Four Points by Sheraton Manhattan - Chelsea in New York

de prijs was behoorlijk aan de hoge kant maar dat kwam misschien omdat we laat geboekt hadden. de kamers waren erg klein wij konden geen 2 koffers neerleggen op de grond. Vier dagen in New York, dan hoef ik niet in een superdeluxe hotel te zitten. Belangrijk is vooral: waar zit het hotel en is het er een beetje netjes? De locatie is in orde. 25th street is niet de meest knusse straat van de stad, maar drie metrostation zijn (praktisch) om de hoek en te voet ben je heel snel zowel uptown (Times Square, Union Square)als […] downtown (Greenwich, West Village). Gelegenheid tot ontbijten, shoppen en films is er ook voldoende: alles zit in de buurt. Hotel zelf is keurig en nieuw. Net iets beter dan basic. Als je door je wimpers heen kijkt, lijkt het soms een heel klein beetje design. Op tripadvisor benadrukt iedereen de kleine kamers, maar dat valt best mee, de kamers zijn prima van formaat, de bedden zijn enorm en goed, er is zelfs nog ruimte voor een loungestoel. Geluidsoverlast, een probleem voor sommige hotels in NY, is er helemaal niet. Het hotel is hoog, maar de verdiepingen zijn met acht kamers per stuk klein en de boel is behoorlijk geisoleerd. Prijs kwaliteitverhouding is goed in orde: ik heb vaak duurder gezeten in NY. Voor een mindere kamer/locatie. Vier nachten waren goed van prijs, onze verlening (twee nachten extra wegens de vulkaanaswolk) was iets duurder, maar niet schandalig. Het personeel was geinteresseerd en hielp bij het oplossen van problemen. Internet in de lobby was een uitkomst bij de vele mailtjes naar de KLM. Great location and decent size rooms. All in all does not offer as much as comparable hotels in same category and area.

We had a great stay here- no problems at all. Rooms were a little on the small side, but I'm told that's to be expected in New York. Service was fantastic- anything we needed was sent up within ten minutes. Cupcakes upon arrival were a very nice touch (and delicious!). Rates were very reasonable. I would definitely stay here again.

I have been staying here for the past 6 years for business-- often weekly. The staff is pleasant and informed. Rooms clean and of comfortable size. And the beds soft and inviting. I hope it doesnt get too popular as I often try to get a room at the last moment!

The walls were thin and not sound absorbing. For 2 nights I did not get any sleep because I heard my neighbors fighting and other people partying from 1 to 5 AM! One of the elevators was out of service and the wait for the remaining one was long.

You will not not be disappointed. Great service and accommodations. Excellent location to everything. Great price for NYC.

A decent sized room with double beds with nice bedding, enough storage. Hotel well located in Chelsea neighborhood. Friendly staff and included breakfast. A good value for MYC.

Very cute hotel in the middle of Chelsea. Easy to get to with clean rooms and exeptionally accomodating. Switched floors for my 12 yo son at the last minute. Extremely nice and warm.

We arrived in NYC by train for one day to attend an event at MSG. This hotel was a short 7 blocks from Penn Station and had a wide assortment of eateries, etc. nearby. The hotel staff was very pleasant and eager to assist. We look forward to another event in NYC so that we can visit again!

Hotel is a great price, and centrally located enough to be a good option that is close enough to shopping, etc. subway is about 2 blocks away. Standard nice beds and finishes you expect in a Sheraton. Found the rooms to be of decent size compared to many other NYC hotels I have stayed at. Street is quiet enough that road noise was not a problem.

Excellent location and great service

Not exactly in the heart of Chelsea, but there were plenty of options for restaurants and the subway is a block away. Close to buses and trains if you don't mind 10-15 minute walk. They let us check in early, and they were gracious about our slightly late check out. Offered cupcakes when we arrived. Nice staff. Good breakfast even with the restaurant under a remodel. Clean and comfy room. I'd stay there again.

Much better than other hotels I've stayed at in NYC. My main issue was the window wouldn't close tight so the outside noise came in freely. Also, the thermostat on the heat seemed to be in disrepair. It was either hot or cold in the room.

