We hebben goede dagen gehad, tussen Kerst en Oud en Nieuw in dit mooie hotel. Jammer dat de mensen achter de receptie niet vriendelijk zijn... Bij aankomst kregen we niet de bussinesskamers die we geboekt hadden. Met heel veel gedoe was er nog een kamer en daar moesten we ook nog voor bijbetalen!! Het hotel is zeer centraal gelegen aan de beroemde Kurfürstendamm, met op loopafstand de Gedächtniskirche en het bekende warenhuis KaDeWe, vergelijkbaar met Harrod's in Londen. Het openbaar vervoer ligt ongeveer op 100 meter vanaf het hotel, (bus en metro), van waaruit alle andere bezienswaardigheden in de stad snel te bereiken zijn. Door een promotie konden wij voor een redelijke prijs in dit prachtig hotel verblijven. Ideale lokatie, mooie luxueuze kamers. Kamers niet extreem groot, maar wel heel comfortabel ingericht. Het ontbijt van 18euro pp vonden wij voor Berlijn net iets te duur. In de stad kan je voor dezelfde prijs voor 2 eten.

Very modern & clean. N-hood is very touristy where 'Mitte' would have a younger flavor. They give access to the gym next door. a must see if you're into fitness. They Gym [ top notch] is 360 degree view from the 15th floor on the entire city.

This is an ideal hotel for anyone who wants to shop the Kudamm and be centrally located. Very convenient hotel located in a quiet business area yet close to designer shopping and many landmarks. The hotel does not have a gym but has a partnership with the gym across the courtyard. Great perk on the 14th floor with 360 degree view of the city. If this was a 3 star hotel you would be pleasantly suprised but as a 4 star it falls a little short. Room was clean and comfortable but don't expect feather pillows - only a rather lumpy single pillow each. Likewise a robe - only one provided per room - I suppose they expect you to share! 3 types of tea but only one bag each, so don't both go for the […] same type! We booked 2 rooms but despite my enquiry, were not placed together. However we were upgraded to a larger room type. Breakfast was good, but after new year the service fell apart rather - having to wait a good 10 mins for a table and then plenty of empty dishes in the breakfast buffet. Things simply were not replenished rapidly enough. Fruit juice dispenser was a total farce, with only the smalles dribble coming out. Most people just gave up waiting. Web site promised sauna spa/steamroom. but in fact they are not in the hotel but round the courner and up 14 floors in nearby Gym. We thought we would use it but the hastle of going over put us off. However staff friendly and good free wifi . What breakfast there was , was good. Given that we paid quite a lot for the rooms I think I would opt for a better hotel even though most charge extra for breakfast and wifi. Hotel is in a good location for access by public transport. We were delighted to get a free room upgrade. No intrusive noise anywhere and rooms have blackout curtains so you get a good night's sleep. Huge selection at breakfast buffet which is served over a four-hour timespan to suit early birds and late risers alike. Excellent coffee! Very nice hotel. Great location; great breakfast buffet included in price. Only slight complaint was a little road noise from room but considering central location the noise was minimal. Will definitely stay there again. Business lounge is well set up.

A good hotel with very good breakfasts, lacks bar and restaurant, probably aimed mainly at business travellers, but none the worse for that. Well located for shopping but rather distant from main sights although excellent and inexpensive public transport makes up for that.

Our executive room was by no means vast, though it was comfortable. During our stay we had some minor issues with the cleaning of our room - we had to ask for our complimentary dressing gowns; shower gels were not replaced; the mini-bar was not stocked on the day that we arrived. However, everyone we came into contact with was very friendly and helpful […] and these small problems were dealt with promptly. The location of the hotel is ideal for anyone planning a shopping trip, but if you are planning to explore the city and are only taking a weekend break you might feel you are too far from the centre. This was a very nice business hotel near the Zoo Garten and near the bus stop to the airport - the stop coming in from the airport is down about half a block.

The only good thing about this hotel was the location. The ethernet cable for the internet connection did not work, the room had a funky smell and it was constantly cold although I had the heat at the highest possible setting. The supposed "spa" is actually a guest pass to a gym that is located in the same commercial complex as the hotel. It's not terribly […] convenient and it is closed to guests under 18 (which the website didn't mention. If I had known that was the case I wouldn't have booked there, since I was traveling with my daughter). The front desk failed to give me the wake-up call that I asked for and I almost missed a transatlantic flight. In short, I was dissatisfied with this hotel and would definitely not stay there again. The pros: location is great, hotel staff are friendly, hotel is clean and modern, fitness facility is exceptional--high above the city with a great choice of machines and both steam and dry sauna. The cons: the room was 10x15 feet--and that included the shower/toilet/sink area. It felt more like a nice hostel than a 4-star hotel. There were only 3 english […] speaking tv stations--CNBC Bus., Bloomberg Bus, and BBC World. You get one bath towel and one wash towel--that's it. You get one hand lotion--that's it for toiletries. Wake-up call never came. No coffee maker, no iron, very little storage space, just one chair--the desk chair. This was a nice 2.5 star room in the center of KuDamm. Easy access via U-KuDamm stop. This was a great location, conveniently situated near the ICC, major shops and key subway/bus lines to sight see Berlin. The single rooms were not as spacious but for a reasonable fee, I upgraded to a fantastic double room on the top floor (which I highly recommend). Weekends we got excellent machiatto and coffee in the front lobby at no charge! And […] there are lots of great cafes and eateries right outside the hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful with directions etc. And free internet in the rooms was a great bonus! Only downside was that our double bed comprised two twin beds placed side by side with single comforters - not the most romantic of options but we heard this was common at hotels across the country. Great location and close to bus stops, underground, sightseeing buses, walking distance from upmarket shops, and the Zoo. The Hard Rock Cafe is just across the road. Very friendly, young staff. They offered an umbrella on rainy days without extra costs. I thoroughly enjoyed my five nights in Berlin. This hotel is amazing! It is SO close to 2 U-bahn stations & also to loads of attractions closeby, such as the zoo. There is a tourist info point just across the street too, which was handy, loads of places to do a bit of shopping on the main street & the hotel itself was impeccable, absolutely perfect, no complaints, comfortable bed & excellent staff(our […] next door neighbour was extremely noisy one night & upon calling the reception desk it was quickly dealt with!). This hotel is only 100m from Kurfurstendamm U-Bahn, so location and transport facilities can't be beaten. KaDeWe department store is only 5-10 minutes walk. Rooms aren't huge (but definitely don't feel cramped either) and are very modern, stylish and comfortable. Highly recommended, and often very competitively priced for such a great location.

Good Hotel, great location. this is the 2nd year running our group has booked this hotel. Lots of bars and cafe's nearby, good travel links- bus to the airport stops virtually outside the hotel and takes no more than 20mins. Plenty of shopping also close by - recommend the area and the hotel.
