Wanna Wanna Inn ligt aan het strand in South Padre Island, dicht bij Andy Bowie-park, Reddingscentrum zeeschildpadden en South Padre Island Convention Centre. Vogel- en natuurcentrum South Padre Island ligt ook in de buurt van dit hotel.

"Laid back hotel on the beach"
Wanna Wanna isn't fancy but if u like a place with a laid back atmosphere this is the place for you. Friendly staff, clean room located right on the beach. "Great Location"
Loved the location. Right on the beach! The room was clean. Bed was made everyday, towels replaced daily. Really had a good time at the Wanna Wanna!
"SPI Bikefest Oct 13-16"
This was the place to be for the SPI Bikefest. The Tiki bar on the sand is the best part of this hotel. My only real complaint is that they do not use fitted sheets on the firm, springy mattresses. The sheet kept bunching up, making sleeping less restful. The A/C worked great and the room was quiet when many people were downstairs at the bar. "Great location and AWESOME bar!"
So I researched the Wanna Wanna quite a bit before booking it. I was traveling with my dog (a 60 lb. Golden Retriever) and was most interested in a pet friendly hotel that was on the beach. I didn't want to have to drive a big sandy dog around S. Padre. I saw that the Wanna Wanna was pet friendly ($50 refundable cash deposit at check in and $10/night […] per pet - 2 pets max) so I checked around. A lot of the reviews I read complained about the noise of the bar as well as the rooms themselves, so I wanted to address those concerns as I was worried about the room being gross. I stayed in room 102 (1st floor) and it was clean and comfortable. No bugs, no nasty sheets, etc. The bed was firm but clean. And really, who goes to Padre to sit in a room? I had a mini fridge, a flat screen TV and a microwave too AND they supply you with a broom for sweeping up tile floors. Perfect! There was even a table and chairs for work (but again, who works at the beach? not me). Regarding the bar, I was the most excited about it and was NOT disappointed. Great food (try the raw oyster cocktail or a cheeseburger with fries) and fantastic drinks (the Turbo Pina Colada is a doozie!). I stayed there (on accident) over Beach Biker Weekend (think: thousands of Harleys and people wearing leather) and have to say that yes, on Saturday night the noise was a little loud but that's what happens when you stay at a 15-room motel that's connected to an AWESOME beach bar. As for location, you can NOT beat it - it is literally a ten foot walk from the sand and the bar you can walk up to from the beach (no alcohol in but you can bring alcohol out onto the beach as long as it is not glass). The pool was small but cool and had chairs for lounging and it's right by the bar's patio. All in all, a GREAT stay at the Wanna Wanna. I will be back if I'm ever in Padre. Bring earplugs if you go to bed early or can't sleep during noise (however the second night, Sunday night, all the bikers left and the noise level was Lees meer
"Best beach front"
This hotel has the best beach front bar and patio that we found. The room was ok but the location of the hotel was the best.

Hotel and Location is great, but stay away from the bar! The bar manager is extremely rude!!! He talked down to me and my wife and scolded us for bringing in drinks from our own hotel room which was 10 feet away!!! I understand the policy, but the way he spoke to us was completely out of line. I will never stay here again and warn anybody coming here […] to stay away from the horrible customer service at the dirty bar!!!! Lees meer
"Great little place"
The Inn appears to have been recently renovated. Flat screen tv in the room. Room was small but that is what I wanted. Nice bar and grill. Friendly staff. Beautiful view of beach.

"Right by the Beach"
Great location on the beach. The bar/patio offers a nice place to relax and eat out of the sun. Excellent view from the room. Room was very bare and TV had bad reception.
"Very comfortable"
We enjoyed our stay because of the accesssibility to the beach. Their Tikki bar, which also serves food, was an added plus. The only negative was parking - not enough spaces for hotel guests.
"Overpriced yet fun."
Hotel has a great location right on the beach. Outdoor Tiki bar was hopping and the food was good for a small bar. Live music might keep go to bed early people awake. Pool could've used a cleaning. Beach was a bit trashy but not the hotels fault. Big drawback was the parking. The hotel shares a lot with the bar and public beach so any time after noon […] it's a crapshoot on whether or not you'll find a place. Lees meer
"Location Location Location"
All things considered....the location is top notch...the bar and grill is great! But I thought the rooms were very run down and not as clean as I would have liked. I ended with a strained neck because hte pillows were HORRIBLE. My girlfriends didn;t even want to use the shower.
