Dit is een driesterrenhotel en daarmee rekening houden moet ik zeggen dat dit, denk ik, het beste hotel in de omgeving is die je kunt boeken. Alles wat nodig is, is aanwezig. De service is hoog. Prima hotel, goede ligging, vriendelijk personeel. Wij (gezin, 2 kinderen van 11 en 13 jr) hebben een prima verblijf gehad. Ligt in de zijstraat van een grote winkelstraat (Ermou) en is op loopafstand van veel leuke café's, restaurants, terrassen, etc. Aanrader!

Advies: neem bus 95 vanaf het vliegveld en je stapt uit op het Syntagmaplein, op loopafstand van het hotel. Hotel ligt aan een zijstraat van de Ermou, midden in het winkelcentrum, hartje stad. Excellent location. Near everything...shops, ancient sites, cool neighborhoods, etc...

Loved the location! Prime location to the Plaka, Syntagma Square and the shopping on Ermou. Clean rooms with fresh fruit waiting upon your arrival. The only negative is that there are steps leading from the reception desk to the elevators and there isn't always someone available to help with your luggage so it's a pain to carry heavy luggage up and […] down the stairs. Booked this based on the great reviews on Hotels.com. And it delivered. Super location, and nice service. We got given vouchers for a free drink (coffee, ouzo, or juice) at the hotel bar, which was nice. Our only complaint is that the free wifi is terrible, and is only available in the (small) lobby, and even then cuts in and out. The location of this hotel is perfect. It's near Sytagma square, Plaka and the Metro station. We were able to walk everywhere. Only once did we use the Metro but could have easily walked to our destination. The room was very very small, it's the smallest room we stayed during our entire 3 weeks vacation in Greece. Average breakfest, nothing great.

Walking distance to all the sights. Bars and restaurants close . Close to where the bus drops you of from the airport. Good basic hotel.

Not bad, good for the price. First night we stayed couldnt sleep because of a club nearby, second night had a different room and it was 10 times better than the one we had before, all in all not to bad and very good location

you can walk to almost everywhere. Close to Metro.

Great location-close proximity to all sites,transportation and shopping/restaurants. Front desk is very friendly and informative. Starbucks nearby. Friendly Greek people. The bed was hard but the room was spotless.

Hotel was well located for shopping and sights. A 2* by UK/US standards which translates to 4* by Greek standards. Recommend and would stay there again on any return trip.

We stayed at the Athens Cypria for 4 nights and enjoyed it. The location is perfect, 5 minutes to the Syntagma Square metro station, and within walking distance to the major sites- Acropolis, Lycobeatus Hill, Psyrii and Monastiraki neighborhoods, etc. This hotel was located right off of Ermou Street, which is the major shopping street with tons of stores […] and no automobile traffic. There are a few cafes below the restaurant for an afternoon drink or late night bite. We also found the breakfast to be very good, with a wide selection of both hot and cold items. The only negative was that our room was dark. Although it was a renovated room (and not one of the outdated rooms mentioned in other reviews) it was very dark and we needed all the lights on even when the curtains were opened. Lees meer

We walked to the Acropolis museum, to the Acropolis, Adrian museum, placa, fleet market and cafes. We enjoyed to eat the fresh bread that they sell on the street making feeling us part of the Athenian people, Hotel is located close to Ermou Street were all the shops are. The staff of the Hotel were extremely nice and helpful

This hotel was great! It wasn't fancy, but it was clean and in a shopping district, close to public transportation and several tourist sites. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. The lobby has wi-fi and there are free-use cords for the rooms. While the views are not great from the room, the bartenders are friendly and have great recipies for drinks […] and advise about local sights. I would stay here again anytime. Lees meer

Excellently situated for sight seeing. Within walking distance of all the shops and cafe bars. Very convenient.

Very good hotel clean and quite big room with very good working air condition, excellent location - 3min walk from Syntagma Square and 7min from Monastriaki Metro Station. We stayed here one night. We had previosly stayed closer to the Acropolis Museum and that was a slightly nicer neighborhood. But, if you like being near lots of shopping, this is the place for you. Nothing good or bad to mention, but if I had my choice I would stay in a different neighborhood.

