In het hotel is genoeg recreatie voor volwassenen als kinderen, maar shuttel bus naar down town van de hotel is ontbreek, dat vind ik jammer, anders zou ik langer willen blijven.

Het Omni Championsgate is een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor de zakenreiziger, golfer en toerist. Zeer centraal gelegen aan I-4 op steenworpafstand van de attracties.Zeer mooie golfbanen in de directe omgteving. Aanrader (ook voor kinderen) !

When we first got to the hotel we were welcomed by Seth. He offered us fantastic service and was extremely helpful. When we got to the room we were blown away by the views but were rather disappointed by the set up of the room. We felt that the room was a bit old fashioned but wasn't terrible. There was a random wash cloth hanging off of the smoke alarm, […] in which we assumed that a smoker probably tried to throw off the alarm. There was a shuttle that took us to and from the hotel - that was a fantastic perk but the pick up was rough! We also ordered room service when we got back from Epcot. Terrific staff, wonderful place to stay. Would be good to have a newstand/book/magazine/sunscreen type store on the property. Lazy river is awesome.

This is a beautiful hotel overlooking the golf course but there are some negatives. There is not much around the hotel so you are forced to eat at the hotel. The food is over priced and and all of our meals were average and lacked flavor. The rooms are clean but tired and need renovated. We were in the room and watched the maid clean. She just did a […] "wipe " of the bathroom which is unacceptable. Given the choices in Orlando, I would not stay here again. Have stayed here when it was relatively new & was very pleased. This time--not so much. Housekeeping certainly needs a boost. Don't think our room was throughly vacuumed for 4 days. Same piece of granola was ther the entire time! Got a reminder of the time change & was told that housekeeping would be changing the clock radio--not to worry abut it. TWO […] DAYS later it was still not changed--even after I left a note abaut it on the bed. Makeup mirror was a nice touch, but the light on it did not work. Nor did closet light. Seems these type of things should be checked periodically in a hotel of this quality. I know we did book through an outside website at a good rate; but it seems the last three times we have done so, we have a lovely view of the air conditioning unit or the roof of the building below. The hotel was beautiful and only showed any age in the carpeting. Several different restaurants on property but more than one shared a menu. Front desk service was exceptional. Service in 2 of the 3 restaurants we dined in was very good, just not perfect so i couldn't rate it a 5. Waterslide and lazy river was great for our kids. The kids "passport" […] or scavenger hunt sheet wasn't brought to our attention until after we had been at the hotel for several hours so my kids weren't able to get all the stamps they should have gotten but it was fun for them nonetheless. Firepit was great but there were what appeared to be business men smoking cigars around it so we didn't use the smores kits that they sell in the deli. Great idea though! Overall, we would go back. The Omni was perfect place for our family trip. Away from the hustle of hotels around the gates of Disney but close enough (10 min drive) to be very convenient to Disney parks. Lots to do on location for our 2 active kids! The resort & self parking fees were not included but that would stop us from coming back again! Great place!

When I made my reservation, I specifically sought a property that was pet friendly. When I got there, I was charged an additional $100 pet fee, $20/night resort fee, and $16/night serf parking fee. The foyer area is very opulent. The golf course and pool are are equally impressive. The basement deli and ground floor Morsells Coffee Bar are both very good and offer excellent service. However, all this was let down by the very poor state of our room and 5th Floor. We stayed in Room 523 having stayed at this resort some 4 years ago and having been […] very impressed. The room was musty, tired and had a picturesque view of the roof. The bathroom sink took an age to drain and the linen was stale. We don't think this room had been used refularly and would guess the bed had been changed and left for some weeks? The shower was above the bath and the plunger to switch between bath and shower was so stiff my wife couldn't operate it. The wallpaper was peeling on the hall approach from the lift and when we returned to our room we found the bathroom supplies comprised of 2 x Conditioner and no shampoo and the bin had not not been emptied. The iron also did not work. This resort charges $16 a day to self park and a $25 a day resort fee. Considering the standard it is aiming at it fails to impress Lees meer

It is a good hotel but it is not cheap. I rented a room for one night for business and I did not want to use any ameninies on the site but the situation of the hotel for my appointemnt was perfect. The price was good, 129$/night plus taxes. I have no view and no balcony but it was fine because I just want to sleep at 10 P.M till late morning At the […] check out, they told me I have to paid 16$ for the parking +20$ obligatoiry resort fee extra. I told them that I did not use nothing at the resort at all, I when right a way to bed, get up in the morning and leave. They told me no choice it's the price. Terrible view...all we could see from our window was the air conditioning unit on the roof. Not only was the view terrible-the unit outside made a humming noise all night so, we did not get any sleep.

There are some hidden charges that I didn't enjoy... Each night has a 18 additional dollars plus 14 for using the parking lot.... It's important to know what the price is going to be even if the amount it's not representative...

Vert uncomfortable beds - poor quality mattress. Two families travelling togather and both rooms had the same issue. We did let the front desk manager know about our concern but no follow-up actions taken during our 5 day stay.

We had a good experience staying at Omni Championsgate. We chose it because we often stay at Omni and like the chain, and also because of the shuttle service available to guests to Disney parks. We liked the hotel, and their Asian restaurant Zen is superb. We were a little disappointed with the shuttle though, and we ended up using it only once. They […] are only available twice a day and only two of the parks have free shuttle service, the others are more than 25$ per person. So the description of free shuttle service is a little misleading. Moreover they have to be booked 24 hours before- allowing for little flexibility. But apart from this, we had no surprises. Check in was at 3pm and we didn't get our room until 5:30pm. The hotel is understaffed and did not offer us adequate compensation for the 2 1/2 hours of waiting in the lobby for our hotel room. It was our 5th anniversary trip and we were really disappointed with the hotel service/management.

This hotel is a fully inclusive resort. We had no reason to leave; everything that we could want was provided at the hotel! This hotel was beyond amazing and similar to much more expensive ones. Gorgeous, clean, friendly staff, and lots to do. There are several pool areas which are tropical and relaxing with slides and activities for kids, and two jacuzzis. My kids are older, but we all LOVED the lazy river!! The outdoor lunch restaurant, Croc's, had delicious lite meals […] and salads poolside. There is also wait service to the entire pool area. Our room had a view of the pools and golf course and it was like looking at a post card every time of the day with amazing sunsets each evening. Yes, there is a daily parking fee, as at most hotels in this area, just figure it into your cost and you won't be surprised. They explained it upfront at check-in and take a credit card hold, the same as on a cruise ship, for in-hotel expenses so you can charge drinks and meals to the room. This is not just a hotel to sleep while you run around Orlando all day, it is a resort that you will not want to leave. We did go offsite to some local restaurants and to Downtown Disney and were in town for a bowl game, but my kids were perfectly content with staying here all day, I practically had to drag them away. We had a really good experience during our stay here. The room was clean, staff friendly and the pools and golf course provided lots of fun for the whole family. One disadvantage though is that it is a bit of a hike from many things in Orlando. So one definitely needs a car, and has to take travel time into account when planning trips to various attractions […] around, as well as to and from the airport. Also be aware of the so called resort fee and parking fees. It added about $35 daily to our bill. I wish they had included in the reservation instead of charging separately. The resort fee may be a result of some weird Florida regulation, but parking in the middle of nowhere for $15/day seems a little extreme and for that I gave it 4 instead of 5. All in all this is a well run and maintained hotel/resort that a whole family can enjoy staying. Lees meer
