Er waren veel winkels op de Boardwalk die in wintervakantie waren en pas in maart terug open gingen hier had ik geen rekening mee gehouden, maar heb me ondanks dit wel geamuseerd!

Het hotel ligt nogal ver van het centrum, 3-4 km. Je kunt gebruik maken van de Jitney busjes (tegen betaling van een klein bedrag) die geregeld nabij het hotel stoppen en bij alle belangrijke punten in de stad stoppen. De eigen shuttle reed zo sporadisch dat je de dag moest plannen naar de rijtijden, m.a.w. onpraktisch.... Mijn bezoek was buiten het vakantie seizoen en het was een ""resort"" (timesharing)en de beoordeling moet tegen dat licht bezien worden: de staf was behulpzaam en vriendelijk maar het was niet bijzonder. het gebouw was meer dan 20 jaar oud en dat was op sommige voorzieningen te zien: liften, deuren, toegangscontrolle , garage: oud en/of versleten. De kamer was netjes maar ook hier weer: de badkamer was dringend aan vervanging toe. De kamer was op de 32e verdieping (hoogste) echter de ventilatie op de gang maakte zo''n herrie dat het continu leek of er een sterke wind buiten was. (andere etages hadden dit niet) Kortom een goedkoop hotel met niets speciaals ...

Het hotel bevat alles wat je maar nodig hebt, van Starbucks tot winkels en restaurants. Alles zit in het hotel zelf. Sommige dingen zijn aan de dure kant, maar daar ontkom je zeker in Atlantic City ook niet aan.

goed hotel dicht bij het strand en geen last van casino's of andere gokpaleizen. Ontbijt was uitstekend en het hotel was schoon.

We kenden Ceasars al van Las Vegas, alleen toen was het boven ons budget. Hotels.com had een mooie aanbieding voor Ceasars in Atlantic City en daar zijn we dan ook voor gegaan. In een woord fantastisch. We hadden een kamer met tv in de spiegel in de badkamer, uitzicht op de boardwalk en zee en alles op de kamer wat je maar wenst: koelkast, koffiezetapparaat en lekker beddengoed. Het casino is ruim en mooi opgezet, voldoende keuze in speelkasten. Het zwembad is klein maar met een zee in de buurt hoef je niet meer te hebben. Outletshopping op loopafstand. Een geweldig hotel in een geweldige omgeving.
Ligging.
Comfort Inn Jersey Shore bevindt zich heel handig vlak bij de luchthaven in Galloway. Plaatselijke bezienswaardigheden zijn onder andere Shore Mall, Galloway National Golf Club en Countryclub van Atlantic City. Een andere bezienswaardigheid in de buurt is Racebaan van Atlantic City.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
In openbare ruimtes is een gratis snelle internetverbinding (draadloos en via kabel) beschikbaar. Dit hotel beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen zoals een businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en een technische helpdesk. Gasten krjjgen gratis ontbijt. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een binnenzwembad, meertalig personeel en een open haard in de lobby. Gasten kunnen gratis parkeren.
Hotelkamers.
Comfort Inn Jersey Shore heeft 50 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een gratis krant en een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker. Gasten hebben gratis (draadloos) breedband internet op de kamer. Elke televisie heeft premiumkanalen via de kabel. Alle kamers beschikken over een bureau en een telefoon met meerdere lijnen met voicemail en gratis lokale gesprekken (hiervoor kunnen beperkingen gelden). Elke badkamer is voorzien van een bad/douchecombinatie, een föhn en gratis toiletartikelen.
Elke kamer heeft een magnetron en een koelkast. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een strijkplank/strijkijzer en een klokradio.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.

Great Except for the refrigerator in the room did not work for the two days I was there and although I made a formal request for a change nothing was done.
"Good but bad"
we had a 6am flight to Florida so decided to come a day early and spend the night to be close to the airport. location was great. Staff was great. Sean could not have been nicer. Downside was two phones in room, only one worked. Not all the lights worked and wasn't that clean. Found dirty Q-Tips under bed and next to fridge.
"Decent hotel for the money"
Just two downsides: lousy breakfast service and divided road where hotel is, so you have to make a U-turn when coming back from Atlantic City. The room was clean and big enough.

"suited my needs"
Quiet, clean, accessible.. I don't care too much for the parking esp during a rainy night but there is a back entrance. Reasonable for the money. Id stay here again

we were there during hurricane Irene. The front desk manager was incredible-he worked 26 hrs straight because his relief did not show. hope the company appreciates him.
This was not the Comfort Inn I was looking to stay at, however the room was OK. The staff was very hospitable and accomodating. Overall for a single night's stay it surficed. I thought the accomodations would have been a lot nicer than they were.

