When you're travelling about in the Göteborg area and look for a place to stay, think of the Apple Hotel. The advantages surpass the inconveniences by far. The plusses: It's easily accessible, both by car and by tramway; it's relatively cheap; the price includes a well varied breakfast and a quite acceptable evening buffet; the staff is very, very attentive and helpful; it's open 24/24, a staff member being present at the reception desk all the time; it's clean all over the place; the E20 motorway with its heavy traffic and a railroad and a shunting-yard leading just behind the hotel you might expect a noisy and disturbed night's sleep, but the opposite is the case: due to very effective wall and windows insulation you don't hear any traffic noise from outside at all; car parking places for guests are largely available all around the hotel. The minuses: The premises look rather outdated; renovation is recommended (and some improvements are actually under construction indeed); in our room the TV-set was of the smallest possible size (14" or 15"); the number of wall outlets, hardly accessible because they were fitted just above the skirting-board, was absolutely insufficient: all of them were already occupied by the bedhead-lights, TV-set and DVD-player, so in order to charge all our mobile phones, shavers, laptops and other electronic devices we had to transform our room in a darkroom; a ceiling lamp was not provided at all. The Apple Hotel is located about 5 kms from Göteborgs city centre, so it'll take quite a while to get there and transportation by car or tramway is required. But who cares, considering the many advantages? You get what you paid for, maybe even a bit more. So, if you happen to visit Göteborg, just have a try at the Apple Hotel - you won't be disappointed.

Goed hotel/studio met prima service alleen voor 4 personen op een kamer was de kamer niet geschikt. Verder waren de extra bedden (opklap) niet opgemaakt bij aankomst en waren en in de studiokeuken slechts bestek en servies voor 2 personen ipv 4. Wel biljart, gezamenlijke ruimte aanwezig, ligging aan park en haven.

First Hotel G bevindt zich in Göteborg, dicht bij Tradgardsforeningen, Maritima Centrum en Stadsmuseum. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Liseberg en Universeum.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
First Hotel G heeft een sauna en een fitnesscentrum. Een draadloze internetverbinding is gratis beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes. Dit hotel in Göteborg biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals 2 bars/zithoeken, een restaurant en een snackbar/broodjeszaak. Gasten krjjgen gratis ontbijt. Gasten /em> kunnen tegen betaling parkeren.Het personeel kan op verzoek bedrijfsgerelateerde dienstverleningen en het wisselen van valuta regelen. Elke badkamer heeft bad of douche met een handdouche, make-up-/scheerspiegels en een haardroger. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere koffie/theevoorzieningen en een strijkplank/strijkijzer. Daarnaast wordt dagelijks een huishoudservice aangeboden. Op verzoek zijn voorzieningen als een telefonische wekdienst beschikbaar. In First Hotel G mag niet op de kamers worden gerookt.
Afhankelijk van het beleid van het hotel kan voor extra personen een toeslag in rekening worden gebracht.

Really liked this hotel, right next to the station which is good for the bus to and from the airport. Really quirky hotel, smart comfortable and stylish. Good breakfast facility as well! Good value in Sweden as well as it is a expensive country. Highly recommended!

Great staff, excellent service, excellent location with train,bus and tram service in immediate area. Have stayed here over several year period and there has been no evidence of aging, maintenance is great.

"honesty"
I left a large sum of money in our room , was on the train to oslo before i remembered. called back to hotel G and they were on top of it. They fedex the money back to the UsA with no problems. Cant t say enough good things about their staff . The hotel was clean , quiet, polite and honest. Thanks to everyone at Hotel G.

Well located and walking distance to most sights. Interesting architecture. The hotel is built on top of the main train station. Makes it very innovative. The public places are very modern and upscale looking. The rooms are very nice and confortable. The staff was very charming and helpful.

Have stayed there 4 times before. I really like it, that;s why I come back. It is at the train station so if you are coming or going by train you couldn't be closer but you never hear any train or bus noise. Can be fun watching from the bridge down into the terminal if you like to people watch. Good staff, great breakfast.

The good thing about this hotel is the location. For the price that we had to pay,the room did not live up to our expectation at all. Old Tv and only few channels. We can only find control for floor heating which is useless for the hot summer weather. If there was air condition in the room we did not feel it. Was really happy with this hotel. Got off the bus at the station from the airport and started fumbling round trying to find my map of the hotel. Pulled it out and looked up only to see the hotel right in front of me! Perfect! They let us check in at just after 12pm instead of 3pm as we were early so cant fault that. Room was large and quiet. I stayed here in the run up to and includung new Year's eve. I had a swift and hassle free check in and had also been given a room with a view after i requested it in a phone call some days previously. My room was clean and fresh. I had in the room an ironing board and iron which are vital after unpacking. there was under floor heating throughout. I […] also slept well as the hotel is very quite even though located directly above the train station. I had read in some reviews that breakfeast can be very busy but i had no problems with this. It was always very orderly and pleasant. and a nice breakfeast too. On one evening I decided to have a cocktail at the bar before hitting the town. A nice and friendly girl behind the bar made me a couple of lovely mohito's. !! I have stayed in other hotels in Gothenburg but the First G is far and away the best of them all. Great hotel, right above central train station but absolutely no noise. I have been to this city before and while I was staying at this hotel I have looked at others but because of its location, quiet rooms and excellent breakfast, I always happily return to First Hotel G.

