Hotel was located in memphis and I liked the trolley car was right in front of it. Had to wait a long time to check in ,but rooms were really nice. Valet was convenient as well. Would stay there again. great breakfast too!

The room was very nice and comfy. The balcony had a nice view of a park and Main St. Elevators are very slow. Killed a small cockroach in the bathroom, then wondered how many we would take home with us. There are four hotels very close to each other but not one restaurant. If you want to eat, you either go to a restaurant, or have it delivered.

Comfortable suite and helpful front desk staff made for a pleasant overnight stay in Memphis. We enjoyed a very ample breakfast, too. It's about a ten minute walk to Beale Street. GPS will find it difficult to locate main entrance due to one way streets.

Springhill Suites was very nice and in a great location. There was a park on both, front and back and the Mississippi River was a block away. You could walk most of the city with little effort. The trolley was right out side the hotel door and for $1.00 you can ride all over the city. Loved Beale Street, the food and the music.

When we entered our room there was mildew on the ceiling and walls of the bathroom and also around the shower/tub grout. The response from the staff was that was normal for here because of the humidity. we told them that my wife was particularly susceptible to the mildew spores. they said don't worry about it. ( we do). Finally they brought someone […] from maintenance to scrub the walls and the shower/tub while we had to be gone from the room for 2 hours. Subsequently, our room reeked of bleach the rest of our stay (one night). They never bothered to offer us another room perhaps they all had the same problem. We asked the front desk for change to ride the trolley to Beale Str. (The trolley is right outside the front door of the hotel) They told us to check with valet parking for change because they didn't have any change. They didn't have any either. We had to walk to Beale Str. past numerous homeless people who were very aggressive in their panhandling. Lees meer

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. The hotel is located within easy walking distance to many attractions, including Beale Street. I will stay at this hotel the next time I am in Memphis.

The address of the hotel is listed as 21 N. Main. However, Main street is closed off to any traffic except the Trolley, carriages and pedestrians. They need to change the advertised address. After asking for advice to access the hotel, we had to back out of a dead end street and go around the block. It was such a pleasure to stay here. Beale Street is only blocks away and an easy walk to a nice evening of food and music, or the carriage delivery to the door, or take the trolley. We had a very nice time and will only stay here when we return to Memphis.

everything was great breakfast food very good. would strongly recommend and will be back again. Thanks very clean atmostphere

The Springhill Suites were close to everything in the downtown area!

Good location to enjoy downtown activities, such as Redbird games, Beale St., or walk to many great restaurants.

There were quite a few seemingly homeless people that rested on the benches across the streetcar tracks in the evenings...and some of them aren't shy.

We had a very pleasant three days at this hotel. The room wasn't spacious, but the beds were incredibly comfy, we had a pretty balcony overlooking a lovely park, the breakfasts were hearty and the location terrific, with (fare=$1) trolleys literally right out the front door. We could walk to most of the places we wanted to see and while the downtown […] is undergoing a renaissance and can be a little dicey-feeling, the Blue Suede Brigade was there to assist tourists like us. We encountered a few panhandlers, but I was there (a single mama) with three daughters and never felt unsafe. (But then, we live in Chicago and are used to urban life.) We arrived on the City of New Orleans (train) at about 7AM - far too early to check in. Still, I asked if we could leave our luggage and at least use the restroom to change clothes and freshen up. Not only did front desk manager Jency invite us to have breakfast, she managed - on a day when the hotel was booked solid - to find us a room. After a sleepless night on the train, this was better than good news - it felt like a miracle. We were able to unpack and shower before heading off to the Memphis Zoo. Our experience was nothing short of perfect. I'd read negative comments about the staff on other reviews here, but I felt that everyone - Jency especially - treated us very well and contributed to an excellent three days in Memphis. Oh - there is one thing. The spa (hot tub) could have been a little hotter, but we loved the outdoor pool and made friends with guests who appeared to have come from all corners of the world. Our room had a water problem. We where moved to another room. Breakfast was nice. I would stay their again.

