Super 8 Allentown in Allentown

It wasn't to bad, but I had to request for clean linen everyday, because I was three a few days, they didn't come to clean my room unless I asked. They should of done it daily

construction not finished heater no control 1 room key for two people room view of used condoms and cigarette butts cleaning service folded back beds but didnt change sheets trash towelsetc etc

The man behind the counter was rude because I interrupted his phone call to check in. I asked for a nonsmoking room but the bathroom smelled like an ash tray. It was close to the airport but there are ones that are much closer and probably nicer. This is a bottom rung budget hotel. We regretted pre-booking a 4 night stay. The condition of the rooms is poor, they are not thoroughly cleaned or maintained, and garbage cans in common areas were consistently overflowing. The hotel has been recently renovated. Try to get a room in the new section, as we did. It's a plain, simple hotel as to be expected in a lower-priced chain (very low rates in fact, two days for what one would usually expect to pay for one), but quite comfortable. We went there to escape the hurricane and arrived exhausted, late at night. We overslept […] and missed the continental breakfast -- and the housekeeping staff was kind enough to bring us muffins and cereal, and not even accept a tip! On the other hand, WiFi service didn't seem to function well. When I called the front desk, they claimed it was "up and running," but that "someone in the hotel was blocking" me. That seemed unlikely since I did not know anyone in the hotel nor was my computer linked to any other computer user. Lees meer

I booked a non-smoking room that smelled like cigarettes. The ceiling in the bathroom was not finished. I had a view of trash from my window. I was mostly disappointed because the air conditioner in the room was broken so we were very uncomfortable.

Our room seemed to be under construction or in the middle of repair, I will never stay at another Super 8 based on this visit.

We found this motel adequate for our needs. We were glad when someone asked if they rented rooms by the hour, that the desk clerk said no. We were able to follow the directions as to how to get to the motel, even though we were not at all familiar with that city. not clean at all especially the blankets and linen breakfast was not good at all

My room had at least 5 holes in the walls. There was drink stains on all the walls, it looked like there was a bar fight in the room. The shower ceiling had mold growing on it. The pillows were paper thin. The heater in my room thermostat did not work, so the heat was on or off. It was snowing outside and chilly. So i left it on most of the night. Nothing fancy there, but it's well-located and quite low in price. Manager was friendly enough, room had all basics. Heating controls did not work however, so room was a bit chilled.

The super 8 in allentown was conveniently located and cheaper than others but was outdated. The room was ok, but I wish I paid a little more and stayed elsewhere.

Room was clean, front desk was efficient, and even though I ended up with a smoking room, the smell was light and managable.

Me and my son stayed at this hotel while he was playing in a baseball tournament. It was perfect for us. We did stay in the new section of the hotel so i can only speak about that. I would definatly stay again.

The neighborhood wasn't very nice - the exterior was run down and confusing. BUT the room was recently renovated with all new furniture and bathroom fixtures. room was 3+ stars - exterior & location would be 1-2 stars

They have 2 buildings - we were in the new one. They had two queens stuffed in a king room, so space was tight, but everything was clean and functional. Some late noise in the hallway, and the Continental Breakfast was skimpier than most. Otherwise, a good basic overnight stop.

I did not check-in until I finished work at 1:30 am. The night clerk tried too tell me I could ckeck-in until 2:00am, because that was when the company's next day started. By the time I explained that the computer system would not let me apply the day before. I booked the room after midnight. Need more jacuzzi rooms.... :( Somehow, just doesn't feel like I'm not getting my money's worth....

Staying at this Super 8 was a frightening experience! The hotel is more of a residence than a motel- it seemed most of the rooms were being rented for weekly/monthly stays. I requested a non-smoking room, and was given one that reeked of smoke. I asked to be switched to another room and this one was just as bad. The rooms were dirty and the whole place […] felt unsafe. This hotel was just okay. It was not great but it was not horrible either. The breakfast area in the morning was very messy...no napkins (only a box of tissue set out) and a less-than fresh feeling about the food.

Night manager had an attitude when we checked in
