BEST WESTERN CARSON STATION in Carson City

Lady on reception extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for her. We found the same friendly and helpful staff in the hotel restaurant with the waiter giving us lots of useful information about places to visit in the local area.

Nice place to stop, lobby of course smelled like smoke as it was where the casino is, but the rooms we had were non-smoking and they did not smell bad at all. The atmosphere was relaxed and the people were very friendly.

For the price its the best bargain in town. It was a great room, good food and good service. However the slots were very very tight ant we were forced to gamble elsewhere.

The bed was comfortable but the sound proofing of the room is poor. Could hear every person that walked down the hall clearly and the people in the next room like they were in my room. Our stay was nothing memorable outside of the fact that we would not have stayed here had we known that the bathroom was soooo small. And to have even the sink in with the toilet made things rather difficult at times. That being said the room was comfortable and clean. Hotel was near businesses we visited. The room was clean, only wish the toilet or sink were separated from bath/shower.

I understand the Best Western Carson Station has recently updated their rooms. I would say the updating is superficial - new furniture but no attempt to update the bathroom which had a shower head that was painful to stand under. The pillows were so overstuffed with cotton batting; it was like sleeping on a rock. I appreciate the new filtration system […] in their casino (which you have to pass through to get to your room). This casino hotel was not overwhelmingly smoky and the smoke never reached as far as our room. If you knew to ask for it, you got a really good price on breakfast (our price was not listed in the menu, but we had seen a sign in our room). We were very pleased with our accomodations and very friendly staff during our recent stay and would definitely recommend the Best Western Carson Station Hotel and Casino to our friends and family. It's central location was great and within walking distance to many attractions and good eating establishments.

To ruin an otherwise decent stay at a decent hotel, the air conditioner was malfunctioning making us alternate from shivering to sweating all night. If they would make sure all the appliances were functioning properly, I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Carson City on a budget.

We visit the Carson area regularly. This place is so much better since the remodel. Although it wasn't a full remodel the did a great job at improving this place. The biggest thing I noticed was the quality of the air. This place use to overwhelm me with the smoke smell. I hardly noticed it unless I was sitting or walking by someone who was smoking. We […] staying in a king size room. It was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The pillow was a little too puffy for my liking but I will take that over a super flat pillow any day. Gaming is all video poker and slots. I hope they bring back some of the table games. We didn't dine at any of the cafe's on site but they did offer a nice holiday meal. Check in was extremely slow. The front staff did not seem to take much care that I was even there. The casino is smoky and dated. Hallways are also dated, elevators are questionable. Beds are comfortable and the room was clean. The much vaunted balcony suite I was given overlooked the rooftop mechanicals for the casino.

We recentley stayed one night for travel reasons and was very surprised now nice the renovations were. When we first arrived we didn't notice any cigeratte smoke oders coming from the casino area and the rooms are now very fresh and clean . The staff informed us they had a new filtration system installed which produces clean air. The breakfast at the […] restraunt was nice and the clerks and staff are very helpfull. Recent overnight stay was really nice. Hotel room was convenient and clean. Had a comfortable bed. Would reccomend to anyone going to Carson City. Have a nice resteraunt inside of casino so we didnt have to leave for anything.

Hotel was very nice. Upgraded throughout. Very nice and efficient staff. 42 inch flat screen TVs in the rooms, mounted on the wall. New mattresses and bedding. Restuarant was very good! I would stay there again with no problem.

It is worth the gamble to choose this hotel for the cost. The rooms were clean and spacious with well appointed amenities. The convenience of the restaurant was great and plentiful variety of machines to play. Will look forward to next visit. It was good fun.

I spent one night at the BW Carson Station. It's a basic, no frills hotel. I found the staff to be friendly and well meaning. The room was basic and clean., but isn't up to date. The TV was your basic color set from the 1990s. Although the hotel advertises free high speed internet, there is no port in the room. You have to call the front desk, and they […] give you a modem you need to plug into the outlet and your computer. Again, 1990s tech. I still couldn't connect as the modem was picking up the wireless signal from the motel a block away and was too weak. I drove about a mile to the Courtyard and used the wireless network in their lobby. On the plus side, I found the hotel to be quiet although there is a casino on the premises. As I said, the hotel is no frills, however, you do get a clean room at a reasonable rate and I had a good night sleep. I prefer the Hampton, Courtyard and Holiday Inn Express in Carson City, but I saved a few dollars while passing through on my way back home to California. Lees meer

An average room that was an average price. Clean enough, good TV & ammeneties, bed firm & wiggles a lot, not too crazy about old blankets, lumpy pillows & covers that didn't look too clean, but front desk staff very friendly & helpful with questions that I had. Nothing seriously wrong or realy good either.

I am a smoker and this place doesn't treat you as being a blight to society. Does not shove you in a corner away from the world. Even though I am a smoker I like a clean fresh smelling room and that is what I got. This place is great.

Stayed at the hotel over the Hot August Nights opening weekend, room overlooked the main street and we were able to sit outside to enjoy the cars on the street.