Beautiful hotel, wonderfully located (does charge for parking). Room was gorgeous in restored historical building. Only gripe was that the free breakfast got totally overwhelmed with more than a half-hour before it ended, so that staff couldn't keep food or coffee provided readily. We were very happy with the room and the service that we received at this hotel. I had read previous reviews and saw good things from others who had ridden motorcycles to Memphis and stayed here. They had us park right next to the hotel and I felt as safe as possible with where it was parked. This was one of the most important considerations for us. […] The trolley runs on Main next to the hotel and a stop is right outside. This made it very convenient for going down to Beale Street and not having to worry about riding back when we were in no shape to ride. I would stay here again if I was going to Memphis. Lees meer

As for location it is in the middle of everything. River, bars, restaurants and only like 15 minutes away from elvis' house. As for the staff...the lady at the front was very rude, i stood looking at her for 10 minutes without any acknowledgement, then when she did see me she cleaned up her area, talked to a co-worker then asked for my name, then i […] stood their looking at her in shock as she still did nothing. after 35 minutes of looking i finally laughed, looked at my friends and said "this is awesome service" then she proceeded to help me. Good Hotel, Good Location, Good Service, Very Good Experence

We had a great time in Memphis partly because of the location of this hotel. You can catch the trolly to Beale street and ride it back or can take a carriage ride. The drivers were so knowledgeable. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally nice. The first night, however, there was a problem with the air conditioning, but when I talked to the staff, […] they quickly took care of the problem. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Walking to everything - trolley bus, river cruises, Beale Street and restaurants. Very effective WIFI internet access. Comprehensive selection within the buffet style breakfast. Hotel staff attentive to needs. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others.

Front desk staff not friendly or helpful but hotel itself is excellent. Staff needs training. Staff did not inform about the afternoon meal. They did not show interest in the quests. It was just a work for them.

Nice hotel. Well run. About 6 blocks from Beale st and Blues events.

After driving over 9 hours to Memphis, my boyfriend and I were relieved to arrive at our hotel, only to be greeted by a less than warm welcome at the hotel entrance. I don't believe our valet parking attendant or front-desk person said "Welcome" to us once! Service was a bit disappointing, but the room was beautiful and clean, which made up for our […] initial let-down. The high ceilings and suite-type amenities (like fridge, extra couches) made our stay more than comfortable. The location is also ideal, only a few blocks away from the exciting Beale Street. I had to deal with packages, shipping, taping etc on a business trip to this location. The staff were wonderful. They were helpful, patience and so professional. I had to write a review. I travel 3-4x a month. These guys get my top service rating.

Location is great, step out door on to trolley in Memphis which will take you anywhere for $1. Had the suite for 3 kids and two adults and it was very cramped, disappointing form the 2 bedroom we had stayed in a few blocks away just a week earlier. Staff courteous and room clean!

Room was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. My only small complaint would be the air conditioner was loud. We were on motorcycles and the staff went out of there way to watch them in a very nice parking area. Anybody that approached them was questioned. It gave a great peace of mind. I was very satisfied with the hotel. It's location was excellent--not far from Beale ST or the River. Located right now Main ST with a Trolley stop situated right outside the front door. If you're looking for a hotel with a comfortable size room, and get location that won't break your pockets then this is it.

This hotel gave us everything we could wish for. A superb location great staff, ambiance and a lovely room with a balcony. Only complaint was even though the free breakfast was good it got so crowded on the last two days of our visit we had to eat out. Perhaps a more workable dining area which served meals all day would be an added bonus. My buddy and I drove our motorcycles down from Minnesota to sample some Memphis barbeque. We wanted a hotel close to Beale Street, where the action is. We were very pleased with the location and service of the hotel, the room was very nice and the hotel staff was both friendly and effecient. Great hotel, however we experienced a problem on Saturday morning when attempting to have breakfast. The hotel must have been booked to capacity, as the crowd for breakfast was insane. A steady line of at least 20 people for several hours, with no place to sit. We believe it to be the result of several booked family reunions. The gentleman who checked us in was incredibly helpful. So much so, we changed our travel plans & decided to stop back in Memphis on our way home, and stayed another night. This place exceeded our expectations...no need to go anywhere but here when visiting Memphis.

This contemporary-style, relatively new hotel was comfortable and conveniently located - great value for the price. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great. A trolly right outside the door was a great way to see downtown Memphis. A cute park square is located across the street. The outdoor pool was small, but offered a sufficient way to cool […] off and relax before heading out at night. Nice, cheap and very centrally located hotel. Quiet, with good facilities and very friendly staff. The only downer: Not easy to find and breakfast room a little too small. Good located hotel, surrounding area nice. Easy walk to Beale St & other attractions. On the Trolley line. Staff very friendly & helpful, free breakasts are good. Large suite, only the air conditioner a little noisy . Our room was on the top floor (7th) with a river view. Very comfortable. Good value. Would stay again.