Hotel staff were fantastic. Breakfast good. Beds rock hard, midget size bathroom. Location to Plaka, Acropolis coudln't be better.

We arrived 2 hrs before check in but they were nice enough to give us a room, not a good room-small even for Athens, smelled of smoke, barely lit, with only a small window overlooking the elevator shaft and even though we had gotten a great rate it was not acceptable, we asked for another room which they gladly provided, much better, bigger, well lit […] decent view, good bathroom. Staff was very attentive and pleasant, we were provided with a welcome drink which was nice, breakfast selection was good but very busy as you can imagine with 140+ rooms. Free WiFi was a plus too. Very convenient right in Syntagma square, close to everything and unless you have lots of bags, if you're coming from the airport you can save the price of a taxi and just take the Metro and walk about 5 minutes. We did not see the new wing, which is supposedly even nicer, I think it comes down to the room you get. All in all a nice hotel, we would stay again. Lees meer

Very central location for all those who don't have access to a car. The Acropolis is a 20 minute walk. The flea market is a 5 minute walk and the Plaka with all its cafes and restaurants is a 10 minute walk. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Great place. Will stay there again if I ever go to Athens again.

this is a great find and central location for Athens touring. my room on the 4th floor had a nice deck balcony. Greek staff speaks English well; all were very pleasant and helpful with any questions asked. free internet would have made it perfect. (why don't Europeans use screens?)

The hotel has a fantastic breakfast and is centrally located in Athens for sightseeing. I wasn't thrilled with some of the staff but most were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

We stayed at the Athens Cypria Hotel during our Honeymoon trip to Greece and found that it was a pleasant surprise. The airline delayed our luggage arrival since we had a short layover, but they delivered it directly to the hotel in the middle of the night! The reception desk staff held our luggage for us until we woke up and picked it up. The staff […] was very helpful and gave good advice about where to go and things to see. We even got a free bottle of Champagne for our Honeymoon! The rooms were huge and the jacuzzi tub was soothing after a long day of hiking the Acropolis. Laslty, the hotel is really close to streets full of shopping, bars, and restaurants. Very Convenient! We even got a decent cab fare from our hotel to the port of PIRAEUS (16 Euro on way). Fantastic location right next to Plaka and walking distance to Acropolis. My husband and I had a nice king size bed but our two kids had terrible rollaway type beds and slept poorly as a result. Breakfasts were great though as well as free internet.

Good hotel but we stayed at much better places for the money. Location was good to Sygma Square for transportation (our main reason for this choice). I would stay next time at the Parthenon Airotel and get breakfast included. We stayed at the parthenon for 2 nights earlier in the week and should have gone back for this stay. Dierekt am Parlament ( Syntagma ), Metro und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie Akropolis. Zimmer sind etwas verwohnt aber immer sauber, Service gibt auch sein bestes. Frühstück immer gleich aber gut und ausreichend.

close to the Syntagma means close to the all must see places. well i should admit that Athens is not a big city, however if you want to stay in a hostel located close to main district, this is the place. and very helpfull stuff.

도미토리에서 머물다가 아테네에서는 1인실을 사용하게 되었습니다. 객실, 화장실 다 청결한 편이구요. 아침식사도 괜찮습니다. 신타그마광장 바로 근처라 지하철, 버스 등 이동에도 용이해요. 일단 지역이 혼자 다녀도 괜찮을만큼 안전하구요. 오모니아는 가봤는데 좀 무섭더라구요. 직원분들도 딱히 부딪힐 경우도 없지만 친절했어요. 다만 아쉬운 점이라면 에어컨이 그다지 시원하디않아요. 그리고 에어컨 돌아가는 소리, 밖에 팬 돌아가는 소리가 꽤 시끄러워 불편했습니다. 제가 예민했을수도 있지만.. 3박했는데 좋은편이에요.
