hours, then move into the mall). Little bit further out from the public transportation system (metro) but can take taxi. We stayed on the 27th floor which had a really nice view of the city.

Hotel is ok, the rooms were nice but no king bed which they didn't tell us about when booking in. The room wasn't cleaned, marks all over the mirrors and receipts and papers in the drawers from the last guests... pity as the beds were clean and the rest of the room was fine. Food is good espically the afternoon buffet but it was a bit of a treat and […] a lot more than we would normally spend on food. Breakfast was good and plenty of choice. Paying for wifi and gym was a joke, very disappointed about the gym as no mention of it anywhere that you would have to pay a fee for the full day to use it ...per day....plus when I went over to the gym they basically said they were nothing to do with the hotel. Our phone never worked in our room, asked 4 times for it to be fixed and nothing only smiles and yes yes we'll get it fixed. A real let down. Otherwise it's in an ok location and it is an ok hotel just needs work on looking after their guests. We won't be staying again as there is a lot better value out there with free wifi! Lees meer

I had spent a lot of time in my room as I had a surgery and was unwell for a couple of days. The staff looked after me and I cant be more grateful. They were really fantastic and helpful. I am very pleased with my choice. Thank you so much Prince Palace Hotel!

Good hotel to eat in but we did not get a King or Queen bed as requested on reservations. So the manager had the 2 double beds put together and hope it would work! Carefully when going out on a Tuk-Tuk we driver took us to seafood rest. And paid $122 for bad food! Better to eat at hotel very good food there at night.

Staff at this hotel are really great and help full..The rooms in the B tower need a real make over as this has really old rooms. Staff are really helpful and provide a great service. Only bad thing is that to travel anywhere requires you to Bargain with the Tuk- Tuk and Taxis!!!! Think the Hotel should provide a transport service to the main roads. […] .. Lees meer

Great location for people meeting at the UNCC since it is within walking distance or a quick and cheap taxi or tuk tuk. Since the hotel is inexpensive, you can stay in a suite with plenty of room and still pay less than smaller rooms which might be more modern but will be farther away and not as interesting. Great for clothing shoppers who like wholesale […] deals at the clothing market next door and on the lane. A very bustling and busy area, quite fun. Great breakfast buffet, nice pool and bar area. Restaurants need updating and expanded menus, but the Thai and Japanese food was very good . Internet in the room is expensive. But outstanding staff and service. I was disappointed in my stay. So many tour groups were there, it was a long way to another building to get to the room, and the facilities were crowded as well. The check in service was good, but not so good in the breakfast area. The other surprise was the high charge to use the internet (about $20 per day) even in the public areas, which I thought […] were supposed to be free.
