We were very unhappy with the hotel. We found bugs in the room and did not feel safe during our stay. We left a day early even though we had booked the hotel for 2 nights.

No hot water. Good price tho.

The hotel was well located. The room left alot to be desired. The sofa was broken down and could not be set on to watch the tv and the bathroom sink dripped and could not be completely shut off.

I was disappointed with the lag time that it took for my hotels.com reservation to drop into the computer system at this hotel near World's of Fun in Kansas City.

Guest services were very accommodating. Microwave and fridge were pleasant surprise, especially when leftovers had to be supper due to time. Location of this place (Parvin Rd and I-435) was phenomenal to drive in/out/around KC area, if you don't mind a few extra miles. Think "launch pad" and this place does the trick.

This hotel is the least expensive in the area which brings the problems of some of the clientele which seek such and weeklys. Random problems with guests not behaving properly staying here will at some point be an issue.

Our 'non smoking' rooms wreaked of smoke bad! The towels did not look clean so we opted for using our t shirts instead. The beds leave a lot to be desired. You could litterally see the beds bowing in the middles. The lot was messy with quite a bit of trash! I guess the saying is true. You get what you pay for. On 2nd of 3 days at this hotel, hot water heater went out and wasn't fixed for the duration of my stay. Couch had HUGE black stain on it and housekeeping missed a crusty washcloth hanging from shower rod from previous guest. HORRIBLE HOTEL!!!

lots of noise due to truck traffic. difficult to get to and did not feel secure.

The motel was priced right for what ya got but that need some serious maintenance work like the electric outlet behind the bed was not only exsposed and loose with no wall plate so ya its a fire waiting to happen found a dirty towel. Behind the be as well but over Tue Price was Wright. So I'd stay again

i had a room with 2 queen beds which one was broken and you could not sleep on it . The fridge did not work and the ice machine was a mile away from room

The hotel is one of those that has a permanent funk in the carpet as it's OLD and frankly just needs to be replaced. I had a in room fridge that did not work. I also didn't risk sleeping in the bed but rather bought a new sleeping bag and slept in that as I didn't want to risk any bedbugs. Stayed here for a couple of days and would not stay again. Hotel staff is very lackadaisical and does not communicate with guests. Bed was never made nor was garbage emptied. Carpet cleaners came in to clean carpet and left carpet soaked while I was out on business.

The room was NOT clean. I was rather grossed out. As I was getting ready in the morning a bug fell out of the ceiling. One room was newly decorated but it looked like carpet by the wall hadn't been vacuumed in years. The shower was in bad repair too!

Very convenient location. The stairs were steep and did not feel very structurally sound. They were a little flimsy. Rooms could be better with a thermostat. Was cold when I walked in, turned heat on, had to leave and came back to a boiling room. After I figured out the heater system, it worked a little better but doesn't keep the room consistent.

I was there a week and and to fight with the front office to keep a couple of guest from parking their 18-wheelers RIGHT in front of the rooms---therefore starting their rumbling engines at 4:00 AM to warm them up. The office "didn't know" who they belonged to so it was up to me to watch for when they returned and point them out. Very unprofessional. […] I've written a letter to the owner. This was a great place to stay quiet, affordable for what we needed

I have stayed at bargain hotels before but this one was just terrible. The bathroom was FILTHY! I can't even describe how gross it was. The shower/bathtub had yellow and brown stains in it and the toilet seat was broken. The room itself was awful as well, one of the beds was broken and not all the tv channels came in. The rooms are not sound proofed […] well and we could hear everything the surrounding rooms were doing. It was a bit noisy - the motel was very full due to the budget rates, and not many restaurants close by, but the room was nice and clean, and in a convenient location.

Ok if you are only looking for a place to take a shower and sleep. Cable was out, front desk help was rude, very noisy all night long. We wont be staying again.

I would defintely recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip to Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun. Right across the street from the parks & well lit parking lot. Right next to nice c-store and Wendys. Some rooms have been updated. Not a 5-star hotel, but clean and staff was very friendly. Great if you need are trying to plan a trip on a budget.

I was in the middle of my shower, soap from head to toe, and my shower turned FREEZING cold!!! After waiting for the water to warm back up for about 10 minutes, (still entirely soapy) finally had my boyfriend call the front desk and they were "working on it". 20 minutes later and hypothermia setting in, the water became cold, but tolerable enough to […] rinse off. Boooo, Hisssss!!!! Won't stay there again. It was also very dumpy, but we were willing to look past all of that due to the price. Bed was entirely uncomfortable, blankets were scratchy, and there were only 9 channels on their "cable", three of which we found by changing the channels manually, tried to reprogram the TV, but that was blocked (maybe the other three channels are for deluxe rooms) Either way, we were very unsatisfied, next time I will spend the extra $30 nightly to stay at a better place!!! The staff was nice but the room was VERY dirty. The sheets on the bed had been changed we saw the staff do that. But nothing else in the room was cleaned. The counters and table had coffee spilled on them and the tiolet was very nasty. The next morning we went to the FREE breakfast at 8 am. There was no food left. No batter for the waffles, biscuits […] and gravy was gone. Only things left was cold cereal and a few muffins. No staff ever came in to check the food area while we were there. Lees meer

Clean comfortable room. This was our second stay In a month and we are going back in a week. Very affordable and blocks from Worlds of Fun. Housekeeping staff very accommodating. Older building and could use some work.

