Americas Best Value Inn in Marion

We were in town for the Btistol, TN Nascar race. We enjoyed our stay at the Magnuson very much. The room was very clean and the shower had great water pressure. The location of the motel was very convienent for us to catch I-81 south to Bristol, TN. We plan on going to this same race again next year and we will definitly be calling the Magnuson for […] reservations again for race weekend. Keep up the good work! Lees meer

This is an off ramp hotel, and should be thought of with those expectations. The beds were not the sort that I would like to have at home, but fine for one night. Front office staff was very nice and helpful.

We needed a room to stay for one right off Rte. 81 and this hotel was perfect! The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff very friendly and accomodating. Highly recommended!

We only needed a stopover in a long road trip. But this hotel exceeded our expectations. If you are near Marion, it's worthwhile to stay at the Magnuson.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel - just stayed for one night - clean room, many amenities - the desk clerk was very helpful and there was a nice restaurant there - the restaurant hosts Bluegrass gospel music on Tuesday nights.

The room was very big and super clean. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was reasonably priced. The only think that would have made it perfect would be a microvave and a small fridge.

Our stay started off a bit rough but overall we were happy with this lodging choice. My friend and I arrived late at night and the reception/registration lobby was locked (not a problem in itself). However, ringing the bell several times over the course of 10 or so minutes did not yield anyone to check in. Someone else then arrived to check in, who […] called and got an answer, then we were let in. Otherwise though, this was a nice place to stay and overall a positive experience. Our room was pleasant, clean, and very spacious! The A/C was easy to control. There was a hairdryer, plenty of soaps, coffee, an alarm clock, and other amenities. We were exhausted and didn't make it to breakfast, which on the Friday morning we were there was offered 6-9 a.m. I should mention that this definitely is a motel and not a hotel (given the nature of the place and its set-up with the outdoor hallways and no elevators). Hotel musty smelling lobby, Receptionist in the eveing not very friendly. Ok continental breakfast, room ok, bugs could come into room from outside because door needs to be adjusted to keep bugs from coming in the bottom. Pool green, needs to be cleaned, wanted to swim but pool closed the entire time.

When we arrived there was no refrigerator and as I take a daily shot I was a little upset. I said that as long as they had ice I could keep a small cooler in our room ...first two days were fine. The hotel ran out of ice...ice machine ws broken. Room service would remove our towels and wshcloths and forget to replace with clean ones. This happened two […] days in a row. We came back to our room around midnight to find our towels and washcloths missing and no clean ones....the lady at the desk couldn't help so their solution was to wake us at 7:15 am to give us towels so that we could take a shower. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. We were there for a big family get together and I have told everyone of our experience. Lees meer

Hotel was exactly what was advertised. Clean, convenient and a great value. Staff was very friendly and helpful at check-in.
