Fantastisch centraal gelegen hotel. Vanuit het hotel zijn alle toeristische attracties goed te belopen. Bovendien bevindt zich 20 meter vanaf het hotel de ingang naar de metro (blue line), zodat ook verderweg gelegen locaties makkelijk te bereiken zijn. De staf van het hotel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. In de lobby staat 24 uur perdag koffie klaar; […] de Amerikaanse variant, dus daar moet je wel van houden. Er wordt geen ontbijt geserveerd, maar op loopafstand zijn voldoende mogelijkheden om voor weinig geld stevig te ontbijten. Ik had een zeer grote kamer met kingsize bed en verder van alle gemakken voorzien: mooie badkamer, grote tv en een geluidsinstallatie. De kamer had geen raam naar buiten toe. Het voordeel daarvan is dat je absoluut geen last van lawaai hebt. Een nadeel is dat je geen idee hebt wat voor weer het is en dat je altijd het licht aan moet hebben. De airco is wat lawaaierig, maar als je hem uitzet wordt het wat benauwd. Ik denk dat ik een volgende keer voor een kamer met raam aan de buitenkant zou kiezen. Bij een volgend bezoek aan Boston zou ik dit hotel zeker weer overwegen. Lees meer

simpel hotel, interessant gelegen als uitvalspunt voor bezoek van de stad, comfort van de kamer ok, maar zicht naar buiten beperkt.

I stay there whenever I can get a price discount on the room. Wonderful place and a perfect location.

We booked a room with a queen bed, instead got a double. .At 2am we were woking to a large crowd out side that was very loud and at 7am they started to clean windows.

This is a must hotel to stay in Boston if you prefer habor side.

This Hotel was 100% what we were looking for. It was in a PERFECT location, 1 block to Fennial Hall, Quincy market and the Harbor. The Old Trolley Tour was also just across the street. We parked just 2 blocks away at 75 State Street and got 20% off because we stayed at Harborside in. Just remember to have them(the hotel) stamp your ticket for the garage. […] The room was a perfect size and the bathroom was new an updated. We had an interior room. It was perfect for what we needed because even though we did not have a view we spent hardly anytime in the room. The staff was very helpful and there was coffee and tea available 24/7 in the lobby. There was no food in the hotel but a bar right next door as wall as a 24/7 market right on the corner. My only complaint was the pillows. The got super flat when you put your head on them. So maybe bring a pillow you like. But all in all 100% from me!!! Will defiantly stay again as long as the rate is good. Lees meer

Great location - near to Fanueil Hall, Quincy Market, Long Wharf, Aquarium. Short taxi ride to North End (or long walk on a warm day). Very modern room and modern decor added to the fun of the trip.

Harborside is built around a narrow central atrium, so my room had a windo on to the atrium, but not to the outside.The room was very large, and fairly nice. Not distinctive enough to qualify as "boutique," but not standard issue generic hotel room either. The room included a hi-fi stero receiver and a DVD player, two nice amenities that I didn't expect. […] The staff was friendly. The lobby is small and somewhat odd, but may be going through a refresh...there were signs of construction under way. The location is a very short distance from the Aquarium, the Greenway and Quincy Market and a short, pleasant walk away from Boston Common, the State House, etc. Good headuarters for a visit, but not a destination hotel. Easy access to airport by T. Easy walking distance to tourist sights. Lobby was being renovated.

It was fabulous. The location could not possibly be better.The staff was friendly. The bed was so comfortable we didn't want to leave.

GREAT location just steps from Quincy Market, very pleasant staff, super clean room, nothing too fancy but really comfortable bed. Would DEF. stay here again!

The hotel was close to Quincy Mkt., very convenient. The room was bigger than expected and had a nice cozy feel with two brick walls. Very clean and felt more like an apartment than conventional rooms in the city. Very pleased overall!

This is a great location for seeing all the sights of Boston. Subway stop right outside the hotel lobby makes it super easy to see everything. Short walk to Quincy Market and to the harbor and aquarium. The hotel lobby was in the middle of a renovation, so it was kind of a mess, but the Hotel staff was super nice, extremely helpful and friendly. Even […] though there were workers present, they let guests pass without running loud or interfering equipment. In short, we were surprised when we walked into a lobby under construction, but the cleanliness and comfort of the room and the friendliness of the staff made up for the slight disappointment. Very convenient location - walking distance to all the sights. Friendly staff, recently refurbished and the lobby is currently under renovation. Loved the 24 hour access to tea & coffee, as well as free Internet and printer- great for needing to print out last minute boarding passes etc.

Stayed in downtown Boston half a dozen times. Best hotel so far for quality, staff, price and LOCATION. Thank you!

Lobby is under construction but it's not a problem. Location is great right by the Aquarium T and Quincy market. Everything closes early though, like most of Boston. The room was great except there's not a whole lot of natural light bc the windows face the indoor atrium but that's no reason not to stay! I would recommend.

