Afgelopen maart (2012) heb ik met mijn zoon in het Harbor Plaza Resort City geslapen. Het is een prima en schoon hotel. De afstand naar het centrum is een dik half uur. Maar het hotel heeft een shuttle bus. De kosten hiervan zijn ca. 2,50 voor een enkel ritje. Ook vanaf de luchthaven kun je met een shuttle bus van het hotel naar het hotel komen. Kosten hiervan zijn 10,00 euro. Duurt ca. 3 kwartier. Prima geregeld dus. De kamer is schoon en de grootte viel me niet tegen. Goede badkamer met ligbad en douche in het bad. De bedden zijn wel kei hard. Dit hotel is aan te raden maar let wel op de afstand naar het centrum toe. Je gaat niet even snel vanuit het centrum terug naar je hotel en dan weer naar het centrum toe. We kunnen het hotel niet vergelijken, aangezien we voor de eerste maal in Hong Kongen op bezoek gingen; alleszins adembenemend zicht op de haven vanaf onze kamer op de 62e verdieping (hadden gevraagd zo hoog mogelijk te liggen) Ligging in de New Territories, doch wegens aanwezigheid van de werkelijk sublieme metro-lijnen en de goedkope taxi-service geen enkel probleem om alle interessante plaatsen in Hong Kong en Kowloon snel te bereiken; ontbijt nogal Engels-Aziatisch maar dat is begrijpelijk natuurlijk; mooi-ogend design in de badkamer niet altijd praktisch maar voor de rest prima kamer met kluis

Het ligging van het hotel is wel afgelegen maar met openbaar vervoer is goed te doen. Het Tsing Yi shopping mall is niet zo ver van de hotel met de mini bus kom je in 5 min. bij de shopping mall.

Dit was de 3de keer dat ik in het USA hostel verbleef. Ik raad mensen aan als ze kamer 509 krijgen aangeboden proberen een andere kamer te nemen. De airco (Buiten) hangt onder een lekkende rioleringspijp wat stank overlast geeft als men de airco aanzet (behoorlijke last). Andere kamers zijn goed voor de prijs die er gevraagd wordt.
Ligging.
Langham Place, Mongkok, Hong Kong bevindt zich in de omgeving Mong Kok van Kowloon. dit hotel ligt dicht bij Ladies', Temple Street Night Market en Nathan Road. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Mong Kok Computer Centre en Tung Wah Museum.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Langham Place, Mongkok, Hong Kong heeft een volledig uitgeruste spa, een healthclub, een buitenzwembad, een spabad en een stoomcabine. In alle openbare ruimtes is draadloos internet beschikbaar (tegen betaling). Stayed in alot better hotels for alot less money. Service us poor, rooms are good and location gd, nice pool, stayed a few times and last 3 times swore it would be the last, however work keeps booking!
I just love staying at this hotel. It's such a pleasant experience.

"In the heart of Mongkok"
Hotels is surrounding with full of shops and restaurants. Subway is right beneath. Great location. Rooms are nice and clean, not large by any means, but comfortable. Water pressure is strong enough, sheets and pillows are nice and comfortable. Enjoyed my stay there every time.
Perfect service, not very big rooms, location a bit off where you want to be.

This place is top rate, and very comfortable. I am super impressed and will stay here again...the rooftop pool, spa, and langham place mall are all great parts, that make for a pleasant and wonderful time.

Location is perfect, room is clean and comfortable, staff is nice. However we checked in at 3:30pm but can only get our room around 6pm. It would be perfect if the hotel can ready the room before customer check in.

