Het hotel is gewoon goed voor een weekend bruisend Rotterdam. Het hotel staat midden in het centrum en alles is op loopafstand. Winkels, restaurants en uitgaansgelegenheden. De kamers zijn enigszins gedateerd, maar wel schoon en netjes. Bij het ontbijt ontbreekt het aan niets.

Het verblijf was prima. het personeel is uiterst vriendelijk en het hotel ligt midden in de stad. De kamer was echter zeer gedateerd en de kozijnen zijn gebaat bij een likje verf. Ook dubbel glas is geen slechte investering.

Er is niets mis met dit hotel. Al zou het zo hier en daar wat onderhoud gepleegd mogen worden. Behalve de badkamer die leek heel nieuw en was in uitstekende staat! Verder is de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding wat hoog.

We zijn heel tevreden over ons nachtje in dit hotel. Prima prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Goede kamer, geen super-de-luxe maar er ontbrak ook niets. Goed schoon. Aardig personeel. Konden bagage al eerder kwijt. Heerlijk ontbijtbuffet met alles er op en er aan.Zeer centraal gelegen, alle winkels en veel bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand, of via metro (halte […] 200meter verderop) met een enkele halte bereikbaar. Neg.:Wake-up call gevraagd, is men vergeten (schandalig), ontbijt summier, afvoer wasbak liep niet goed door. Pos.:vriendelijk personeel, schone, ruime kamer.

Van de 2 bedden had 1 een slecht matras waarbij de veren in de rug prikken en de wc zag er schoon uit maar stonk naar urine en de waterleidingen zitten los achter de muur waardoor je gebonk hoort iedere keer als er iemand bij de kraan zit (en niet alleen van je eigen kamer). Verder een toplocatie en aardig personeel.

Bij check in was het behoorlijk druk. Het duurde ruim 20 minuten voor we geholpen konden worden. Eenmaal geholpen ging het vlotjes en kregen we zelfs een upgrade naar een suite. De kamers zijn nogal oud en erg klein. Ook de badkamer is minimaal met een douche in het bad. Daar staat tegenover dat de bedden prima liggen en het personeel uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam is. Maar wat voor mij vooral telt is de ligging midden in het centrum. Ik bezocht het Rotterdams filmfestival en dit hotel ligt midden tussen de belangrijkste […] locaties. Een minpunt is dat je hier nog steeds voor Wifi op je kamer moet betalen en flink ook. In mijn ogen zouden hotels dat gewoon gratis moeten aanbieden. Lees meer

Het hotel is erg over de tijd. De kamer is netjes en het bed is prima. In het Hotel is niet de moeite genomen om dubbel glas te installeren waardoor het lijkt alsof de straat in je hotel kamer rijdt. Ik ben al meerdere malen in een NH hotel geweest maar toch moest ik me weer inschrijven. In plaats dat ze even de moeite nemen om de reservering zelf in […] te voeren. Service staff was very friendly, even though she was busy checking in a whole group of arrivals. We ended up with a room that was not what we ordered (two double beds instead of a Queen bed) however they resolved this right away for us and we got a free upgrade because they did not have a similar room available of our type. So thumbs up for that. Great […] and awesome location, plenty of eating and drinking establishments surrounding the era. Also a movie theater and regular theater within 3 minutes walking. Shopping center right around the corner and for those interested also plenty of clubs open in the weekends to party. Great quality room, the executive rooms (from the brief glimpse) are a bit small but that is customary in Dutch Hotels as they generally don't have big rooms. Great service & Staff, really good price for what you get, conformable beds en nice bathroom. Also loved the late check out time we got on a Sunday check out! Loved this hotel,3 minutes away from main shopping area Room is clean, big with comfy bed, staffs are friendly and very helpful. They also provide free Wi-Fi. I'll definitely use this hotel again!!!

Only stayed one night from the ferry but had a huge room.Walking distance from bus station but got a taxi back as we were shattered after lots of Christmas shopping! Lovely underfloor heating in bathroom. No view but we only wanted some quiet and comfortable beds, which is what we got! Wi-fi in room good. Breakfast fine...plenty of choice. Perfect location for attending events in the WTC building (just across the street). Free wireless is great! But asking daily for a login & password was a bit annoying. Connection worked for 24 hours, and then I had to go to reception for a new print-out. They could not generate 5 passwords for my 5-day stay.

