Het hotel is voor downtown goedkoop en in goede staat. Een aanrader t.o.v. alle conferentiehotels in de buurt. Ruime kamers, sommige met ijskast en magnetron. WInkel om de hoek en ontbijt inbegrepen al stelt dat niet zo heel veel voor
Ligging.
Turtle Cay Resort ligt in de buurt van het strand in Virginia Beach, dicht bij Croatan Beach, Aquarium en maritiem onderzoekscentrum van Virginia en Waterpark Ocean Breeze. In de buurt liggen ook Congrescentrum van Virginia Beach en Standbeeld van Neptunus.

Turtle Cay Resort heeft 2 spabaden, een buitenzwembad en een binnenzwembad. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere meertalig personeel, een wasserij en een picknickplaats. Parkeren op locatie is gratis. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie.
Hotelkamers.
Turtle Cay Resort heeft 124 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een kluis en een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker. Elke kamer is voorzien van een inbelverbinding. Elke televisie heeft premiumkanalen via de kabel en betaalfilms. Elke kamer beschikt over een telefoon met meerdere lijnen met voicemail. Elke badkamer is voorzien van make-up/scheerspiegels en een föhn.
Elke kamer heeft een magnetron en een koelkast. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een strijkplank/strijkijzer en openslaande ramen. Bovendien wordt dagelijks een huishoudservice aangeboden. Op verzoek zijn voorzieningen als een telefonische wekdienst beschikbaar. Op de kamers van Turtle Cay Resort mag niet worden gerookt.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.

"Fantastisch hotel nabijgelegen bij het strand en de boardwalk"
Zeer plezierig hotel , gebouwd in mooie koloniale stijl (Key West).Keurige kamer met iedere dag verse lakens en schone handdoeken en badlakens. Het ontbijt in het aan de overkant gelegen Mahi Mahs behorend bij het concern, was zeer goed met uitstekende bediening. Bij mijn volgende bezoek aan Virginia Beach zal ik zeker dit hotel weer boeken.
"Mini Vaca"
I've never been a fan of " smaller resorts" but this place changed my mind the phots that you can find on sites do this no justice and, it close to any and everything even the beach which is across he street wonderful!!!!!!! We ill be visiting agian this summer def!
"Turtle Cay"
We stayed at Turtle Cay for the Shamrock Marathon Weekend. Overall, we loved it. The room was great and the pool areas were fabulous. The only problem we encountered was when we arrived. We arrived a couple hours before check-in, stopped at the desk and inquired at the desk about an early check-in. Our room wasn't ready, which isn't a big deal, however, […] the desk clerk led us to believe that they were going to clean one ASAP. It was over 2 hours later before it was ready. My daughters and I had an amazing time while at the Turtle Cay Resort. The staff was very helpful and the house-keeping women were amazing. We stayed on the 3rd floor and I can honestly say that there was nothing that could have made our stay more pleasant other than more vacation time!!!! "Turtle Cay Hotel Virginia Beach, VA"
We had a wonderful stay at the Turtle Cay Hotel. The rooms were really nice, roomy and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. We didn't get to use the pool area but it looked like a Hawaiian paradise. Right across the street is Chix Restaurant and Mahi Mah's both have exceptional food. We would return there […] as the location to the beach is so accessible. We had a great stay! Lees meer

"Turtle Cay - convenient location, nice room"
The staff was very helpful. I got a King suite and liked the set up of the room. The bed was comfortable, but the pull out was not. I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a nice place to stay at the beach that has a kitchen.
"Everything great except the noise"
I really loved the pool/hot tub courtyard, the room overall....except the noise. I stay in many hotels and this has the thinnest walls, poorly sealed doors between rooms, allowing a high level of noise. Other factors contributing to noise are the outside floors made of decking caused a rumble whenever other guests rolled carts through, early morning […] or late at night. Oh, and I almost forgot, the largest naval air station in the US (Oceana) is minutes away. It was cool seeing the F/A-18's while sitting poolside, but they are loud early in AM. Lees meer
"Turtle Cay Resort - Virginia Beach, VA"
The furniture needs to be replaced or updated. The cushions on the chair and sofa in the King Suite room were wore out and need replacing (room 104). Had a minor problem with the shower door, however, it was addressed immediately by the condo staff. Otherwise, it was terrific! I always enjoy staying a the Turtle Cay Resort/Condo/timeshares. I was disappointed […] that I was not included in the timeshare openhouse at their new facility on the beachfront because I was single and not married. I guess they thought I couldn't afford the time share. They are wrong! Never judge a book by its cover!! They missed an opportunity! Lees meer

