There is nothing like the view of the Tetons -- but I was extremely disappointed in the condition of the hotel and rooms. Main hotel -- dirty, worn down, peeling paint - sad. It was out of season for the area,, but it was a very nice stay !!!

I didn't gather this when I was reading the reviews, but this is actually a property on the Snow King Ski Resort. This is just a small resort with a couple of lifts but it is the original resort in Jackson, WY and separate from Jackson Hole Ski Resort. It is a short drive from Town Square and to Jackson Hole's Teton Village Resort Base. We stayed there […] after the slopes at Snow King were shut down so we got a great rate. The room, hotel, and view were all very lovely. I enjoy staying somewhere quiet but within striking distance of something a bit more happenin'. Our room was very spacious, clean, and the decor was wonderful. Although you can tell this hotel is "vintage," the overall feel is still inviting and upscale. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. Lees meer

Everything was absolutely wonderful with our stay.We were picked up at the airport by a very friendly van driver who told us all about the town and the resort as he drove us to the resort. We were treated very well by everyone. Rooms were clean, warm, comfortable and very reasonably priced.

Had a great stay here! The room was clean, the towels were soft, and the condo was comfortable! Most of the staff were very friendly, but they weren't very helpful when we had questions about the shuttles and getting around town - but we made it anyhow. I would definitely stay there again....

Nice location, price was right, nice get away for the week-end place to go.

We were a family of six with multiple rooms. Our son came there for a FIS ski race and the facility was the best, close to the lifts nice;not fancy, hot tub, as well as providing a nice ski tuning room. It was not the flashest but very comfortable and very suitable for us.

The pictures we saw online were either incorrect or outdated. The rooms were much nicer than pictured and most of the amenities were very new. The lodge has a huge hot tub that is perfect for after skiing.

Alpine Vista Lodge is actually "SNOW KING RESORT". The lodge is not close to downtown. (~30 min walking distance) Nightly rate was definitely a plus. The bar, restaurant and pool made it all much better. Bed was very comfortable. The lodge needs some serious restoration especially the bathrooms. Bottom line: Worth the price paid.

The Snow King Lodge and Alpine Vista Lodging are apparently one in the same. The location was very convinient to down town Jackson Hole. It is about 20 minutes to Teton Village.

The name of the hotel is the Snow King, so look for that. The room had an excelent view of the ski resort mountain, pine trees and snow. The hotel is an older hotel, you can tell from the lay out, but the room was big, bed was comfortable. Overall a nice place.

The hotel is close to everything in Jackson. It isn't, however, called Alpine Vista Lodging. It is actually the Snow King Resort. The rooms were very dark and the walls were made out of cinder blocks and where they weren't they needed a deep clean. There were only lamps to light the room. The bed was mostly comfortable although I didn't sleep well at […] all. The staff was friendly and helpful but I wouldn't recommend this place unless your expectations are on the Super 8 level. The hotel was very good but was out of town

Comfortable, well appointed room EXCEPT for the bed. Not a hard/soft issue but simply worn out and in need of replacement.

This was a GREAT deal!! Great price!! Great location. Friendly staff Comfy beds Near downtown Jackson. Highly recommended!!

There is no sign on the outside of the building identifying it as Alpine Vista. So I wasted some time looking for it, my only complaint. You check in at the main entrance to the Snow King Resort. The room was comfortable and clean. The view was great. Hotel staff was pleasant. Very good place for the price.

They hotel wasn't bad although the bathtub area really, really needs renovation. The furniture is too big so the room feels small. There was not a little fridge or microwave which was inconvenient. The hotel restaurant was pretty, had a very nice view, had friendly staff, and the food was really good. The hotel staff were not very friendly although […] accomodating. This was an off season trip. The rooms and service provided were very good. Pleasant staff easy to find and just far enough from downtown. I came to see the mountains and parks and this was excellent for my purpose. I will stay again.

The hotel is a bit worn, but it has a great location (particularly during skiing season). The room was clean and comfortable, and the price was lower than expected. Recommended.

This a great place. Only problem I had was finding it. When we got to the address given there was no Alpine Vsta to be found, After driving around for 30 minutes, finally going to the local library we found out that Snow King Resort is "sometimes" called Alpine Vista. Reservations for Apline Vista were accepted by Snow King.

This hotel is really huge! It literally has hundreds of rooms, of varying types. The room was quite comfortable, although there was a severe lack of power outlets in the room: all of them were already in use, there was only one available for a guest, for example for recharging a photo camera or a cell phone. Was OK except we could not get into our room the second day because we were locked out and had to go down and get them to unlock us. It was not a big deal but quite an inconvience when you are tired and in a hurry and have to go do that

This Hotel was great. We only stayed one night unfortunately, but would have definitely stayed longer if we had the time. The bed was very comfortable, which is very important to me with my chronic back pain. The best part was we reserved this room last minute. While we were on a short budget, we were calling all the local cheaper hotels and motels. […] Since it was 8:00pm all Hotels/Motels we called were booked full. The only one that had rooms left was Motel 6. They weren't that cheap and I know from other stays at Motel 6, that there beds are kinda stiff, so I was reluctant to stay there. I got on my phone and used the internet and went to Hotel.com, that is were I found this Hotel and it was cheaper than Motel 6 and it was rated at a 3 1/2 star. With it being late and out of options we jumped on this deal quickly. We were amazed at what a wonderful deal we had just bought once we arrived at the Hotel. The only two bad things we experienced was one when trying to look for the Hotel, the name of the Hotel was the Snow King Resort.. The Snow King Resort has three different Hotels affiliated with it. We were not sure that we were at the right place until we checked into the front desk and they said that this was it. The second bad thing we experienced was the air conditioner in the room was older so it was louder then we would have liked. Other then that it was a great resort and we enjoyed our stay. Lees meer

Really enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful. One important thing to note--the actual name of the hotel is Snow King Lodge and Resort. We drove around for 15 minutes trying to find the hotel in the dark. Really wish hotels.com would correct the name. They said it happens all night, every night.

I'm used to getting a lot better quality hotel room for the price I paid but due to the fact that hotel rates in Jackson are very high, it probably was a reasonable rate for what we got. The furnishings in the room and throughout the hotel were well worn but the linens were clean and comfortable. The lighting was so bad that we needed to use headlamps […] to read with and there was no screen on the window that opened on the 5th floor exposing the occupants to a 5 story free-fall. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Unfortunately, the hotel itself needs some maintenance: the bath faucet ran constantly and a few tiles were broken. The actual hotel name was different from the name we booked and we didn't know it so drove around looking for it until we found a local phone number and put it together. This hotel is actually the Snow King. It is a little tired but my room was very comfortable and accessable to town. It helps to ask for a quiet room as my first room was near the elevator.

This hotel is nice enough. For the price and what you get it is fair to good value. The location is great for skiing and not too far from downtown. The place is a bit dated, but the staff is very nice and they offer a free shuttle service to the ariport, so they offer good value.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would highly recommend to our friends and associates. We were upgraded and our room was beautiful, clean, very large and comfortable.

had a hard time finding the hotel, because it was not the same name as on hotels.com. i think that is because too many bad reviews under the real name so they used another. it was not a condo as stated, it was a hotel room. the lamps were falling apart, the chairs in the hallway were dirty with stains. the elevator very dirty. it was a non smoking hotel, […] but people were smoking on the balcony below our window so the smoke would come in our window and a/c. called the desk numerous times, finally they had to shout at them from the ground. would not stay there again Lees meer

Great room, beds were great to sleep on. The hotel itself needed updating but the rooms were clean and nice. Would stay here again. Good value.
