Petit Palace Germanias Valencia in Valencia

A typical 3 star city centre hotel, suitable for short stay. Room was small but adequate and good value for money. Close to Valencia North railway station and only a short walk into the city centre. Breakfast seemed quite expensive but cafe across the road served good coffee, orange juice and croissants.

I stayed in the hotel with my 2 children for 3 days. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. We particularly like the free WiFi facilities. It is not too far from Valencia Nord, pretty convenient. It is about 7-8 mins walk only. There are also small eateries and convenient shops around for purchase of water or fruits.

Overall decent hotel to stay in. Front desk staff were reasonably friendly and helpful, buffet breakfast available at reasonable price, wifi connection in rooms was average, room itself was small yet suitable as we were hardly in the room, found bed really uncomfortable however, felt like sleeping on fold out couch bed. The location is fine and easy to get to from the train station. The hotel was the most modern of any hotel we stayed in during our trip in eruope at that price range. It was clean and relatively soundproof. The only comments are that the room was quite small and had and awkward layout such that it was difficult to find space for two suitcases. The second […] thing was what the previous reviewers commented on was the glass door to the bathroom. The problem with it is that it is not soundproof because it is glass and there are gaps around the frame so someone from the Bedroom can sort of see in. The location of the hotel is just on the outskirts of the medieval city after crossing the busy 4-lane road it’s a short 10-minute walk into the centre of town. The hotel is small (But I knew that before I booked) the breakfast tables are actually lined up close to the reception desk due to lack of space. The decor is modern & smart. Booking in wasn’t […] a problem; the staff were efficient. They did however try to ‘sell’ us the hotel’s breakfast for a ‘reduced rate’ of 8 euros instead of the usual 12 euros if we booked right there and then. We thought it was a little steep so we declined. The room was 507 facing interior of the building. This is one of only two rooms (per floor) that doesn’t have a bath (found that out by looking at the fire escape floor plan in my room) however the ‘Hydro shower’ was perfectly adequate for my needs. The rest of the en-suite facilities were fine, the partially misted glass door (without a lock) wasn’t ideal for couples that prefer a little privacy when on the toilet. The room is small, in the corner was a wardrobe flat-screen TV (No English channels) and a safe (Free, operated by any credit card). Air-con is also free. This was necessary as the room was quite stuffy and the window wouldn’t open due to the curtains being in the way (the window opened inwards). The bed was a queen size and too hard for my taste, the pillows small and far too soft. No blankets or duvets were on the bed or available in the room just a sheet on top. Both my wife and I didn’t really get one good night’s sleep in that bed. To sum up it’s OK for maybe one night; I however wouldn’t stay there again. Lees meer

if you are driving you will have problems parking. get a hotel with free parking otherwise what you save will be easily spent on parking not to mention the extra walking you will do.

Excellent value for money, close to the centre of Valencia. Would definitely stay there again.

Oppholdet var bra. Dessverre var internettet noe tregt og ustabilt. Temperatur kunne ikke reguleres på rommet, selv om alt utstyr for å kunne gjøre det tilsynelatende var instalert. Selv med rimelig bra utetemperatur var det forferdelig kaldt på rommet.

Hôtel très bien situé à quelques pas de la gare centrale, du métro et des commerces. Personnel accueillant et réactif. Chambre spacieuse avec tout le confort nécessaire mais seul point négatif : la poussière.

Ottima proporzione qualità-prezzo. Buona la posizione vicina al centro, comoda sia a piedi che con i mezzi. Camera non grandissima ma ottima per brevi soggiorni. Bagno comodo e pratico. Unico neo, il condizionatore molto rumoroso, già segnalato in altre recensioni che è davvero eccessivo la notte. Se encuentra en una zona muy tranquila. La limpieza de las habitaciones es perfecta y el trato del personal de recepción inmejorable en todos los sentidos. La amabilidad y el deseo de agradar son el lema principal de todo el personal del hotel. EL hotel esta bien situado, es correcto en cuanto a lo que hay en la habitación aunque es muy justito. La limpieza... había pelos en el baño y eso hoy en dia es como para irse, y ya te sientes receloso de la limpieza pero todo este pasa, lo peor es que precisamente a un hotel se va a dormir y lo demas, es lo de menos, pero que el colchon sea nefasto, […] eso es imperdonable. Leilighetene er helt greie. Vi hadde to soverom, kjökken og bad. God plass, utstyrt med det mest nödvendige. Ingen luksus, men reint- sett bort fra kopper og kar på kjökkenet. Det måtte vi vaske för bruk. Beliggenheten midt på las ramblas er perfekt. Det er ca 100 meter til närmeste t-bane stasjon. Cet hotel est très proche du centre ville La chambre était spacieuse, propre et fonctionnelle avec de nombreuses prises électriques disponibles. La salle de bain était grande et équipée de jets massants. Le wifi gratuit était très appréciable et le personnel tres accueillant et très serviable pour nous guider dans nos choix de visites. Bra och prisvärt hotel. Nära till tågstationen.

Das Hotel hat uns eigentlich gefallen, was Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit des Personals und Lage (Nähe Altstadt, Bahnhof, ruhig) betroffen haben. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ebenfalls wirklich sehr gut: verschiedene frische Brötchen, frische Früchte, Müesli, Joghurts, guter Kaffee - wir waren jeweils gut gestärkt für unsere Erkundungstouren. Was weniger gut […] war, war die Grösse des Raumes. Leider war kein anderes Zimmer mehr frei, somit mussten wir uns mit dem winzig kleinen begnügen. Die Qualität des Bettes war auch nicht übermässig (wenn jemand sich wendete, kam man sich wie auf einem Schiff vor!). Für die Jahreszeit (Ostern) war es relativ kalt.
