Room size is little smaller than expected but was comfortable.

we arrived what we thought was with other travelers in the late evening and was given a room overlooking the pool and a jacuzzi b/tub sounded nice 'Got to the room to find hair stuck to the head board and red hair color all over the jacuzzi tub and surrounding floor.Asked housekeeping to bring extra pillows and although friendly looked a little sketch.Was […] awoke at eleven by big barking dogs thats when i noticed xmas stickers on some of the windows ......odd. At 2:00 a.m. was woke up by some "lady" beating on our door "looking" for someone,after letting her know we didnt need "anything" she continued to smoke and talk loudly outside our door until 3:00 a.m. After seeing housekeeping/security , I knew i wouldnt be calling them. just glad the car wasnt broke into and we we're leaving! Nice hotel to stay at for a convention in Concord, however the internet service was down for 30 hours which delayed my work and made it unable to complete tasks that needed to be completed. I would stay at the hotel again given the internet service is fixed.

It was close to where we needed to be the next day, although it's not downtown if that's where you want to stay. The room and service was fine. Fun Mexican restaurant across the street. I would definietly stay here again on a visit.

During my 5 day stay the fridge didn't work, and maintenance couldn't fix it. The toilet seat was practically falling off the toilet but was never fixed. The AC was broken and never fixed. The wireless internet didn't work. I complained repeatedly to the front desk but they didn't seem to care and nothing was done to fix these issues. And they would […] not move me to a different room. I am usually easy to please, but I had several disappointments with this hotel. First, I booked it over others because of the sauna and spa...these were both out of order. Second, there was no water for 3 hours upon our arrival, and when it turned back on, it made an awful racket. Third, there were burn holes in our comforter and stains on the drapes. […] Fourth, I found a pair of women's panties hanging on the back of the bathroom door on the hook that obviously no maid ever checked behind....it was gross! The area was decent, there were restaurants and a few drug and grocery stores nearby, but I will definitely spend more money in the future to stay at a hotel with working amenities and clean, not run down, rooms. Three miles from Sleeptrain Pavilion, close to restaurants and services, good breakfast (Belgium waffles, hard boiled eggs, cereal, muffins, etc.), room was comfortable. Negatives: toilet seat almost falling off, plate behind shower faucet falling off. For one night and for convenience to the Pavilion, this is fine.

Stayed overnight during a heat spell. AC was too weak to keep the room cool, so didn't get a good night's sleep. Luggage was stolen when checking out. Police are investigating.

We didn't get one night's sleep, with all of the comings, goings and partying all through the night. The bathroom was dirty and also the carpeting. We won't stay there again!

The surrounding area is mostly apartments and restaurants. It's located in the middle of nowhere - not close to anything worthwhile. We stayed there because my sister lives in Walnut Creek which is about 7 miles away and hotels there are $30-$40 higher. When we first walked into our ground-floor room, it reeked of cigarette smoke. We asked for another […] room and they were very accomodating but did say, "But they're all non-smoking rooms." ? We get that, the people before us apparently didn't. The room on the second foor smelled nothing like smoke and was clean. We slept with the fan/AC on all night to drowned out any noises. There was some bumpin' music going by at one point, and a siren later in the night, otherwise the fan did the trick. We went to get the complimentary breakfast at 8:45 on Sunday morning and they were wiped out. Literally. The front office was packed with people, I mean PACKED, and there were a couple of pieces of bread, a waffle machine that ran out of batter (per the worker), biscuits and gravy (which were so-so) and cereal. All out of pastries, bagels, english muffins, and anything else they served. So, that was a bummer. Would we stay there again? No. I'm thinking paying that extra $30 would be worth it to stay in Walnut Creek. Lees meer

The staff was very helpful and kind. We had a great stay, it was quite and comfortable. The breakfast that was served was great, I was happy to find out it was not just coffee and donuts, there was alot to choose from. Thank you for everything,

Exceptional service. We arrived before the check in time from out of state and the staff allowed us to check in early. This is fantastic when you've been on the road and just want to get settled in. We enjoyed the friendliness of all staff members. We enjoyed the free hot/cold breakfast each morning. The rooms were clean as were the grounds. I was worried […] about the outside corridors but was given a room in the inner court near the pool which is totally enclosed. Super safe and comfortable! I was amazed to see animals there with another guest and am glad to know people can travel with their pets. The enclosed court area with pool and grass can be used for the animals to run around. We stayed here 2 nights out of a 10 day road trip across CA. It was by far the best and our most comfortable hotel. Thank you Concord staff. Especially the front desk! Top notch service! Lees meer

We got a room at a good price and the pool was OK. That is also the only positive thing there is to say about Concord Best Western Plus Heritage Inn. Breakfast is served in the lobby :-( which is not enough space. The selection is really bad. The high speed internet has a very weak signal. This hotel was clean, and would have been a great find except for the neighborhood. Days are fine, but nights resulted in a few questionable persons walking the streets. All went well, but don't think I will stay there again. Too bad, because the accomodations were decent for the price.

