Hotel Relais Ducale in Gubbio

The Relais Ducale was perfect in all ways. The staff very wisely and helpfully explained how to bring the car up through the alleyways and unload our suitcases, then park nearby. The room was simply beautiful-- thoughtfully and creatively furnished. Gubbio itself is a gem, and this hotel made it possible for us to enjoy the city to the full.

At off-season prices, this is a bargain. The perfect place to experience Gubbio.

A lovely hotel with extremely accomodating, friendly and informative staff. Finding the hotel was a little tricky in our car but the staff gave very helpful directions to nearby parking. A beautiful location, with stunning sun sets on the nights we stayed. Ask for a room away from the clock tower if you are a light sleeper (or keep windows shut with […] AC on) Be prepared to climb steps in Gubbio as with this hotel. Overall good value. Very unconventional to check in, you have to park outside their restaurant and go thru the restaurant and up stairs to reach the registration area. A great courtyard and roof garden, but we weren't able to use these in March as the weather wasn't suitable. Guest room was clean. I found the shower to be extremely small and water would […] start to fill up if you ran it for too long. Not a lot of choices in Gubbio, so I think this is your best bet. Set at the elevated centre of the old town this hotel has a touch of the old world about it. The cafe served up a fantastic espresso & lattes with a good italian breakfast and for the 60 or so Euro the room was great. The church bells in Gubbio do ring well into the night - so ear-plugs are advised for light sleepers - Relais Ducale is opposite the […] main offending bell tower. The service was a little brisk and we were left to our own devises a when a little extra help would have been comforting, but at the price it was very good. Note that after dropping bags you car must be parked outside the old town which is a 10min walk back. Gubbio offered us some of the best food - and we seek out good food, so ask around and you too will find it. Lees meer

Lovely oldy worldy hotel right in the town centre. Nice bar downstairs and outside tables for lunch. Had to park 10 minutes walk away, but once we got to the hotel they explained a route we could use to bring the car up to drop off our cases. However, we didn't find this out until after we'd parked as there was no telephone number for the hotel on the […] booking website. This was a unique and lovely experience with a great location. The downside is was difficult to find the hotel as we drove. We did not get clear directions from the hotel about its location and GPS didn't either. Anyway, the hotel staff were absolutely wonderful. fantastically helpful staff, beautiful location, amazing views. Charming service and good value. Design - traditional Italian ( ie 80's Victoriana) rooms rather dated but the luxury rooms very comfortable. Bathroom we had was v basic. Standard room looked v small. Four stars is pushing it a little but then it is one of the top 3 in the town.

Well maintained property in a beautiful and historic building. Terrific, friendly service. Wonderful garden hidden in the middle of the hotel complex. Very nice breakfast. My only caution is that both the town of Gubbio and this hotel are very vertical places and, oddly enough, the elevator starts in the middle of the building. 部屋は快適で、眺めも素晴らしかったです。Hotel内は階段が多く、Hotelまでも坂や階段を上がります。中庭などからも入口はありましたが、シーズンオフだったためかBarからしか入れませんでした。

perfekt läge i centrum, jätte hjälpsam personal, fina, stora rum, tyst, vackert innergård, men frukosten var lite tråkig, alltid kalla ägg, gräslig juicemaskin, mycket söta bakelse och kakor, fruktkonserver och lite färsk frukt. Men man kan inte bo bättre!

Otroligt mysigt hotell med jättefina rum. En mycket fin och sevärd omgivning. En lugn stämning över hela byn. Okej frukost för att vara italien. Gratis parkering ca. 5 min bort.

Satisfaction globale, personnel gentil et efficace mais les endroits communs manquent de classe et de gout pour un 4étoiles italien. Petit déjeuner moyen. Mais l'hôtel gère aussi un restaurant proche à la qualité gastronomique exceptionnelle et qui offre 10% de réduction aux hôtes.

Hotel in dimora storica, disposto su più piani. La complicazione dei percorsi interni è giustificata dalla storicità dell'edificio. La piazza su cui si affaccia vale già parte del soggiorno. Personale cortese e disponibile.

Гостиница бесподобна! Старинные интерьеры и при этом все удобства как в современных гостиницах. Доброжелательный персонал и вкусная еда. Гостиница расположена в самом сердце исторического Губбио.

hyggeligt og utraditionelt hotel med gode rene og hyggelige værelser

kahvaltı bıu otele pek yakısacak zenginlikte değildi. Ayrıca kahvaltı salonu da aynı şekilde. Yanlış anlaşılmasın, buyuk açık bufe beklentimiz yok, tercih de etmeyiz ama daha rafine olması gerekirdi. Onun dısında cok memnun kaldık. Ozellikle konum ve tarihsel geçmiş baglamında.
