Hotel Residenz City ligt heel handig vlak bij de luchthaven in het hartje van Düsseldorf, dicht bij Goethe-Museum, Stadhuis en Museum Kunst Palast. In de buurt liggen ook Rijntoren en Der Neue Zollhoff.

Gasten krijgen gratis ontbijt. Naast meertalig personeel en een cadeaushop of kiosk heeft Hotel Residenz City voorzieningen als een wasserij. Alle openbare ruimtes zijn uitgerust met een snelle internetverbinding (via kabel), die je tegen betaling kan gebruiken. Extra voorzieningen in deze accommodatie in Beaux Arts-stijl zijn onder andere gratis kranten in de lobby, een stomerij-/wasserijservice en een safeloket bij de receptie. Gasten kunnen tegen betaling parkeren. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie.

Elke kamer biedt uitzicht op de stad. Hotel Residenz City heeft 35 kamers met een minibar en een gratis krant. Alle bedden hebben een Select Comfort-matras met donsdekens en premium beddengoed. Bij betaling kan een snelle internetverbinding (via kabel) worden aangeboden. Elke accommodatie biedt een bureau, een kluis en een telefoon met directe buitenlijn. Elke badkamer heeft douches met een handdouche, make-up/scheerspiegels en een föhn.
Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere openslaande ramen en een klokradio. Bovendien kun je op verzoek gebruikmaken van voorzieningen zoals een strijkplank/strijkijzer, hypoallergeen beddengoed en extra handdoeken/beddengoed. Een huishoudservice is dagelijks beschikbaar. Op de kamers van Hotel Residenz City mag niet worden gerookt. De renovatie van alle kamers werd in juni 2011 voltooid.

Uitstekend en zeer comfortabel hotel. Wel even uitrekenen of de park-sleep-fly deal wel zo'n goede deal is: ontbijt bleek niet inbegrepen en de shuttle service geldt allen van hotel naar vliegveld, niet andersom. Dat kost je dan toch weer een taxi.

"Residenz hotel Duesseldorf"
Het gastvrije hotel met een uitstekend ontbijtservice ligt aan een druk kruispunt vlakbij het Hauptbahnhof en metrostation. Ondanks de ligging geen overlast van het wegverkeer. De goedkoopste kamers zijn klein maar wel schoon en volledig. Ondanks de complete bezetting van het hotel was dit niet te merken. De parkeergarage is gelegen aan de overkant […] van de straat en hanteert redelijke tarieven voor een grote stad.Buiten de kerstmarkt zijn er bij een verblijf van enkele dagen tal van andere redenen om een bezoek aan deze stad te brengen. Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen K20 Grabbeplatz en het Hetjensmuseum/Deutsches Keramikmuseum zijn meer dan alleen de moeite van een bezoek waard.Een eyeopener was een bezoek aan Museum Insel Hombroich en Raketenstation Hombroich vlak bij Neuss war bij de laatste een schitterend collectie van de Langen Foundation is ondergebracht. het hotel is goed ,het ontbijt goed gezellige ontbijtkamer ,maar geen personeel s,nachts ,dus wij hadden overlast van savonds half elf ,tot smorgens 7 uur en kan je niemand bereiken dus erg vervelend .Toen smorgens om 7 uur het personeel kwam gelijk politie gebeld stil,savonds zonder muziek maar begond die man, zonder muziek te zingen ,wat een kattegejank […] ,hoop dat de eigenaar er snel wat aan doet want dit kost klanten ,ik had mijn tel.nummer gegeven maar hij heeft nog niet gebeld ,jammer ga zo niet meer terug ! Fantastisch ontbijt. Grappige lift aan buitenkant van het hotel. Vriendelijk (sommige nederlands) personeel. Parkeergarage op 50 meter. 20/25 minuten lopen naar centrum en altstad. Nette kamer. 5 minuten naar station.

"My 3 days stay"
This was a very good hotel compare to *** hotels. My room was a littlle beat too small but very clean & furnished nicely! The breakfast was very good & the area was clean & nice. Best thing beside the fare price was The owner who is the manager of the hotel. He is a real gentleman. Very welcoming & helpful when eeded!

