Easy walk to the gondola and casinos. Room was clean and comfortable.

Would stay here again. Convenient location. Helpful staff. Clean. Nothing fancy but a very good value.

The price of the room was extremely cheap. In fact it was so cheap I was a little afraid the room would be dirty/neglected. But the room was nice and clean. The night manager was very helpful, he drew us maps to surrounding areas. They had access to a beautiful beach. They are located near Harrah's but are a fraction of the price! Clean room, friendly staff, great location, maintained property & a right price. Our room had 5 pillows in each bed, Wow. That was such a blessing for me to be able to sit up & read in bed. Most hotels have 2 pillows for each bed & easily very uncomfortable for a tired body after a day of skiing. I have to give mu thumbs up for that. The laundry room […] was clean & well equipped. However, only 2 sets of washer & dryer is available. But they are in good working order. The breakfast is a treat for the health minded. Coffee is hot. Many tables to share the food in front of the fireplace. It locates a block away from the Heavenly gondola. Easy walking distance while wearing my clumsy ski boots. The walls are a bit thin & the there no sound insulation between the floors.But it is not much different from any other hotel in the same area. The bed is very comfortable. We slept like a baby. HVAC in our room works good. Heat for the morning hours & cooling in the afternoon after a long day on the slopes. The shower head in our room is one of the best in this class & price of hotel. It is a non-adjustable shower head. But has enough water pressure to give a good relief to the weary body. A safety deposit box in our room was a welcome surprise. The room completes with mini refrigerator , microwave oven, coffee maker & a TV that actually works. The TV has many channels to choose from. The picture was clean & the sound was bright. The hotel was clean and conveniently located in South Lake Tahoe. The breakfast provided was basic. Coffee, Juice, 1 type of cereal, oatmeal and bagels. I would of appreciated more than just blinds on the windows.

Nice place close to everything which allows pets. Breakfast was simple. They always had coffee in the lobby.

Good Value and close to Heavenly Gondola. That said , the bed-pillow combo was not good for me and the free breakfast was worth exactly what was paid for it.

Not fancy, just clean. Took the South Tahoe Express shuttle from Reno airport and dropped off at Harvey's Casino. 1 block walk to Big Pines Mtn. House. No hassle check in and a welcome gift from front desk. 5 minute walk to Heavenly Gondola and shops. Supermarket and fast food resturants there also without the resort prices ($5 footlong sub shop and […] $1 menu at BK). Majority of all hotel properties on block vacant and behind construction fences-don't know why. Rooms needed update and shower ran slow. Teenage son loved the 5 different pillows on each bed- made it easy to find a comfortable one. Housekeeping staff had room presentable every night after a day of skiing. It was a place to sleep. Well, you get what you pay for but this place is fine for a rock-bottom priced motel. The room smelled strongly of disinfectant, the floors creak, it's noisy on the weekend with lots of families and late-night casino-revelers traipsing around at all hours. But you can't beat the price, and the place seems reasonably clean and friendly.

Amazing room for such a cheap prize. When I booked the room on Hotel.com, I never thought that we could get a room that nice and well- equipped. Very clean and a lot of space. Love the bathroom :). Definitely come back this summer

Hotel employees are friendly. They bake and leave cookies for hotel guests at the counter. I'm satisfied with this hotel. Just a few downsides are: - Walls are thin. I had a very noisy neighbor, which isn't the hotel's fault, but it was painful. I think they were college kids or something. - Blinds over windows. I wish they had curtains instead. Located one block off stateline and Tahoe Blvd. Easy walk to restaurants and shops and casinos. Nice hotel staff too with lite breakfast too!

Perfect location. Very cheap price for what u get. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Right next to state line, u can walk 3 minutes to the casino. The neighborhood has some abandoned hotels in the area and it's kind of strange. Also you can hear your neighbors pretty well. Upstairs recommended. Overall great for the price!

I'd stayed here for a family trip to South Lake Tahoe. I'd reserved 2 queen size beds in my 2 rooms and they felt like full size beds. I'm only 6ft. and my feet was hanging off the end. Also the room smelt like "butt and coffee". The hotel was "ok" and I expected something a little more cozy.

Our family stayed at big pine mountain house for two days. The hotel was surprisingly very clean and fresh smelling. We didn't want to spend two much money so for the cost it was very satisfactory for our short stay. It was also in walking distance to all the various tourist attractions.

good location of hotel to visit heavenly gondola which was at walkable distance, we have everything nearby,like casinos,shopping mall,theatre,lake tahoe beach within a circleof 6 miles. Hotel was comfortale enough

Extrememely convenient to Heavenly gondola, casinos, etc., comfortable bed, good price. On our short list of go-to places for snowboarding trips.

Walking distance to casinos and shops.

I booked 2 rooms at a higher floor when asked by hotels.com but the hotel receptionist wants to honor only one in the 2nd floor and the other on the first floor . She even asked me to show my booking documents which shows my request . She gave me a hard time before she made both rooms on the 2nd floor .

Walking distance to gondola and the rest of Heavenly Village. My room had a kitchenette, which was more complete than expected: stove and oven, good sized fridge, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, spatulas, knives, spatulas, etc. the staff was very nice and quick to help. Wifi was strong and fast and free. Free breakfast didn't seem much more than bagels […] and juice (I didn't partake since I used the kitchenette). They are also dog-friendly. It was a very small hotel not immediately visible from main street but are within walking distance to the part of town where there are a few things to do. Near casinos as well. Rooms are clean and spacious. Would stay there again definitely.

it was a good room but the managers were constantly checking in on us and telling us that there was only 6 people allowed in the room and we had 7. Also they told us to keep the noise down when it was only 5pm and it was new years eve and way out of line. The charge extra $10 per person and the room charge is only for 2 people so if you have more than […] 2 people work it out so they dont know or else you'll end up paying a bunch of money. Lees meer

I loved this hotel. Comes with fake fireplace and kitchenette. Everything was great, they had pots and plates if needed., The only thing that bothered me was the fireplace was on all the time and we didn't know how to turn it off. It actually got too hot inside even as it was freezing outside. I guess the rate was discounted as Tahoe was not as busy […] because of the lack of snow. Next to state line. But for three.nights, the kitchen refrdge froze everything. But that is my only cOmaint. The staff did whatever they could to help

A good place to stay. Initial view might not be that great but once you enter the room you will find it all nice and warm. Room is clean and they provide you with microwave and fridge. This place is walkable distance from the ropeway to go to heavely snow resort. It had a private beach also. Breakfast did not contain much options.