This hotel is an ideal location for Rotterdam centre, the mass of shops are just a minute away. We stayed in an executive room which was nicely decorated but a touch on the small side. The bathroom and toilet are separate which is a little annoying. The rest of the hotel is slightly old fashioned style but still well kept and clean. From an American's viewpoint, I would like to have a shower, or at least a shower I would consider functional. The shower in my room was in the middle of the side of a tub, and there was no shower curtain. After a long day of work, I do enjoy a nice shower. Hotel itself was nice. Room was furnished like it came out of an IKEA. Very minimalistic. Small […] TV that was also the alarm clock. I had a hard time getting it to work, so I had to set up a wake up call. I couldn't get the A/C to turn off, but I have heard I was fortunate just to have an A/C period. I ended up turning the heat on full blast and letting them fight it out. Internet was like 9EU a day. I had problems getting it to work and it was very slow. About 700k down. The staff is top notch. I can't understate how nice they were or generous. I was able to check in early, much earlier than the norm, for zero extra cost. Its posted that you should have to pay 10EU for each hour you want to check in earlier than 3PM. I know I could have checked out late probably in the same manner. Hotel is in the heart of Rotterdam shopping. There is a McDonald's across the street, if you need a quick meal. You are close to everything including the Rotterdam Central train station (10 min walk), Metro (5 min walk), and Cool District shopping (2 min walk). The location of the hotel was perfect, very handy for shopping and lots of cafe's nearby for breakfast. The rooms was somewhat dated, but clean and the bed very comfortable. The biggest minus is the fact that there is no air conditioning in the rooms, and with it being one of the hottest days of the summer, even leaving the window open overnight did […] little to lower the temperature.... sweltering! (and I like heat!) Staff were friendly overall, but seemed somewhat overwhelmed at busy times with long waiting times at the front desk. However, they did their best to allow us to have an early check in which we really appreciated as we had a wedding to attend and wanted to get ready in our rooms. The hotel room was very old and dark. It lookded like it had over 100-year-old history. I did not sleep well at night. The hotel staffs were very cold and indifferent. When my friend and me, with luggages, waited for the elevator in the morning to check out, there was a group of staff next to us. They did not smile at us, did not look at us, did not […] say anyting to us. They just took the elevator and then left, leaving us with luggages waiting for next elevator. No air-con in the room, which when it was the hottest weekend of the year, made sleeping comfortably impossible. No soap or shower gel in the bathroom, had to request, which took an age to arrive.

The location was perfect for a stopover after our cruise before catching the train. When we checked out, we were advised the internet was free with a coupon from the front desk. We asked about internet access when we checked in and were advised it was available, but were not offered a coupon. We enjoyed our stay overall. The service at the main desk and the bar was great! As the hotel is undergoing renovations, some rooms do not have air-conditioning which would have been nice to have. The overall daily cleaning of the room was great. We would suggest vacuuming under the beds more often. Also, the main hallway by the elevator had a huge […] stain on the rug, as we stayed 13 days in the hotel, you did not clean the stain until a day before we left. I must say the NH is one of the best hotels I have stayed in for a long time. I arrived at 10:Oclock in the Morning was allowed to check in as soon as My room was cleaned.Was upgraded to a small Suite without asking.Free Snacks and Music during the Jazz Festival Nights.I would gladly give this stay all 10,S instead of 5,S.

Beware of local state tax that is applied to each night of your stay. You will not be given prior warning of this at check-in. Double bed arrangement comprises two beds shoved together but not fixed to each other so if there are two of you one will risk falling in between! Bar had a great atmosphere and live music for the Jazz Festival.

The hotel is perfectly located and the staff is wonderful. We had a problem because the room was completely dirty, to the point that we all got alergies for the amount of dust in the room. Although we were very angry about finding these conditions in a 4 star hotel the manager was very comprehensive and tried to compensate us. Perfect location, easy walk from the station, large supermarket 2 minutes walk away with good salads, sandwiches etc to eat in the room , McDonalds across the road.
