Prettig hotel, gratis ontbijt en WiFi, vriendelijk personeel, op redelijke afstand van Monterey Bay waar we de walvistocht zeer kunnen aanraden!

centrale airco functioneerde niet (besparingen?)en we moesten gebruik maken van mobiele luidruchtige airco aan het raam. geen Hyatt standard kamer.

Goede prijs kwalieit. Kamers netjes en schoon, hotel eigenaar was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Simpel maar goed ontbijt. Buitenkant zag er niet zo mooi uit, maar kamer was goed en netjes.

Ligging.
Best Western Carmel's Town House Lodge bevindt zich in het centrum van Carmel, dicht bij Carmel Plaza, Carmel Beach en Golfbaan Pebble Beach. In de buurt liggen ook Missie Carmel en Carmel Mission Basilica.
Accommodatievoorzieningen.
In openbare ruimtes wordt een gratis snelle internetverbinding (via kabel) aangeboden. De accommodatie beschikt over een een businesscentrum. Gasten krijgen gratis ontbijt. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad, een conciërgebalie en meertalig personeel. Parkeren op locatie is gratis. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie.
Hotelkamers.
Bij Best Western Carmel's Town House Lodge zijn kamers voorzien van onder andere een (laptop)kluis en een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker. Een snelle internetverbinding (via kabel) is gratis beschikbaar. Elke televisie heeft premiumkanalen via de kabel. Wonderful older ocean front hotel - with cozy fireplace-2-rm suite with fireplace - ocean view - spa robes - full hot breakfast - pool -friendly staff. Wonderful stay!

This place is great! Walking distance to the main street, nice room, very clean, great staff . We really loved the breakfast (you can make you own waffles).

Okay, clean and well furnished. Very Poor lighting. Closet-sized breakfast room - forget it. We were lucky to get a room on 2nd floor with nice view of ocean. Ask for extra blanket.

You stay in Carmel its because it's a great town to walk, shop, look at the ocean, quaint buildings, beautiful houses, art galleries, boutiques, coffee shops, walk on the beach and view Pebble Beach golf course. "The Shower Head"
The water pressure was so weak on the shower head that I had to use the near by basin to rinse my self completely. For the price I paid for this room the shower head should have produced adequate pressure to rinse the soap off of my body. I am dissatisfied and angry that I had such an uncomfortable shower. Also, we ran out of items at the continental […] breakfast, but there was no one around to replenish the supply. Finally after about ten minutes someone appeared with necessary items. Comfortable, well located, relatively cheap for the area
The location was very convenient to walking around town which I did on a daily basis. The room was comfortable but on the small side. Internet access was a plus. The area for breakfast was too small but you could bring breakfast to your room. Overall I was very satisfied for the price.
Nice clean place and proximity to town was awesome. Great value for the location. I would suggest starting the morning coffee and light eating earlier than 8:00. People heading out for an early walk or a round of golf will be out of luck. I would think 7:30 would be the latest it should open. Rooms modern, clean and pleasant.

If you are looking for a place to simply rest your head and then go - this is perfect. The motel complex is ageing, but the room was very clean, comfortable modernised bed and spacious. Breakfast however was complicated and not a relaxed experience. It is held in the motel front foyer and is unacceptably cramped to the point where getting a hot cup […] of tea can be dangerous. The reception foyer is not designed to accommodate breakfast guests and I would question the OH&S of doing this. It certainly detracted the guest experience. The offerings are basic cereals pastries and usual beverages - so even though breakfast may be included in the room tariff, the experience of trying to get in the during the morning rush, became more a commando operation and more hassle than it was worth. Carmel By the Sea is a quaint seaside village, full of pinetrees, overpriced souvenirs and banal chocolate-box artworks. A pretty place to walk around aimlessly on a sunny afternoon. Not happy with paying $10 to drive around 17 Mile Road and 'gated community' feel of the nearby Pebble Beach golf course, made the location a wee bit sterile, but a beautiful coastline nonetheless. "Good with qualifications"
Pros: Excellent location downtown, free parking, pool, renovated rooms Cons: Loathe having the sink in the bedroom! Also, note this is free Net access but WIRED. Impossible to link up two laptops at the same time. With the pool it can be a little noisy in the daytime if your room is in the back.

We spent one night at Carmel's Town house lodge and were impressed with the close location to downtown and the many restaurants that we found within walking distance. Upon checkout the manager allowed us to leave our car parked in the lot while we spent the entire day exploring the area and saving us the weekend downtown parking hassle. If you'd like to have a nice and relaxing weekend in Carmel, this is your perfect place to stay. This hotel is located in the center of Carmel, just two blocks from the main street with lots of restaurants, galleries and cafes.

The hotel was perfect for our needs. Pros: Friendly service, fluffy towels, comfy pillows, mini fridge, easy upgrades, very clean, the maids were helpful, quiet, great location. Cons: Small bathroom (but they made the most of it), needs a warm comforter (but did provide extra blanket). All in all, very happy with everything and will stay again!

Excellent location. The room we had requested and reserved was not available. We got what was supposed to be a "superior room" at the same price but we wanted a king size bed, not two double beds. "Good but not Great"
The hotel was quite expensive for what it was but maybe that is the nature of it's location, it is within a block of all the shops and restaurants in the quaint, little town of Carmel. From the outside the hotel looks like a motor hotel, slightly run down. The rooms have been remodeled and were quite comfortable. My big complaint with my stay was that […] I had reserved a room with two queens but when I arrived it was not available. They 'upgraded' me to a room with a king and a queen sofa bed, however, the sofa bed was in actuality a twin, so two of us were incredibly uncomfortable in this very expensive room. Prior to my stay, I wasn't really expecting much since this hotel just has a 2-star rating. Rate was a bit pricey, but understandable for the reason it's in the heart of Carmel, at the very least. Location is just a stone's throw away from the downtown -- which is a BIG plus for me. Staff was very friendly. Typical continental breakfast. Beds and pillows […] can compete with 3-4 star hotels. "A decent night stay"
Hotel was upgraded like it mentioned, which makes it nice. parking and rooms are tight. staff is a little hard to understand (foriegn). Price was a little high, but overall a good place to spend the night.

We have been staying at this motel for 20+ years. It has always been very good but now it is excellent. The rooms have been recently remodeled with new furniture, etc. It is located only 2 blocks from the heart of Carmel. The price is very reasonable for the quality.

El hotel esta bien situado pero no esta cerca de la playa, es muy lindo y las instalaciones estan en muy buen estado, el personal es amable, el desayuno es bueno.

O quarto é apertado para família com 2 filhos, mas as camas eram bem confortáveis. . Café da manhã incluído muito bom, mas o refeitório tem apenas 3 mesas. Localização muito boa.

O hotel fica super bem localizado , por fora a gente nem da nada por ele , mas o quarto foi uma agradavel surpresa , pq 'e muito bonitinho ! tive uma vista privilegiada, e o atendente e muito simpatico . A cidade e apaixonante , e o hotel so contribuiu para nossa satisfacao , voltaria com certeza !

Since Carmel is a small town, location is perfect. The room was spacious and nicely furnished. Despite there was only one attendant at the hotel, we had assistance every time we needed. Didn´t try breakfast though. We had it at the corner on the back street of the hotel. Really good choice.
"Like having breakfast in a compact"
Everything ok, but the reception\breakfast room has about 6 seats. Families waiting for breakfast, crowded space. But the automatic waffle machine was great... :-)