We visted family in Concord. I like to stay at BWs for the Rewards. My brother had always said that the Concord BW was not very good and reading the older reviews I was concerned to stay there but I noted in the comments that BW had been doing renovations. We decided to take the chance. from a value standpoint, this BW is hard to beat. Clean neat rooms, good location, continental breakfast included.

This is a very clean remodeled older hotel. The front desk clerk was extremely polite and helpful. She seemed happy to see me. The only reason I marked cleanliness down was because there was a chocolate chip on our bed. Otherwise, the room was very clean and up to date. We stayed there before taking BART into the City. Having a security guard on the parking lot helped me to relax and sleep during the night. I did not care for the activities on the lot, car repairs and food for sale. It was too busy for me. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was fine. Convenient to Bart station (short bus ride). Not much but fast food in area, but Ravioli's restaurant was very good.

The room was large and clean. There was a short in the lamp near the bed, which made me a little nervous. The maintenance man did come and remove the bulb, but the fixing would have to wait. Wonderful stay except that guest laundry dryer was not working so had to go out to do laundry. Needed tissues and they said that they were awaiting order to arrive and 3 days later we were still without tissues. I arrived late so the parking was pretty full at this hotel (at 10:00pm), however, you can't tell by the front desk/lobby that the room is going to look pretty good. I expected a Motel 6 style but it appears that they've recently refurbished the rooms. There was even a mini fridge and microwave. Noise level was not too bad considering I was on the ground floor. Peet's and Starbuck's is down the street as well as several good casual restaurants when you decide to leave. This place is close to the Concord Pav so I will be back to stay for a concert. I have stayed at this hotel a total of 27 nights since Thanksgiving 2010 for work reasons. 1 to 4 nights each time. Since I have to stay overnight frequently I decided to check the area hotels from Walnut Creek to Concord and the surrounding area within 10 miles. Compared to other hotels listed in this price range (of which I have stayed at quite a […] few) this one definitely is priced well and delivers a good value. For the price, this hotel meets all my needs. As others have said, it may be @ 15 minutes from the freeway but that's about the only draw back. I just need to be less than 30 minutes from my work. The rooms are in fine shape, the beds, either 2 queens or a king, have all been comfortable with more than enough pillows and blankets. The heaters work, some times too well. I end up bring my own pillow since I'm here so often, it's my little bit of home. The wi-fi works fine, although there have been days where it was not available at all. The breakfast issue is over: they have cereal, coffee, waffles and juice (I think) available from 6 - 9 AM. The only downside is the fire station across the street so I ask for a room facing the courtyard and on the 2nd floor. There has been the occasional loud person but they all seem to knock off early. I do see many contractors from out of the area who stay while on a job. Personally I wouldn't leave any valuables in my car, but, that's a given in any town anywhere. Showers are hot, hot, hot!! Be careful! Good size mini fridge and MW, in room coffee, iron and board, hair dryer. Daily room service. Overall, a real bargain for the price. Can't wait for summer to use the pool. I book my stay on the Best Western web site so I get miles and increase my loyalty status. You get a great price booking online for 2 or more nights. The savings on hotels.com is basically the same so I decided to get the miles instead of the discount and save my "free nights" for the more high end stays (Hawaii, Florida, etc.) Since I live i Lees meer

I have stayed at this hotel several times before. The kitchen was under remodel until this time. They have an adequate continental breakfast. Nothing spectacular. I had to change rooms for 3 reasons: 1. There was no sound on half the tv channels. 2. Sounded like a party going on next door late. 3. This was the worst thing. The door would not close all […] the way without slamming it. The new room was ok except for the gap under the door that let cold air in. I had the heat cranked up to 83 to compensate. All in all not a bad place for the price. Well off the 680 so freeway access isn't the best. Plenty of dining options within walking distance. Room was clean, though the walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors even at normal speaking volume. Still no hot breakfast due to remodeling. I called in the morning (could not request it at check in :-( ) and the latest I could have was 1 PM, seriously! My class ended at 1 so had to rush to get ready to pack up the car. Then they are remodeling so had to deliver breakfast to my room. I ordered cereal, milk and juice for a 7:30 delivery. It arrived at 7:45 and no spoon so I could eat the […] cereal. :-( When I checked out I told the desk clerk and she said yes they forgot them, not even I am sorry.
