"Decent place for the price"
This hotel was about what I expected based on the rating and price. It had the amenities that were perfect for a travelling family, i.e. free wifi and breakfast. The hotel seemed to have all the basics covered and it was clean & functional. The only part that could have been improved was the breakfast area & staff. The area was really small for a hotel […] of that size & the staff didn't seem to be on top of refilling items once they ran out. "Baymont Inn Redding - Noise issues"
Hotel was great except that each morning at about 330am the neighboring business was banging dumpsters and recieving deliveries. Not able to sleep. Dont get a room on the west side of the hotel. The other side may be better

Cleanliness was OK at best. Lots of loud guests and dogs barking. some of the staff was OK at best.

My hotel room was in back area of hotel, the door by the stairs - near my room was not working - so I had to walk around to use the working door. My hotel key card was setup for 1 night stay instead of two. I walked down to the front desk to "get it fixed" and it did not work in my door and had to go back to the front desk again. The elevator was extremely […] slow - like it wasn't working well. The pool area was very full of kids when I went to go swim - I don't think the kids were staying there as I saw them drive off in cars - it was strange. Then when I went to check out - I mentioned that I had family members staying at two other nearby hotels who got a discount as we had a death in the family (we all lived 7+ hours away) and I was told they don't do that. I wasn't real excited about my stay and wasn't necessarily looking for money, even another night or two as I was very unhappy w/ the weekend stay there, but was told they can't do discounts but that I can call the manager "but I don't think she can do aanything as you booked on hotel.com." "Good room for the price"
My husband was surprise n appreciative of finding a reclining chair in d room. We were also surprised to find a microwave and refrigerator in our room. We expected and reviewed online that ref n micro is by request only. Amazing. Only draw back was we noticed that we only had decaf coffee and they didn't provide us with face towels. A highly mediocre hotel stay. Clean room, basic amenities, standard continental breakfast fare, a decent-looking indoor pool area. Lumpy bed, ineffective curtains (against the blaring lights outside the room), the most basic cable TV package I've ever seen, very poor dining options in the vicinity (unless you like to have your pick of almost literally […] every fast food chain). Stayed here for a week in January for a Christian conference hosted by Bethel Church of Redding. Although in the midst of winter, we should have brought a pair of swim shorts. Baymont has an indoor heated pool and Jacuzi, a bonus if staying during winter months. Over all very satisfied with our stay with the exception of Friday night where 20 or more […] young adults snuck in through the side door entrance to a party hosted in one of the 2nd floor room. This hotel is a perfect location for my attending of a Bethel conference. It had all I was looking for, breakfast, pool, and hot tub.

"Good hotel for good price"
We were very comfortable and wold stay here again. Breakfast was good. Warm foods and fruit offered. The hallway carpet was worn and in need of repair but room was nice. Room had dust on air/heater and a few things in the room. I dusted things a bit before relaxing. I am not a neatnix and do not " dust" before staying in rooms but dust was obvious. "Warm Pool Close to restaurants"
My husband and I stayed here with our 2 young children. It was very affordable and the kids loved the pool. It was very warm and clean. The breakfast was good perfect and had things for all of us. We would definantly stay here again when passing through.

"Very good traveler's stop"
We only stayed 1 night, but had a comfortable king-sized bed and a larger-than-usual refrigerator which came in really handy, since we were carrying our own food on this trip. Breakfast was the usual fare, but again, saved us money! Easy to access and very quiet. Would stay there again if traveling between California and points further north!

I love the indoor swimming pool and spa and the spacious rooms, but the beds were so uncomfortable and not all rooms had microwaves and refrigerators. We had to ask to be moved to a room that did because we have an infant and we needed to be able to store his milk and be able to heat it up. Everything was excellent with the exception of doors slamming all night. It was difficult sleeping. But overall the hotel was comfortable and very clean.

One of best places to stay in Redding for the value. It managed to tuck itself away in a quiet location yet close enough to the highways and shopping. The rooms were large, clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

"Easy access to freeway and restaurants"
Found this to be a very nice hotel, the young lady at the reception desk was very friendly and most accommodating. The next morning the Staff was right on top of the breakfast as it was the 3rd of July and very busy. Great stay. Easy access to Restaurants, and freeway. Lee
"Easy, convenient and clean"
Perfect place for a stop on my long drive. The receptionist at the desk was very helpful. I asked if there was WiFi and she immediately offered to move me to a room closer to the router. Clean, right off the highway. Good value for the price.
We were very pleased with every thing. We had called to make reservations at another hotel which wasn't available when the nice gentleman suggested the Baymont. We were then glad the first choice fell through. Thank You, and yes we will stay again.

"No security - beware"
Door that required keycard for entrance was broken, anyone can walk in off street, watched homeless man going through dumpster during daytime, jacuzzi was broken, carpet was worn and very dirty, $30 per day for 6 pound chihuahua (other motels in area do not charge any pet fee), Front Desk personnel not helpful or friendly, (all my questions were answer […] with one word answers, either a "yes" or "no" Lees meer

"Nice room a little expensive"
I would stay again if I could get a better price. The night before we stayed at a chain hotel that was nicer for about $10 less. Comparing the two, Baymont had a fridge and micro, but we didn't use them. The other hotel was much nicer. Baymont needs to replace the carpet in the elevators and hallways. My biggest isse was at night they turn off the elevators. […] After asking for a handicap room and not getting, I then had to haul myself up 3 flights of stairs late at night with bad knees. Had I known that I would have stayed elsewhere. The room was nice and clean and the area was quiet. The night we were there, a hugr group of kids were there running around and generally making a lot of noise. That is not the hotels fault but it was a huge inconvenience. Lees meer

A very disapointing issue with our stay at this Baymont in Redding is the lack of cleanliness, the carpets did not look like they were cleaned and vacumed, in the elevator the carpet was due to be changed, it was cracked from one side, and folded from another side and ofcourse it had dirt all over as well as in the corners of the elevator there were […] messy small items.
