vanwege orkaan Irene waren wij hier korter dan gepland maar bij een herkansing is keuze opnieuw voor dit hotel (zeer) waarschijnlijk. vooral de locatie is zeer aantrekkelijk

"Gilbert BB"
The B&B was located very well for trips to cape cod, martha's vineyard, new port and providence. The owners are very friendly and you can enjoy a nice breakfast with the feeling of an american family in the morning.

"Gilbert's B&B--the middle of nowhere"
I booked this B&B when I was looking for lodging in and around Newport, RI. It stated 14 mi from Newport City Center but it was more like twice that. It was in Rehoboth but I didn't know that was in Massachusetts until I got the confirmation! To me it was in the middle of nowhere and should not have been listed under Newport, RI. We got lost coming […] back from Newport in spite of the Garmin and finally got there about 11pm but a light had been left on for us. And then we found that we had a shared bath which the website did not tell me. But...I did feel that it was a good value for the $$. The innkeepers were very hospitable. The hosts were very hospitable and we really felt like we were home and nothing's better than a nice home cooked breakfast in the morning waking up to a beautiful natural scenery.

This B&B is in a most beautiful setting, surrounded by woodlands and farmland. Clean, comfortable and friendly, it gave us a wlecome break from the city and the tfaffic. Highly recommended.

"A wonderful experience"
This is the definition of the perfect bed and breakfast. These folks are just wonderful, polite ready to tend to your every wish. Mrs Gilbert made a delicious breadfast ! The morning was full of interesting and fun conversations. This is definetely going to become my point of stay in the neaerby Newport area.
The Gilbert Tree Farm B & B was a beautiful, relaxing stay. Quiet, friendly, clean. Will return if I'm ever back in that area.
Although we arrived late at night we wher expected very nice. The sorounding is beautifull. Breakfast was very good. When you wake up in the morning the only thing you can hear are the voices of birds. We liked it very much.

We had a great time staying at Gilbert's B&B. It's a beautiful, old house out in a gorgeous country area of Mass. Breakfast was delicious and the other guest and host were a delight to meet.

"Gilbert Tree Farm Bed and Breakfast"
We loved our stay at Gilberts. Our hosts, Jean and Don, were just great and enjoyed sharing conversation with their guests.. The rooms are quite comfortable---not huge---but great beds and the breakfasts are good and made even better by the hospitlaity of the hosts, The surroundings are quite scenic with lots of verdant pastures. You know you are in […] New England and right around the corner is a one room school house that is considered the birthplace of public education in the United States. There are even some hisotircal cemetaries close by for those who like to get a feel for what Rehoboth was like 200 years ago. We saw some wild turkeys while we were walking there but the main wildlife at Gilberts are the hosts pet cats which inhabit the outside areas of the residence---not inside cats. Great place. We only stayed for a single night, but really enjoyed our stay here. The house was so charming, and the surroundings simply beautiful. Our hosts were lovely! Is definitely staying here on our next trip. Observe, this B&B is located in Rehoboth, MA and not in Rhode Island, like our GPS kept telling us, sending us in the wrong direction.