We booked this hotel for 2 nights having read the reviews about it on hotels.com. I can say that our stay was very comfortable.The rooms were clean and well maintained.There was free tea and coffee available all day and the breakfast was superb considering the price of the hotel.The staff on reception were excellent and of great help and more than accomodating […] with their assistance. It is about a 15 minute walk from the Ko and old town however there are plenty of shops on route. Without a doubt this is the best value hotel I have stayed at and wouldnt hesitate to stay again upon returning to dusseldorf.It is about 2 minutes away from central station for all bus and train travel. As mentioned in previous posts the only possible down side is that its on a main road and there is traffic noise however we never found this a problem at all.Highy recommended. Lees meer

I had a two night stay at the Hotel Residenz. Just around the corner from the main rail station & within easy reach of the City Centre. Very clean rooms & staff on hand if you have any problems. Hotel staff (front desk and breakfast room attendant) very friendly and knowledgeble about local attractions. I arrived at this hotel from airport via S11 train to Dusseldorf Hbf station (main station). No need to take the sky train at the airport to the station where you can also take the S1 to Dusseldorf Hbf because the S11 train is located walking […] distance from where you pick up your luggage (station entrance is opposite to McDonalds with escalator going underground). Paid only 2.30 Euro for train ride. Hotel room was a little shocker to me when I entered (mind you I am accustomed to larger rooms and travel with my family as opposed to travelling alone this time). Single bed ...very small room but cosy and comfortable for the night. I usually don't complain about noise but this is the first hotel ever where I was aware of outside traffic and actually had to shut the window to be able to sleep. I instead opened my bathroom window and closed door for circulation in the room. I was able to purchase travel card at this hotel. Travelling to this hotel from Dusseldorf Hbf by walking I did get lost and wandered about unnecessarily with my suitcase even though the walk is only about 13 min long. From main entrance at the train station turn right and when you get to the traffic lights it gets tricky. You have to curve right to cross the road (but i kept walking along the curve and under the small overpass) after crossing, you have to curve left and then cross again to get to the hotel...my google map was even confusing for me lol. Hop on Hop off bus is located right across the train station (get out main entrance and cross the road at the lights and turn right ...head in direction of tourist info). Breakfast room was very clean presented nicely. Food consisted on different breads, cheese, meats , cereals and fruits and hard boiled eggs. Juices and tea and coffee was also available. The elevator is fun with glass walls to provide a view - though very slow. The location is an easy walk to the main train station which provides easy access to the Messe for conventions.

This hotel was awful. The carpet was wet and covered with mildew. The smell was overpowering when I walked in and they would not allow us to change rooms. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
"good value, convenient location"
The Residenz Hotel is very conveniently placed near the station in Dusseldorf. At a reasonable price the rooms are fine and so is the breakfast - the hotel is well run. Main disadvantage is the noise of traffic outside: it's best to keep the windows shut, which is fine in winter but not so good in summer.

The Residenz Hotel is located only a hundred metres or so from the Dusseldorf Station, which is very convenient. However the area felt a little dodgy, and we would not have felt safe venturing out along after dark. The rooms were fine - the decor is very dated, but they were clean, and had all the facilities we required. There's a main tram stop right at Worringer Platz, from where you can get to most interesting locations in 20 minutes. It is very clean but basic, we definately got more than what we paid for with excellent service. 2 complaints would be the noise of traffic but if your a heavy sleeper not a problem! It was very hot in Dusseldorf at the beginning of July a 37 degrees but this is unusual, due to this the room was very hot but the hotel […] supplied a small fan free of charge and opened the windows as wide as possible for us. 1 tip if you want fresh towels leave the dirty ones in a pile on the floor! 5 - 10 mins walk from the main station which is great for getting to Altstadt the place to be! "Hotel Residenz City à Düsselforf , :)"
J'ai apprécié cet hôtel. La chambre était belle, propre et très agréable. L'accueil était sympathique, le personnel parlait allemand et anglais. Il y avait des prospectus sur la ville à disposition, ce qui est très bien quand l'office du tourisme est fermé ! Le petit déjeuner était bien. Je vous conseille cet hôtel !

"Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt"
Für diesen tollen Preis darf man nicht mehr erwarten. Es war alles in allem wirklich ok.. Im Bad hat es etwas muffig gerochen, was man aber nach 5 Minuten nicht mehr wahrgenommen hat. Frühstück wirklich voll ausreichend.. für ein bis zwei Nächte unproblematisch!

Prisvärt, bra läge nära Hauptbahnhof och mittelstadt. Frukosten var bra men madrasserna var lite väl hårda. Rekommenderas!
