Chase Suite Hotel Des Moines in Clive

Although it looked like an older suite hotel the atmosphere and appearance was very likeable. It was tucked back away from main roads which provided a quiet neighborhood. Decent property.. Definitely inneed of updating.

It was very pleasant. It felt like my very own apartment with the full kitchen and living area! Just 10 minutes from downtown for a great deal!

My only observation (not complaint) is that this is not a new building. But the location was great (walked to dinner both nights). Rooms (2 travelers in 2 different style rooms) were both LARGE & CLEAN. The staff was more than friendly. They have free snacks & drinks weeknights as well as a decent breakfast every morning. It was perfect for the weekend friends get-away---lots of room, walking distance to several restaurants, close to both malls. It's like staying in a timeshare unit.

Oh my goodness, this was such a treat for me to stay at Chase Suites in Des Moines Iowa. I was greeted with the utmost professionalism and care. I went to my room, and it was beautiful, clean, welcoming and cozy. The bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was fresh, well stocked and the service was perfect. The employees were helpful, considerate, and professional. […] It is obvious that each employee loves their jobs. This was the best experience at a hotel I have ever had. I have stayed at some of the top hotels in Las Vegas and this by far was the best. The only thing I would recommend is to supply ear plugs for the rooms that back the highway. Thank you Chase Hotels! Nice room. Had a fireplace, but it didn't work. We stayed two nights, and my in room coffee pot was taken and not returned. Like having a full kitchen, but need to have dish soap available. Also, ice maker did not work.

Dollar for dollar these guys were great! Nice large, comfortable rooms. Would suggest to anyone on a budget when traveling.

This was a good value for the rate. We were given a choice of what floor we wanted which was helpful in that we had a little dog. There was an additional $10,.00 charge for the dog that was not stated when the reservation was made. Breakfast was good with hot scrambled eggs.

This is my 2nd recent stay so shame on me to think they had changed. Key didnt work. Again. long walk with heavy bags from bad parking access to second floor no elevator. Should be a one star hotel til things change. Poorly trained staff

This hotel was by far one of the best I have seen in the Des Moines Area. My husband and I were very pleased. The rooms were stocked with a fridge, sink, stove, and microwave. The only bad thing was we could hear the interstate since we were right by it. However, I think if we were to have a different location of the hotel, we would have been just  […] fine. Lees meer

Not too far from the mall and the interstate. Nice big rooms with all the amenities. Very clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly and gave us early check in and late check out because they weren't too busy.

Very affordable room for the ammenities that it came with.

We got a free upgrade to a penthouse and it was huge, everything seemed clean and it was very nice having a full Kitchen. Could use a bit of updating, but still very good service and enjoyable stay.

Highway noise was minimal and that was the only thing that I can even think of that wasn't exceptional. Wifi was strong, manager reception was excellent, breakfast was top notch and the front desk staff was great... Meghan was a delight. Highly recommend and I will stay here every time I am in Des Moines.

I always enjoy staying at this hotel when in the Des Moines area. The suites are large and comfortable. Its almost like being home. This is a decent hotel property being a former Residence Inn. However, Chase has not put enough maintenance dollars into the establishment to keep it from running down.

Brian at the front desk was excellent, very professional and courteous! The room was very nice and the price was outstanding!! We will stay here again.

I was afraid of what to expect because of reading some of the reviews. I do understand where people would hear traffic from the freeway, but luckily mine traffic noise was faint as I was located on the opposite side of the freeway. I also requested to stay on the 2nd level so as to not hear peoples footsteps. The walls were thin and so I could hear […] the dog in the bottom corner unit but it was not muffled so it wasn't horrible. I did not get to eat breakfast because it closed at 9am and I had overslept. The bed was amazingly comfortable but there were only 3 pillows on the bed for the two of us and they were incredibly flat. There were some stains on the carpet, but hey its a hotel. The room was very spacious, and the kitchenet was convenient. I would definately stay here again! Lees meer

Pros: Room was very spacious with two bathrooms, king and queen bed along with a pull- out couch. Kitchen had dishes, towels, microwave, and fridge. Lobby of hotel very nice. Breakfast, which was included, very nice as well! Cons: Cracked sink, door to upper bathroom badly scraped, ceiling filthy. Atmosphere very plain needs a lot of updating!

Simply Impecable. Convenience and leisure. This hotel enabled my family to relax during a busy Iowa National Guard Drill weekend for my husbands service in Des Moines.

I was a little dissappointed in the hotel. From the pictures on the website it looked extremly clean and updated but the facility is not quite what it looks. Also there were light bulbs burnt out and the wireless internet did not work the 3 days we were there.

We stayed there the night of the George Strait concert. It was very nice, comfortable and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and was very helpful with any questions we had. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will stay there every time we are in Des Moines.

had to move three times Second room had a clogged toilet and should not have been rented....disgusting. Third room was ok but the moving of my luggage in the rain three times was inexcusable. Staff was nice, but not well trained at desk. Server in the social hour room was great

We stayed in the penthouse suite. There was tons of room for our girls weekend. I would defiantly stay in this room again.

Older hotel, all suites inseperate buildings on property, kind of outdated and small TV.

Whenever in Des Moines, I stay at this hotel. The full kitchen is wonderful and the bed is super comfy. There is traffic noise from the interstate but that has never bothered me in the middle of the night and I have never really heard it while in my room during the day. It is pretty easy to hear the outside noise from other hotel occupants. But I stayed […] on New Year's Eve so probably nothing out of the ordinary...The last time I stayed I was on the bottom floor and I could hear a lot of what was going on from the top floor. Very nice and clean. Stayed in the 2br/2ba suite with a loft. Very comfortable and roomy. Would stay here again when in Clive!

Room was good, reservation included a fireplace, which wasn't in the room. TV didn't work on all channels.

The rooms were clean and housekeeping did a good job. I-35 traffic noise is something to deal with no matter what rooom you are staying in as the hotel is just off the interstate. I'm guessing this was a Residence Inn by Marriott at one point? Definitely old, but nice outdoor surroundings with lots of trees. Close parking to your room.

This was our second stay. We'll be back again on our next trip to Des Moines.

Had the loft suite for a shopping weekend in Des Moines. Plenty of room for 3 adults and 3 teenagers. Full kitchen and 2 bathrooms made for a really a great weekend.

I will start off by staying I have stayed in this hotel in the past and had a positive experience, but after last weeks stay I will NOT be coming back. The room had a queen size bed and pull out couch. We pulled out the couch and it was so filthy I wouldn't let anyone sleep on it, so we didn't use it. We all squeezed into the queen bed. Our bathroom […] smelled like urine so bad we could hardly stand it. If we hadn't been traveling with a sleeping 2 year old we would have changed room, but didn't want to wake him. Our room was right next to the interstate and I could hear semis driving by all night long and there was a light on directly outside our window. I didn't get a drop of sleep all night until I left at 3 in the morning and went to Wal-Mart to buy unisome, ear plugs and a $40 humidifier because the room was so dry we were miserable. We had our room cleaned the next day and the smell of urine in the bathroom still did not go away. I imagine it was in the floor instead of just on top. Bottom line is I will not be coming back to this hotel!!!! I almost didn't write a review because I didn't want to relive it. Lees meer

We booked the 2 bedroom suite for a small private birthday party for my wife. Was very nice, lots of room.

We chose Chase Suites for its convenience off of I-80 on our way to Colorado. We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations--very clean, quiet, inviting decor, and friendly, helpful employees. Not sure that we would have the need to stay there again, but would without hesitation.

the fireplace was a surprise, as well as the kitchen! great deal!
