Gran Hotel Solucar provided a reasonable price over the Semana Sanata Easter holiday week when all the city center hotels were either sold out or priced too high. We were traveling with 2 children and the hotel provided spacious room; in fact a 2-room upstairs/downstairs studio, big enough for 5-6 people. It was by far the most spacious accomodation […] we stayed in during our trip throughout Spain. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The food at the restaurant was good. There was free wi-fi in the room. The hotel was 10-14 miles from the city center. On our way in the taxi from the Plaza de Armas bus station cost about 30 euros. The day we left, it cost about 58 euros to the Santa Justa train station. We noticed on that day the taxi was running at tariff rate 2.2 or 220% more than the tariff 1 rate. Not sure why that was--perhaps the day of the week (Saturday) and time of the day (7:20 a.m.). There's a bus stop for the M-166 bus right in front of the hotel that takes you to the Plaza de Armas bus station for just 1.5 euro. If you can avoid the taxi, this provides a much more reasonable alternative to high priced city center hotels. Check with the front desk for the bus schedule. I believe it runs on the hour almost all day up to midnight. There's not much near the hotel but we dined at a local restaurant one night and it was decent. If you're on a short stay in Sevilla and will be spending most of your day in town, you could stay in this hotel and catch the bus to town and back. It will save a ton compared to the city center hotel rates. Also, you'll see a little different scenery on your bus rides back and forth through small towns/neighborhoods which is nice. We noticed this throughout Spain that when we were traveling (Easter week), the hotels were still running the heaters or just air but not air conditioners yet. Hotel Solucar is very far from Sevilla. I make reservation for two rooms on May 24, 2011. The employee’s attention is excellent, also the foods, but Hotel condition is depressing. Although the weather was very hot they have not air condition at that time. They told me that they turn on the air condition in June, not before. This hotel is situated approx 40 mins by bus from Seville so to save extra dollars is great as the bus stop is directly outside the hotel....The hotel rooms are fresh clean and newly refurbished, however thankfully there were 2 doors to open for fresh cool air as the air conditioning was not working.....the rest of the hotel looks like it needs a major […] overhaul as has been neglected which is a shame and also there was no water in the pool for a swim at temperatures of 28 degrees...there were plenty of brochures but not put out for the patrons easy access...the staff great however and friendly as was the village which was about a 10 minute walk away with great local food on the other side of the train tracks.... Needed a place to lay my head after arriving on the late flight into Seville with business in Huelva the next morning. Welcoming English Speaking receptionist. Easy to find, 2 minutes from the motorway. Room spotless, recently furnished with nice bathroom and LCD TV with lots of (spanish) channels. Free WiFi. Good Location for us - we spent one day in Seville and visited Cota Donana the next so needed a spot in between. Four star hotel but it has seen better days. The service was good and the staff very friendly and attentive. But the room was too hot and the breakfast was poor - probably the worst hotel breakfast I have had. The eggs, bacon and sausage […] were all stone cold even though we were first in at 7am. The bread and pastries I suspect were a day or two old and had gone a bit stale. Lees meer

Beautiful spacious room with all the amenities. Bus stop to Valencia Center is right out front (only 30 minutes to center). We were able to eat dinner at the buffet prepared for tour groups that was good and very reasonable.

Traveling with kids, this was a great hotel. The size of the room was great and the pool was dirty, but fun for the kids.

Este hotel que se inauguró para la Expo del 92 de Sevilla, siendo bonito, se está cayendo a pedazos, no arreglan los desperfectos, este verano estuve allí y a la piscina le faltaban muchas losas, y en esta estancia la manguera de la ducha estaba rota, y en el pasillo había un agujero.

Mycket trevlig personal och prisvärd frukostbuffé. Bra restaurang på hotellet och gratis parkering. Om man vill besöka Sevilla är det dock viktigt att veta att detta hotell ligger utanför staden och att det tar ca 35 min. med buss in till Sevilla. Liten balkong och det skulle ha funnits bättre information från hotellet om att minibaren på rummet var […] gratis. Lees meer

Bra hotell i utkanten av sevilla med bra bussförbindelser in till stan, hållplats precis bredvid hotellet. Bussen kostade bara 1,50 euro per person in till Sevilla. Parkering för bil gratis utanför hotellet. Pool, fräscha rum och fin service från personalen. Jag rekommenderar detta hotell!

Super roñosos con el champú, sólo te ponen una botellita minúscula de gel y champú a la vez, que no da ni para una ducha. No ponen nada más, ni peine, ni cepillo de dientes, ni nada, tan solo unos pañuelitos. Mucha publicidad de la piscina, y la tenían vacía de agua. Odiosas las escaleras de acceso a la calle, siempre hay que subit como un piso  […] andando. Lees meer

Hotel à recommander uniquement pour les chambres familiales spacieuses en duplex. Son état est franchement viellot , les moquettes le salon le plafond du lobby sont carrément sales ce qui est incroyables pour un soi disant 4 étoiles.

Hotellet hadde bra med parkeringsplass og var lett å finne med GPS i bilen. Duplex-rommet, det vil si rom med hems, hadde god plass til fire voksne. Hvis man får rom mot veien kan kanonslagene, for å holde vekk fuglene fra oliventrærne, virker noe forstyrrende. Trådløs internett virket bra på hele hotellet. Resepsjonen var behjelpelig med kart og forslag […] til steder å besøke i Sevilla. Å ha bil er ett must. Svømmebassenget virket rent og det var ingen trengsel ved bassenget, selv om det ikke var alt for mange solsenger tillgjengelige. Det finnes en kafeteria, hvor en kan få ett enkelt måltid og noe å drikke på kvelden. Det finnes ellers en TexMex restaurant tvers over veien for hotellet. Frokosten var helt OK for en som er vant med en skikkelig frokost. Overnattet i to døgn og kan konkludere med at dette er ett hotell som lever opp til forventningene til ett fire stjernes hotell.