Hotel was nice and comfortable. Was disappointing with indoor heated pool because water was chilly. Complained to manager who confirmed that the temperature was set to 86 but admitted that the water felt to chilly to be at 86. Manager said he was going to call the pool guy to take a look. "Service was great, but closet had a slight mold"
The desk clerk was great, very helpful, actually both the night & morning clerks were friendly and helpful. My biggest complaint was the there was a moldy stopper in the tub, and the closet floor was wet, because water leaked all over the place while taking a shower. So the closet wall had a slight accumulation of mold.

"Great Service Needs Maintenance"
The staff was great ,but the hotel needs some repair.I stayed at a four star hotel for less money.The door to our room stuck.It would not open until the third or fourth try.The drains in the tub would not plug for our young child to bathe.The first room we were given stunk. The staff changed our room immediately.

the indoor pool is small but excellent condition, very convenient, excellent continental breakfast. One major problem... the map on the internet, which was provided by outside source, is way off the actual location.

"Stinky Comfort"
A lazy deskclerk. Stinky room without possibility to open the window. The breakfast contained only coffee, toast, sweet marmelades. No eggs, ham or bacon.

"Comfort Inn - Absecon"
The room in general was fine. The dial on the heater/ac didn't work properly, so we had to work at it a little to get it to be the temperature we wanted. The breakfast offerings were just OK and the breakfast area was too small. Most of the food was in a little alcove that fit no more than 3 people. It was very congested and new people had to wait […] for some time before they could get something to eat. Some people went back to their rooms and came back later. If you thought you could pop down there and grab something quickly, you would not have been able to do that. They only put out one big bottle of syrup, so some people had to search for it when they needed it. The plastic utensils were the cheapest ones available and were less than wonderful. "Comfort Inn - Absecon, NJ"
Absecon is very safe from what we learned and experienced while we were there. Our main priority is safety since we have two young children. The room was a bit smaller than I had hoped for due to a square desk taking up a corner worth. We were not able to comfortably fit a pack and play in the room but made it work with lots of blankets and pillows […] on one of the beds. As far as getting to and from the hotel, it was not a big deal either way. With the rest of NJ being terribly cruel to drivers from out of state, I didn't find it a big deal to go one mile out of my way to make the uturn to get back into the parking lot. And my last thing is that Jenny from housekeeping was the sweetest woman ever and made sure our room was stocked, clean and went out of her way to make sure we had a great stay for 4 days. And she was great with our kids and my kids enjoyed her while she was around. - Overall, I would recommend to family and friends. Lees meer
"Hotel is nice but not as close as you think"
The hotel is great, clean and one of the nicer comfort inns but if you believe you are 3.3 miles away, you will be a little dissapointed. You are more like 10-12 miles away.

"not bad..."
The Hotel is fine. its not fancy, its not a dump either. I feel I paid too much, but realize I was paying prime rate for a summer weekend that close to AC. I would rate it higher, but was very disappointed that the towels in my no smoking room reeked of smoke. reeked. it was gross for a non smoker. The room didnt smell at all and all the other linens […] seemed fine, just the towels. Lees meer

The room was very clean and modern. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Refrigerator and microwave in the room was a nice touch. The hotel is approx 15 minutes from the casinos. Breakfast was a disappointment. The breakfast area was very small and congested. There was not enough food for the amount of people having breakfast. "Great roo, for the money"
I like this hotels for the deal that i got for it. It was a couple of things in this room that i didnt like. For one it was a bag behind the bed with some lube in it allows with other things that did not belong to me and also the remote control had tape in the back of it to keep the batteries in. Other then that the hotel was good. The front desk man […] was alittle bite to friendly ( if u know what i mean). Overall i give this hotel 4 star.. Lees meer

"Comfort Inn Absecon"
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It was very clean and extremely comfortable. The room has a mini refrigerator and a microwave, a nice sized tv and a pretty decent mattress. The reception are and breakfast nook were bright, clean and in good shape. There is a pool and a fitness center (there are only 3 pieces of equipment though LOL...a treadmill, […] an elliptical machine and a stationary bike-I think). It's only about a 5-10 minute drive to Atlantic city from the hotel and it is on the same street-White Horse Pike...so the chances of getting lost are slim or next to none. One drawback is that anytime you want to make a left turn on White Horse to get across the street, you have to make a right turn onto some type of u-turn lane in order to get to the other side. If you are in the wron lane and can't get over or if you miss that particular u turn turnaround, you have to drive pretty far to come to another one. Given that this particular hotel is at the beginning of the strip, if you miss the u turn turnaround (not sure what else to call it) you are going to be in trouble. Other than that the stay was nice and I would definitely stay there again. Lees meer
"great rooms"
We booked two rooms and the staff gave us adjoining wich was a plus for us. since we had our daughter and grandkids with usbut booked into a seperate room. were a little dissapointed that our rooms both had whirlpool baths but they did not work. otherwise the hotel was clean, roomy, and the staff was very friendly.