Check-in was very smooth. Loved that they gave me a "Welcome" cupcake from a local bakery. It was delicious. Rooms are small, but comfortable. Neighborhood is good with several nice places to eat. Whole Foods market across the street is an easy stop for coffee and some breakfast in the morning. Subway stops nearby.

We spent 3 nights at Four Points the week between Christman and New Years. We live in the Jersey suburbs, so we are not typical tourists and did not need any tourist info. We have no complaints whatsoever about our stay: The hotel, our room, and the staff were wonderful. The Chelsea location on a quiet block near both the 7th Ave and 8th Ave subways […] was also great. This hotel was awesome and we had a blast raging it there over new years!!!

Great location, very central. Easy access to subway, & found it easy to walk places. Room was quite small but expect that in NY. View from room was fantastic. Our room was close to the laundry, so you could hear the machines going late at night, but was ok. Would stay here again. :-)

Found the pricing and location to be quite attractive and the staff to be responsive, friendly and helpful. I'd definitely return!

Hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance to major attractions in a quaint neighborhood with lots of food options, coffee shops and convience stores. Would definetly stay there again. Few steps to local subway and bus stops and shuttle to and from the airport.

I only stayed about 7 hours in this hotel, as part of a business trip. The front desk person was very helpful, they set me up with an interior room which was nice, quite and clean. I would definitely stay here again. Great location.

The hotel was clean and quiet and the room and beds were comfortable. The staff were helpful and we enjoyed the free cupcakes given to us at check-in. Will definetly stay at same location in the future!

Overall the hotel was decent, but some guests weren't. They had loud late night parties. I was too tired to care, and can sleep through noise. Bt most people would have been bothered. The hotel was clean enough, comfortable enough.

Hotel stay was great! Clean, friendly staff, nice room. Only problem was the poor breakfast we ate at the restaurant inside the hotel. We were the only people in the place and it took 45 minutes to get cold eggs. Sent them back and 20 minutes later they came back with the same cold eggs. I do not recommend eating there!

The rooms are very tight. It's NYC, so it's expected, but should be noted if you plan to cram a few people into a room.

The Hotel is convienent near Corner of 7th Ave. We able to check in am early without requesting due to availabilty. Room was small but cofortable and affordable. Walking distance to Penn Station. I would stay again.

The thermostat was located near the window with a desk in front of it., very incoveniently located, had to climb on desk to adjust. In the morning I tried to take a shower and found out there was no water pressure, had to settle to wash with washcloths.

I really enjoyed staying at the Sheraton Four Points in Chelsea. My room was comfortable, especially the easy chair. The location was excellent. It was easy to grab a cab, to walk, and to grab an inexpensive meal at Whole Foods across the street. The price was right for my company and yet it was still a great place to stay.

As former residents of Chelsea, we love the neighborhood & downtown vibe. And it is easy to catch subways to just about any where (3 different lines with one block). Convenience aside, the hotel seems like it has seen its better days. The room we received was in the back despite being promised a "City View" when we reserved it. But we kept it knowing […] we there would be less street noise. Unfortunately, the wall unit air conditioner was noisy and the room was just okay. The highlight was the comfy bed. There are always tradeoffs in NYC - there are better boutique hotels for the same price but less convenient to public transportation. There are other similar hotels in the neighborhood before I would go back to this one. Lees meer

For the price the rooms are VERY small. There is barely enough room for the bed and the view of the brick wall next door was less than inviting. Also the phone did not work, making the room service menu somewhat redundant and our door was almost completely blocked by the ice machine. Very nice hotel, this makes the 2nd time we have stayed there. Convenient to the things we do in NYC.

There is resturant on the back of my room causing a lot of noise i had hard time to sleep at night.

Staff was outstanding. They even gave us a free meal to make up for the bad weather thay we experienced. I call that above and beyond service!!

Good location, slightly shabby with slow elevators. Rooms are small, bathrooms need upgrading. Food is good.

Very comfortable room, although not luxurious or large. Staff extremely helpful and friendly, really went out of their way. Exceptionally fine beds, everything worked well, although desk etc. are a bit worn. Good, free, wireless. Wonderful location.