Would definitely stay on our next trip. We came to Boston for weekend to rent bikes and cycle around. Bike rental shop was 5 min away and hotel was convenient to everything. Friendly staff, they let us bring our bikes in over night too! :-)

If you are going to read this - read ALL of it, please. Firstly, the hotel was being renovated - apparently this does not impact on guests - don't know if I'd agree with that one. The rooms are very attractive - very strange the way the look onto the atrium - which means you pretty much have to keep your blinds shut all of the time for any privacy & […] hence don't maintain track of time of day. It's well located & the self-parking isn't too expensive. So what's my problem... the front desk staff! I spend around 30 nights a year in hotels in the US (travelling from Scotland) & in all of those hotels - these are the most unhelpful. They were polite - that was it - absolutely no more. they weren't in any way helpful. I asked if there was any possibility of a late check out since we had a really late flight - was told 'not really sure, it'll depend' - if that's the kind of answer they regard as service... I spoke to a few different people during my time there & really didn't get any kind of enthusiastic service. They check you in, give you a key & then it was 'get on with it' - no offer of help to your room, etc. This was quite an expencive hotel that gained really good reviews - so I was completely disappointed with our stay here. We had an excellent stay at the Harborside Inn. We've stayed in Boston before so we knew we wanted to be in this area as it's ideal for Quincy Market & lots of good bars & restaurants. The hotel is really nice, friendly staff & a good sized comfy room.

Great location. Affordable. Clean. Quiet. Would stay again.

We stayed over Good Friday night for a convention. The hotel is very nice. We did not experience any problems with the renovation that other reviewers are talking about. The room was recently refurbished and bigger than I had anticipated.

Hotel near many great places. Walking distance to Fanueil Hall area, Waterfront, TD Garden. Hotel lobby being worked on, but minor distraction. We got a Atrium veiw room. Room faces interior, looking down into lobby area. Room comfortable, but dark with no outside window. Nice bathroom. The only disappointing part of our stay was the bed was extremely uncomfortable. We both had backaches when we got up in the morning.

Hotel is very close to Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall and a great location. Lack of valet parking was a surprise but not a problem on a pleasant April day with little luggage but winter would present issues. Nice hotel, conveniently located, pleasant decor, quaint lobby. There are several PCs in the lobby with internet access to check email, reservations, etc. Wireless internet access in rooms was very good. Rooms were well equipped and comfortable. I liked the 'old school' key - yes a metal key with a small silver keychain that had the room number etched […] in it. The floorboards in the hallway and my room creaked, perhaps due to having 'authentic' flooring in a building likely 100+ years old. I could do without the squeaking, but it didn't bother me too much. The hotel is located in a central area, close to the Quincy Market, food court and shopping! Most of the tour buses have stop nearby

We had heard this hotel was small but great. We agree. We'll definately stay there again. Our room had just been beautifully recorated. Drawbacks? Parking - short walk from hotel - no valet. Not a deal breaker for us though. Highly recommend

This is a good, comfortable hotel v.close to Long Wharf and so v. convenient for that side of the city. Limited access to TV channels in room other than the truly grim US TV (ie mainly advertising) stations. Like many hotels in the US it doesn't provide breakfast but it does have a hot drinks making facility. Providing breakfast would make it even […] better. Would stay here again Lees meer

Location is great. There's a T station few steps away from the hotel. Quincy mkt is a short 5mins walk. Free wifi, free coffee and tea at the lobby. Room is cosy and nice though there's not much of a view.

NO FRILLS CLEAN HOTEL IN GREAT LOCATION RIGHT IN FANUEIL HALL ,NORTH END AND WHARF

This hotel has average size rooms, few amenities and the lobby was under construction while I was there. I spent a week in a single and it was extremely comfortable. great location near the aquarium.

Great hotel in financial district convenient to harbor and Quincy market. T train located outside front door. Several nice steak, seafood and Irish pubs nearby. I've stayed here 10+ times, and the hilton on 89 broad street around the corner. Harborside Inn is about a hundred bucks cheaper and just as nice. Two downsides - no restaurant in the building […] (but plenty nearby), and only one bed per room. Free coffee and couple of internet access computers w/printer in the lobby. Recently stayed at the Harborside Inn for a weekend trip to Boston with my boyfriend and was pleasantly surprised! Nice and clean room interiors, friendly staff, and a great location! They were renovating the lobby at the time so it wasn't great looking but I'm positive it will look great in the end. The Harborside Inn is right outside the Aquarium […] T stop so if you want to hop on the train you have no problem. It's surrounded by plenty of bars/pubs (some are better than others - I recommend The Black Rose if you're looking for a traditional Irish place) and is a close walk to the North End which is full of great Italian resturants! It's also across the street from Fanueil Hall (offering plenty of shopping) and a part of the Freedom Trail. One of the things we appreciated most was the parking discount offered with our stay in conjunction with a nearby parking garage, which was great considering parking on the street would have been very difficult and a little tedious. Overall, if you are looking for a place at a reasonable price in a great location then the Harborside Inn is it! I definitely would recommend it to family and friends and look forward to a return trip. Lees meer