This was my second stay at the First G hotel in Gothenburg and again I was impressed by the comfort of the rooms and the quiteness considering it is situated above a train station. Breakfast is excellent and the staff are very helpful. It is very well located for all Gotherburg has to offer. This hotel is literally over the train station. So very conveineint for train travellers. Hotel has scandenavian decor. I booked as single, given large room with queen size bed. Very nice hotel. Free Internet access. I got nice rate through Hotels.com, so very pleased.

Excellent service, good location but several hotels nearby, genuine value for money option with quality of rooms high plus quite spacious, breakfast, amenities, layout, design all spot on for a city break. Cant get closer to the station - hotel is above it so easy to find! Happy to recommend.

Fint hotell och bra läge. Bemötandet från receptionspersonalen varierade beroende på vem som stod där, men stort plus till barkillen som serverade oss kaffe - mkt fin service! Fint rum, men det som var lite synd var att vårat fönster vette in mot den avlånga innergården, så den enda utsikten vi hade var den och "grannarnas" fönster mittemot, vilket […] gav en känsla av att man bodde i ett skyltfönster. Fick därför ha gardinerna fördragna hela tiden, vilket gav en mkt instängd känsla. Det gick heller inte att öppna ngt fönster, troligtvis pga att fönstret var mot innergården (eller?), men vilket fall så resulterade det i att det snabbt blev kvavt där inne. Kom även lite sent till frukosten, vilket var slarvigt, jag vet, men man kände verkligen irritationen från personalen och vi fick slänga i oss maten för att komma därifrån så snabbt som möjligt. Tycker inte det hade gjort så mkt om vi suttit kvar medan dom plockade bort serveringen, men men. Skulle jag rekommendera hotellet till andra? Både ja och nej. Ja, om ni vill ha nära till centralstationen och femmanhuset osv, och rummet för övrigt var fint och rent. Foajen var extremt mysig att sitta i på kvällen med en kopp kaffe, men nästa gång jag kommer till göteborg kommer jag troligvis att välja ett annat hotell; det finns mysigare och trevligare hotell att bo och att spendera sina pengar på. "Bedrövligt"
Rummen helt värdelöst inredda. Ett dubbelrum, för två, hade som sig bör en dubbelsäng. Saknade dock både bord och fåtöljer. Skrivbord fanns tillika en pinnstol med stoppat säte till det. Tresitssoffan stod i 90 graders vinkel mot platt teven vilket gjorde TV:n svårbetraktad. Vart/hur äter man mat beställd mat från roomservice? Fanns ju ingen stans att […] ställa den eller skall man stå och äta den vid skrivbordet? Allt skall tydligen ske i sängen. Vi fick använda ett nattygsbord som avlastningsbord vilket betydde väldigt hopkrupen sittställning. Sedan till restaurangen. Otroligt dyrt för en svältportion. Såg ett flertal hotellgäster som efter att ha fått in maten tog fran kamera eller mobil för att fotografera eländet då det är svårt att med ord förklara hur liten portionen var. Bodde en natt på First Hotel G i Göteborg i samband med Melodifestivalen 2012. Har enbart positivt att säga om hotellet. Bodde i den enklaste rumstypen men fick ändå ett mycket välutrustat rum, modernt inrett och med sköna sängar, snygga färger och stor platt-tv. Badrummet var fräscht med dusch, sköna handdukar och lyxiga badrumsprodukter. På rummet […] fanns både strykbräda och strykjärn samt möjlighet att fixa kostnadsfritt kaffe och te på rummet. Minibaren var välutrustad och till rimliga priser. Eftersom hotellet var fullbelagt var det mycket folk vid frukosten. Faten var fräscha trots detta. Hotellet informerade vid incheckning och genom anslag i hissarna och infopärmen på rummet vilka tider som det är mest folk i frukostmatsalen, vilket gjorde det enkelt att undvika dessa tider om man skulle önska en lugnare frukost. Att det blir fullt och stimmigt vissa tider är ofrånkomligt på ett så stort hotell och inget som påverkar mitt helhetsintryck av hotellet.