"top rated"
Turtle Cay is a time share property, which I was not aware of when we booked. This was a great place. The staff from grounds keeper to front office were just great. Friendly with a smile is an understatement, we felt so welcome and appreciated. I would love to stay with them again, and the location is better than right on the beach, in that they have […] the most outstanding inter court area with two pools, hot tubs and wonderful feel about it all. After checking in, and being disappointed by seeing the pretty place Turtle Cay has for their timeshare guests across the street on the beach, we were taken to our room which overlooked a busy street. Not the pretty rooms facing the pool or with the fireplaces. Our room smelled overwhelmingly of bleach. I am a clean person, but it was too much for me […] and we had to leave the door open for awhile to air it out. The buttons on the phone were broken as was the alarm clock, but lucky for us, our phones have an alarm feature. We both slept poorly that night due to constant traffic noise and a ventilation system that cycled all night. The next night was better, as we bought earplugs. Although the room was clean when we came, there was no housekeeping service during our stay. Didn't realize how far the hotel was from the 8k and marathon starting lines. I wouldn't recommend staying at Turtle Cay for this unless you enjoy hunting for a place to park . Wouldn't recommend it anyway. I am disappointed in our choice of hotels, and what disappoints me most is that we wasted a free night from hotels.com on this place! Lees meer
"Nice Hotel"
Nice hotel, customer service was great. They gave us tons of stuff on resturants and helped my girlfriend with information on getting married at VA beach since we are not local. Overall very good experience, we both very much enjoyed the hotel and service.

"Decent hotel."
Hotel was nice. Outside the room, the hallways are loud due to the way the flooring was constructed so that anytime someone was pushing a luggage cart, you would hear the wheels clicking very loudly. Not that big of a deal. Otherwise good hotel however overpriced.
"Pools are the best part!"
Hotel is not located on the main boulevard and doesn't have an ocean view. But it is cozy and beautiful pools repay all that. They are the best part - extremely nice and clean. The biggest is 5 ft deep, smaller up to 3 ft, and 2 hot tubs. We all love them! Consider booking a king size bedroom with pools view, not a studio with a street view and a noise. […] It is more expensive but worth every penny if you are staying longer. Nice and responsive a front desk personnel. One of that stays we will remember a long time. Lees meer

"Perfect for Family of 4"
Very comfortable king-sized bed in bedroom and sofa sleeper (we put the mattress on the floor to avoid the dreaded "bar") in den for the kids. Balcony overlooking the pool was awesome. Unexpected surprise of washer & dryer really made our day.
"Great Location - Thin Floors & Walls"
Nice Hotel across the street from the beach with easy access. Great parking directly below the hotel. Only complaint was the thin floors and walls. Upstairs noise was horrible, every footstep was heard. We would only return if they could guarantee we would be on the top (third) floor.

"FAMILY ORIENTATED RESORT"
OUR STAY STARTED OUT BADLY AS THE HOTEL DID NOT HAVE MY RESERVATION. LUCKILY I HAD THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL FROM HOTELS.COM. THEY DID NOT HAVE A ROOM FOR ME THAT I SELECTED SO THEY UPGRADED US TO A 1 BEDROOM SUITE. NOW IT WAS VERY NICE INSIDE AND I WAS PLEASANLY SUPRISED. THE ONLY ISSUE IS THAT THER WER 4 OF US. WHERE WOULD THE OTHER 2 SLEEP. INSTEAD […] OF ANOTHER BED WE HAD A PULL OUT COUCH. MY BACK IS STILL HURTING4 DAYS LATER. THE POOL IS GREAT AND A BIG HIT WITH THE KIDS. THE STAFF IS OVERLY HELPFUL. WE LOVE THE BEACH AND ITS RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. Lees meer

"Great Atmosphere"
My husband and I were on our honeymoon and it was great! It was romantic but also family friendly. We will be back next year with our 5 kids!