Stayed 4 Ni w my mum n sis. We checked in at different time. For me, i had a exceptional Warm welcome from concierge at ground floor to reception n was ascorted by a member of their welcome team. However my mum n sis didn't received the same level of welcome. Their experience was average. Nothing bad but no outstanding. I guess there are some inconsistency […] there. Overall we are happy with our stay. Room was. Comfortable but it is alittle tight for triple sharing hor essential vital room. "Not the best deal"
We arrived to the hotel at the Chinese New Year's eve. The first welcome at the reception was "for an additional sum per day we can upgrade you......" that is when you realize that you got the short end of the stick. We got a COLD room (13 degrees Celsius outside) on the 20th floor. I called the management and they send several maintenance engineers […] only to tell me that there is NO HEATING on those floors (only A/C) and they can get me a radiator heater. I did not let go and requested to speak with the General Manager but he was on holiday and not available to speak. I did some research and found out that the hotel is owned by a Hong Kong Doctor and managed by an Australian CEO (don't remember the names now) and the HQ is in Hong Kong and they are all on holiday and no-one to speak to. I spoke with the front desk manager and told them that I will speak with all the above people as soon as they return to work when they realize that I am about to "raise hell" when they politely told me that they will move me to the 29th floor where there is central heating in the room. "Short, great stay"
The staff was very helpful right from the moment we stepped out of the taxi and had to unload 5 pieces of hand luggage + stroller + winter coats + a tired toddler. We were able to offload some luggage, get a card, hand the card to the front desk and check in quickly, then go to our room and wait for luggage to arrive - which didn't take long at all. "Once a Great Hotel on the Declined"
Upon arrival to the room, the first impression wasn't comfort. Considered all the 4+ stars hotels I have visited in different countries, this discomfort feeling was the first time. I felt like I booked a 3 star hotel or hostel. I am very sensitive to dust and extremely alert when the place is dirty. And that feeling was driving me crazy within 10 minutes […] of staying in this hotel. Sure enough the moment I lifted up the pillow, the pillow have stains all over. Not to mention, the pillow case, it has blood stains on it. Balls of dust were also found in several corners of the room, which immediately got me thinking "What kind of 5 Star hotel is it?" Because it was so late, and I haven't slept for nearly 30+ hours, I placed several layers of bath towel and sleep anyway without the pillows until I was able to move. The reception was immediately notified the next morning and I changed to a room next door. To my surprise, the pillow was still dirty, the comforter have green stains on it and not to mention the bed cover has holes. It's Chinese New Year Eve, and I'm still offered a dirty comforter with bed cover that has holes. Are you kidding me? It's a total disappointment for me since I have recommended to so many friends and staff in my company to stay in this hotel. I felt betrayed and made wrong recommendation to my friends and staff. Although the management sent me a fruit plate and computer generated apology letter, the damage was done. The bed and pillow was well maintained after my second complain but the thought of whether it was cleaned after housekeeping kept on crossing my mind everyday. And that shouldn't happen for a hotel with a 4+ stars rating. Like I said, I'm very disappointed and felt betrayed for the trust I have kept on this hotel over the years. The recommendation within my company's traveling places of accommodation will surely be removed after this disappointing stay. The room we bought on your website was for 3 people, we could hardly fit 2 people into the room let alone 3! When I complained all they said was I had to pay up which I did but the room was still unbearably small. No sympathy from the hotel staff! I would not stay at this hotel again!

This hotel has exceptional services and for the location, simply put it is unbeatable! Conveniently located to mtr, shopping mall, street bazaar, street food.... just that the price is a bit steep, other than that, it is a great hotel to stay to explore hk!

"Great Location to see the real Hongkong."
Langham Place Hotel is a great place for travellers who have never been to Hongkong to see the real live of Hongkong. The hotel is nice but just a bit rundown.

Service was really prompt on arrival and we were led to our room where check-in was done! No need for long queues/check-ins. Very attentive staff who answered our questions and provided information on where we could go. The hotel is a stones throw away from Argyle and the Ladies Market so for those who want to shop, it is definitely a plus as it's […] location ensures you can just pop back for a rest or to drop off your shopping bags. Another feature of the hotel, is the many art works they have on display. It's a nice touch to the place, and for those with time, do take the tour (ipod provided) to know more about the art works. "Very nice amenities & love the little touches"
Husband and I really enjoyed our stay. the Staff were all helpful and spoke good english. I especially love the service of providing us with an iPhone 4 with data plan for our usage during our stay. I was also impresesed by the pillow menu, and the little touches that was given every night to help us sleep better, it would be a bag of camomile tea one […] night, a massage tip the next, very thoughtful. Housekeeping was also very efficient, we rarely had to wait too long for what we've asked for. Hotel located above mongkok mtr, great for family with young or elderly. Can take escalator up to the mall and use the adjoining bridge to reach hotel. Very centrral location! Few blocks away from street markets and few stations away from central mtr and TST mtr. Adjoining Langham mall is filled with restaurants, shopping and even a movie threatre. "Nice but small"
With all the posts about this hotel i just expected so much more when I checked in. I was extremely disappointed about the single beds and tiny room I received. After a rather frustrating dialogue with a receptionist a hotel manger stepped in upgraded my room ... only slighter larger but to at least a king size bed that my friend and shared comfortably […] (better than the tiny single) and a room with a much better view. Great hotel in a great location. A mall is right next door and a metro stop is in the bottom of the mall which makes transportation around the area quite easy. The surrounding neighborhoods are quite busy but fun to explore if you want to experience some of Hong Kong. The room was quite comfortable and clean. Great service, top location and if you pay extra for a nice high room the views are amazing. Once of the best hotels I have ever had. Cannot rate the food as I ate out in town but if it was like the room it would have been great.

Placed right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city, right next to the ladies market, electronic, sports street and also right beside a mall it is perfect for shopping in the heart of Kowloon. For sight seeing, it was extremely easy to access to Lantau & HongKong Island because the metro is a few steps away from the hotel. "Langham Place HK"
Our stay was pleasant considering that we were upgraded (according to the front desk). The hotel has a free service of providing their hotel owned Ipad with built in internet connection. I cannot understand why they do not allow me to connect my Ipad to their wifi for free.
