Express by Holiday Inn Limehouse in Londen

Het hotel is netjes en schoon, maar verwacht geen vijf sterren kwaliteit. Voor ons gezin was het een prima uitvalsbasis om de stad in een paar dagen te bekijken. Metro station DLR Limehouse is op loopafstand en binnen 5 minuten sta je bij de Tower.

Mooie kamer met goede bedden. De receptie zou attenter mogen zijn.

Wij hadden lo geboekt. Echter wij moesten 's ochtend de trein van 6.39 uur hebbe. Een vaak voorkomende trein, want hij sluit aan op de boot naar Nederland. Ontbijt was echter vanaf 07.00 uur. Van te voren gevraagd of er een ontbijtpakket klaar kon staan. Dat was niet gebruikelijk, maar er zou een e-mail gaan naar de peroon die nachtddienst had. Helaas, […] ook voor hem was het verzoek heel ongebruikelijk en had bovendien ook zijn mail niet gelezen. Met ieder twee bekers yoghurt zijn we toen maar op weg gegaan. Goedkope familiekamer met redelijk goed ontbijt. Afgesloten parkeerplaats bij hotel, vanaf Folkestone in 1,5 uur bij hotel. Dichtbij DLR station, met travelcard zones 1,2 snel in centrum van Londen. In buurt van hotel niets te doen, geen restaurants.

good hotel in a creepy location. receptionist was amazing. i didnt get her name though. our hairdryer was not working on our first day which sucks as it was raining that day and there's no way we can dry our shoes. A well priced budget hotel, breakfast included, which was a surprise at the price. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Close to trains (DLR) and an easy trip to the O2.

Five minutes walk from Limehouse Docklands Light Railway station (20 minutes by tube from London Kings Cross). As first time stayers we weren't sure what to expect but the hotel was clean and comfortable for our two night stay. Got a great deal through Hotels.com. The staff were friendly and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. The dining […] area (breakfast only) was clean, spacious and the buffet well stocked. When needing information on eating out, the staff had the information to hand and directed us to an area across the road (Narrow Street) and about five minutes walk to a selection of Italian, Indian and Gordon Ramsey pub food. Settled on the Italian restaurant where the food was plentiful, reasonably priced and very tasty. All told a very pleasant experience for our London weekend break. Lees meer

Hotel was fine for what we required, would recommend to others but only if they wanted decent place to sleep in reasonable proxomity to London centre. Main problem was with communication between Hotels.com and hotel, we booked two DOUBLE room and one TWIN room specifically but when we arrived we were told the information had not been passed to the hotel […] by Hotels.com so we all had TWINS, eventually sorted out after a while at check-in desk, but would have been nice to have ready what we had booked. Bathroom is good with top quality shower and clean, beds are hard and that's OK depending on your preference. We stayed at this hotel for one night in February 2012. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable. However, the price that we paid included a full breakfast, which was bitterly disappointing. The juice was so powdery that you couldn't taste the orange (no choice), the choice of hot breakfast was powdered scrambled […] egg and sausage; the water for tea/coffee was tepid and the croissants were like cardboard. The hotel is not so bad, but during my visit there was something wrong with the heater and the room was really really cold.

Our stay in this hotel was just like we expected. We needed a place to sleep in and we got one. It is good to have the bus station and DLR station so near. I would say the hotel is a bit to far from the the city center, about 40 min in a bus, but we got a good rest on our way to and from the shops so it was ok.

Only stayed for one night,Really good hotel enjoyed my stay,friendly helpful staff,very clean everywhere,good rooms -beds comfortable,great bathroom and nice tv,breakfast included and great!-easy to get to the O2. Would definatly use this hotel again and highly recomend-top end of the three stars for sure.

this hotel was in a good location close to DLR which was essential in travelling into city.the hotel was clean,staff helpful and friendly.the breakfast was ok.i would say this was a good hotel to stay in.

The hotel was lovely, nice & clean but when I rang the hotel I asked how much parking was and they said £8 when it was £10 also when I rang up the foreign lady said we would get a double bed and 2x singles which we didn't we got 2x doubles.

Hotel was conveniently located near the exhibition area. However, the room was very cold and moist. Not very nice during winter time.

A very clean and comfortable hotel. Nice staff and a very good self service basic breakfast. The only issue I had it was a good walking distance from public transport.