It was clean and the employees were friendly but it was noisy where my room was and I didn't get much sleep.

We were just staying one night in KC. Didn't have a lot of money to spend. It was the first motel I ever said a quick prayer at the door that the room would be ok. Parts of the outside of the hotel were not in good condition. The picture on the internet must have been taken on a beautiful sunshiny day. The carpet in the room was so in need of cleaning. […] The light above the sink/make up area was very dim. I was shocked to see marble floors in the bathroom. The shower was nice then I looked up and saw the spicket the shower head was on. The hotel just really needs a renovation. Most of the Days Inn we stay at are not like this. The bed was very very comfortable. We slept fine. But the sheets were grey. Couldn't tell if they were clean or just dingy. Needed an iron to press a shirt and the iron we came back to the room with did not work. Went back to the office and we were told we had to wait till the next morning when housekeeping got in. We went to get the iron and had to wait for housekeeping to bring us the iron. This one worked! Yeah. Thank goodness the bed was fine and maybe their renovating little by little. With this hotel you get what you pay for. It's not super nice or over the top but its a good place to take a warm shower and sleep. It's very close to world and oceans of fun. There are also good places to eat pretty close by. All in all ill stay here again due to the location.

You get what you pay for...The hotel is old, but the rooms are nice size and fairly decent. You can tell it is definitely a one night stop over. Lots of pick-up with cars in tow. The neighborhood is commercial/industrial area. The shining spot in their continental breakfast was the waffle iron, you make your own waffles...everything else was old stale […] or awful. Spend the money and go to the Waffle House for a good breakfast. The location to Worlds of Fun right down the street. Hope this helps, but like I said-You Get What You Pay For. Lees meer

Rug going into the office was in poor repair causing us to trip as we walked in. door to our room looked like some one had tried to break into it. You could see light all around the door. couch was falling apart, the desk had a crooked leg. mold in the bathroom. Desk chair was broken. sidewalks dirty. Ice machine was dirty Room smlled musty.

Upon my arrival to the hotel, I stood at the front dest of the hotel with out being acknowledge by the receptionist, for nearly 8 to 10 minutes. The receptionist was at the front dest but she was on the phone. After her phone conversation, she was very helpful. I just would've like to have been acknowledge while I was standing there. stairwell smelled like urine. towels were thread bare. bed had blood stain. tiles were loose in bathroom. However, bed and pillow were comfy, internet worked great. For a budget hotel it was average. I would stay there again in a pinch.

The air conditioners are loud, the water won't rinse the soap, and all the beds are diffrent so you might get a good or you might not. Saturday morning we returned from breakfast and were locked out of our room and the maitnance guy was at another hotel.. They ended up sending the cleaning crew over with a crow bar and a screw driver to pry the door […] open which was very easy and not very secure. They moved us to another room with an air conditioner so loud you couldnt sleep while it was running. The pool was dirty and cloudy. Not a good experience. Lees meer

I reserved 2 rooms one was great the other had mold in the carpet and the carpet was wet . The room smelled moldy I asked the attendant at the desk she got an attitude and said I could move to a smoking room instead with 2 beds no sofa sleeper. I guess that was better than a moldy room

The people managing the hotel were very nice, but the hotel itself was very dirty, old dingy linens, dirty floors, stained comforters and just overall low-end hotel! Every room had a bad smell of either mildew, smoke or urine.We had booked four rooms for two nights and by the time we discovered it was that bad, we could not find rooms anywhere else. […] Yes, it was not terribly expensive - but I expected it to at least be clean - not glamorous. I was very dissapointed in the Hotel. The rooms have not been at all kept up with large scrapes on the walls and very stained carpets. Our sink was covered with ants we could not leave anything on it and kept all of our snacks in the fridge. The pool had debris including bandaides in it.. hotel was close to Worlds & Oceans of Fun. had a couple of bugs in the room & noise from upper floor was a bit irrating parking lot had several vehicles with flat tires, also wrecked vehicle(s)...a body shop, maintenance shop commotion in middle of night, mattress & box spring in parking lot next morning

hotel is older. door didnt shut all the way, not the cleanest hotel

This hotel was definately worth what we paid. Very close to Worlds of Fun and easy to find. I will recommend it to friends and possibly stay again in the future.

Good place to stay if your just intrested in needing a room. Worked well to take the wife and kids to oceans of fun.

Room was fine. Location was great. Breakfast left a lot to be desired - if any left at all. And parking was a problem on one night (Thursday) because of the drivers taking vehicles to auction taking up the parking lot and blocking spaces/cars. I would recommend because of price, cleanliness, comfort and location.
