HYATT house White Plains (Formerly Hyatt Summerfield Suites) in White Plains

Service of personel is outstanding. Breakfast buffet sufficient but limited choices. Room very quiet. Sepparate bedroom, livingroom and kitchen. All very clean. No restaurant but who needs one if White Plains is close by.

My husband and I stayed for one night because we were attending a wedding locally. Hotel is very comfortable, suites are hugh and very clean. Breakfast was great-nothing fancy, but plenty of choices.Would stay there again.

It was way better than expected. The rooms are nice, very clean and spacious. The breakfast is amazingly good, and the staff are very friendly. Location could be better, but overall this was a very nice experience!

I've been to Hyatt Houses before, and like always all my expectations were met. My room was awesome, I had a king bed with it's own bathroom and vanity area, and we also had another room with two double beds with its own bathroom and vanity area as well. Hotel was quiet, room was clean, staff was friendly. The only negative comment I have is that the […] TV's didn't work too well right away, but that was a minor inconvenience for me. This hotel was nice, close to NYC, room clean and comfortable, breakfast was great staff wary friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

Bedroom suites are very roomy and the hotel was nice and clean, however the from desk staff was not friendly and actual came off a little rude as if they were being disturbed by me checking in.

I would return to this hotel. I was very pleased with all aspects of the room as far as accomodations and accoutrements with only 1 issue. The toilet in the bathroom kept cycling non stop all night about every 3-5 minutes. Aside from that it was very clean the continental breakfast very tasty and the staff friendly.

The Hyatt was super convenient to everything we needed. 30 minutes to NYC (with no traffic), 5 minutes from the Westchester Mall, 15, minutes to our daughter in Bedford, and 25 minutes to our daughter in Weston CT. Wonderful treadmills, etc in the gym. Decent breakfast. We would definitely return.

I don't like surprises. I do my research when I travel so I know what to expect. This hotel lists room deposit fees and pet fees on the Hotels.com site, but does not mention the hold they put on your credit card. I don't care if this is the practice, I don't trust that my money is held for an indefinite time. I've had hotels misuse the money they've […] held and take entirely too long to remove the hold. To the indifferent front desk, do you really think I believe you will "discuss this with management?" Otherwise a very nice suite, nice breakfast, and a pleasant stay. Lees meer

Close to New York City, clean, nice, great breakfast

I've stayed in other HYATT's before and this experience was was no different. The room was clean, spacious, and amazingly comfortable. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious. I'll definitely be coming back to this Hyatt soon.

This hotel, although it is of older vintage, has been completely renovated and redecorated. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and my evening there was comfy and memorable for a guy that spends many nights per year in hotels! I would recommend this hotel highly!

Great stay, great breakfast. only problem daughter left tooth brush at home. was not able to receive a complimentary tooth brush. The cost for the tooth brush is $2.

My wife and I stayed at the Hyatt House and enjoyed it immensely. We were warmly greated by the front desk staff upon our entry into the hotel. The room we were given was very clean, spacious and comfortable. There were two large televisions, a kitchen, a separate bathroom area, lots of closet space and a king size bed. The staff immediately checked […] in with us to make certain our room was satisfactory. Later, they provided several dinner selections from nearby restaurants to those that delivered. Have stayed here a few times, the rooms and hallways were updated recently. Good service and nice accomodations, but out by itself on the edge of White Plains.

My daughter told me about this hotel and was glad we stayed there. Most important was the 2-bed suite we had with full kitchen. Pleasant front desk staff and nice buffet breakfast. It served our purpose.

Although I only stayed in the hotel one night, and overall find it more than satisfactory, I was particularly impressed by the staff, especially General Manager Anthony Damiano. I had missed the complimentary breakfast on the morning of my departure. Even though the breakfast setting had already been cleaned up, the General Manager himself asked if […] he could accommodate me with a light continental breakfast. He personally went to the kitchen and got me some juice, coffee and a muffin so I didn't have to go to my meeting on an empty stomache - all complimentary. We love this hotel. The 2 bedroom suites are great for families.

Hotel was very nice, but a little troublesome finding at first. It's located away from anything convient, such as restaurants, and not in walking distance. However the rooms were more that adequate. The breakfast was very good, the employees from the maids to the front desk were great. I would definantly stay here again.

Need a car or else it's a lonely place.....Also, was finally getting a little down time in the meddle of a long trip, relaxing at the pool, until about 15 little kids show up with their families and shatter the peace.....

Great place to stay.

Nice hotel, a bit overpriced for where it is. You definitely need a car if you want to do anything.

My son goes to SUNY Purchase and several times during the year we have the need to visit him. The Hyatt has become our only choice. The rooms and grounds are kept well, there is a nice workout room and a nice breakfast to begin the day. We also have two dogs and a suite is great for pets.

This is the 2nd time my wife and I have stayed here. The suite is bigger than my son's apart ment, it is an excellent value. We were in the area for his engagement and wouldn't hesitate to stay here for the wedding. We even obtained a business card to inquire about group rates when the plans are finalized. This property is under renovation. As a result, there are exposed wires, HVAC sytems, ceiling tiles, etc everywhere. They were having ongoing challenges with the A/C system, and I woke up to my room temperature at 80 degrees. They had to move my room three different times, which means I was in no less than 4 rooms over the course of a 5-night stay. […] The A/C compressors froze over in two different rooms, effectively shutting down the system, and in a third room, the A/C system leaked profusely, all over the rug. Need a car to travel into city, but very affordable and nice suites. All updated and renovated. Breakfast included, free parking.

Have stayed here about six times now and this was the first time we were disappointed. The hotel is being renovated and our room on the 4th floor was shabby: wallpaper coming off in hall, broken table in room, broken tiles in bathroom floor, matress on sofa-bed was well-worn and no sheets or blanket. A great "residence inn" with fully furnished suites, breakfast everyday, evening knosh and drinks except weekends. Near the crossing of I-95, I-287, and I-687 just east of White Plains. Super if you have a car, otherwise forget it.

Bedroom combined with spacious living room. Great idea and great for people who want to work little bit during vacation. We will choose Hyatt again!

Everything was much better than any expectation we had - very friendly staff, wonderful large rooms, living room with a large tv and DVD player, kitchen and big table, we will look to stay here again the next time we're in the area.