This hotel was very clean, great value and had a lovely continental breakfast. Staff were also incredibly helpful. However the location of the hotel was not a great area, its next door to a cement factory and the area by the Limehouse station made me slightly nervous as I was alone with 2 teenage girls. It's also not that close to the 'O2' although […] it came up on my search as being close - it took my about 20 minutes by tube/DLR, and as it was quite a rough area, i paid for a cab back which was £32.00, as I was to nervous to walk back with the kids. I would commend highly this hotel, I really enjoyed my stay. Beware of asking recption for a taxi,they use a private company. I had to go 1.5 miles and payed £12.00 way to much this took the edge off my stay unfortunatley.

I stayed here after an enjoyable nights drinking and eating in Commercial Street and Brick Lane. The hotel is about 450m from Limehouse DLR and it is quick and easy to get back into Central London. Rooms are adequate and clean, breakfast is basic and fairly bland.

A typical budget hotel but let down by a smell of stale smoke in the room and also in a less than appealing location. On the plus side, the Docklands Railway is close by and the hotel is a short taxi ride from the City.

Holiday Inn Limehouse is an ok hotel. It's easy to get to O2, Canary Wharf and city of London by DLR and underground. The receptionists are helpful, and the rooms are clean, - but I must say: The English breakfast is really bad!

Very clean, staff friendly and good quality for the money.

We decided to stay over in London at the very last minute and consequently arrived an hour after making the booking on line. Amazingly our check-in was very smooth and the reception staff efficient and welcoming. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and very adequate. I would definatly stay here again

This is an affordable hotel near the Underground. It is difficult to find from the Limestone Station and there are no places to eat nearby.

Me and my mate stayed at the hotel for one night. We used the hotel as a base to get to the o2 it was perfect. DLR station short walk away under 5mins. Ramseys pub the narrow again is only 5mins away. Hotel in general very good for a cheap hotel room breakfast included which isn't the best but it does the job. Perfect for High Voltage festival - except for the rank odour just as you walk in?? What was that about??!

Good price for value. Good breakfast. Nice staff who gave excellent directions. A little bit of a walk to catch the bus to head into London or for restaurants.

The hotel is a bit far from the city but easily accessible. I was very impressed with the hotel. Our room was very clean and the staff was helpful. I will return to this hotel.

The Express by Holiday Inn Limehouse is a solid hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff and a great breakfast.

Stayed at this hotel on Saturday 12th so that we could go out in a neighbouring area (London Bridge). The staff were super helpful, there was ample parking on arrival, the rooms were clean and quiet. Perfect for what we needed.

Overall the hotel was very good. The staff were friendly and helped us whenever we asked, they provided us with extra pillows and blankets we asked for, directions etc. As a location it is very very close to the Thames, we got to walk on the river bank, and the the spectacular view.It is alos close to the tower of london, the monument, and not far […] from the city of london. It is also very very close to the DLR station *(about 3 minutes away) and there is even a ticket shop to get tickets etc (mind you however the machines for purchasing tickets don't always work) The one thing i didn't like was the surrounding neighborhood. There isn't much to do during the day, and even less in the evenings. There a lot of take aways, but not much of a choice with regards to food either. We booked this hotel because we thought it looked close to the 02 but it isn't. The quickest way is by cab which cost about £16. The staff at reception were good and the room was nice. Breakfast was a free for all as everyone seemed to decend and 9.30am and they quickly ran out of plates! The neighborhood was not what I expected it to be, it was a little rough around the edges. Inside was a pleasant surprise. Check-in took about 3 minutes max and the staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaint is you have to pay for Internet access (pretty much unheard of in the states) and we had intermitent issues on our floor with the router and had to go to the lobby to use it when the router issues would happen. Also, it was difficult to use the wi-fi in this hotel with an iPhone.

Meget fint ophold og venlige, hjælpsomme og imødekommende personale. 2 stationer fra Bank med linien DLR, Limehouse station og 300 m gåtur. Det eneste lille minus var, at der kun er en online PC på hotellet. Der kunne godt have stået et par stykker mere. Flere benyttede den til bordbestilling, åbningstider, alm. søgning, mail osv.Pubben The Grapes 1720 […] lå 500 m væk på Narrow Street, kendt af Dickens.
