Super hotel in bruisende wereldstad. Prachtig hotel met mooie kamers van alle gemakken voorzien. Comfortabel, groot king bed. Mooie badkamer met bad & douche met regenshower. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet met variatie uit alle windstreken. Enig minpuntje is dat de bar al om 11 uur dicht was. Verder perfecte service.

Afgelopen maart (2012) heb ik met mijn zoon in het Harbor Plaza Resort City geslapen. Het is een prima en schoon hotel. De afstand naar het centrum is een dik half uur. Maar het hotel heeft een shuttle bus. De kosten hiervan zijn ca. 2,50 voor een enkel ritje. Ook vanaf de luchthaven kun je met een shuttle bus van het hotel naar het hotel komen. Kosten hiervan zijn 10,00 euro. Duurt ca. 3 kwartier. Prima geregeld dus. De kamer is schoon en de grootte viel me niet tegen. Goede badkamer met ligbad en douche in het bad. De bedden zijn wel kei hard. Dit hotel is aan te raden maar let wel op de afstand naar het centrum toe. Je gaat niet even snel vanuit het centrum terug naar je hotel en dan weer naar het centrum toe. We kunnen het hotel niet vergelijken, aangezien we voor de eerste maal in Hong Kongen op bezoek gingen; alleszins adembenemend zicht op de haven vanaf onze kamer op de 62e verdieping (hadden gevraagd zo hoog mogelijk te liggen) Ligging in de New Territories, doch wegens aanwezigheid van de werkelijk sublieme metro-lijnen en de goedkope taxi-service geen enkel probleem om alle interessante plaatsen in Hong Kong en Kowloon snel te bereiken; ontbijt nogal Engels-Aziatisch maar dat is begrijpelijk natuurlijk; mooi-ogend design in de badkamer niet altijd praktisch maar voor de rest prima kamer met kluis

goed hotel, eenvoudig te bereiken vanaf vliegveld met shuttle, spreken goed Engels, internet in lobby is snel en gratis, op kamer is wireless voor klein bedrag ook erg goed. Kamers zijn wat klein, maar voorzien van een heerlijke douche.

Het ligging van het hotel is wel afgelegen maar met openbaar vervoer is goed te doen. Het Tsing Yi shopping mall is niet zo ver van de hotel met de mini bus kom je in 5 min. bij de shopping mall.
Ligging.
Cosmopolitan Hotel Hong Kong ligt in het centrum van Hongkong, op loopafstand van Queen Elizabeth Stadium en Racebaan Happy Valley. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Causeway Bay Shopping Plaza en Congres- en tentoonstellingscentrum van Hong Kong.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel voor zaken biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals een restaurant, een koffietentje/café en een bar/lounge. Een draadloze internetverbinding is gratis beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes. Dit hotel met met 4 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen waaronder een businesscentrum, een vergader-/conferentieruimte en een secretariaat. Het personeel kan op verzoek een huwelijksservice, evenementencatering en bedrijfsgerelateerde dienstverleningen regelen. Elke kamer heeft flatscreen televisies met kanalen via satelliet en betaalfilms. Elke accommodatie beschikt over een bureau, een kluisje op de kamer en een telefoon met directe buitenlijn met voicemail. Bij betaling van een toeslag kunnen gasten op de kamers gebruikmaken van een snelle internetverbinding (draadloos of via kabel) . Alle bedden hebben een donzen dekbed en donsdekens. Een kussenkeuzemenu is beschikbaar. Elke kamer heeft een koelkast en een minibar. Elke badkamer heeft bad of douche met een handdouche, kamerjassen, een haardroger en pantoffels. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een waterkoker/koffiezetapparaat en gratis mineraalwater. Ontdek de betere thuisproducten, mahjongcentra en de verleidelijke bars. Probeer Johnston en Luard Road voor goedkope kleren en Tai Yen Street voor speelgoed. Bowen Drive is de plek om te gaan joggen of beroemdheden te spotten.

Good hotel near the horse course and on walking distance from Time Square shopping mall. The rooms are very nice ( not too big but this is normal for Hong Kong) and we had a splendid view on the 17th floor. Good breakfast with chinese and western meals. Good service from the staff also. "reinvention"
When I made the booking I knew this was a convenient location for the things our family wanted to do in Hong Kong. I only found out it was the former Xinua News Building. I began to anticipate rabbit warren sized rooms. We were happy to see that the rooms were simply, but nicely decorated. We had two queen size beds; they were firm and comfortable. […] The bathroom was a bit plain and there was a problem with the shower curtain/bath tub design as the water went everywhere - easily solved by laying out the towels before showering. Breakfast was included, but was nothing special - the dim sum was terrible. Regular restaurant service (lunch and dinner) was a much higher standard and has a good reputation amongst people living in Hong Kong. Wifi is an extra charge in the rooms but free in the lobby and hotel restaurant so the guests are all busy on their electronic devices. The hotel staff were alert to guest reqirements without being overly solicitous. This hotel doesn't have the bells and whistles of 5 star hotels in Hong Kong but was very comfortable for the week we spent in Hong Kong. Convenient shuttles, too! Lees meer

WE HAD A TERRIFIC STAY AT TO COSMOPOLITAN. THE HOTEL WAS GOOD AND THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD. NOT OVER THE TOP BUT GOOD EDIBLE FOOD. THE SHUTTLE BUS WAS EXCELLENT. WHAT A GREAT SERVICE. THE TRAM WENT DOWN TOWN FROM OUTSIDE THE FRONT DOOR. WE COULD WALK DOWN TOWN FOR OUR EVENING MEAL AND IT WAS A 10 MINUTE WALK. The room was small and the shower was ridiculous. I thought I was in a small boat, not a hotel, otherwise it was good.

Very expensive room rate, but more importantly the hotel was clean although the rooms on the small size. I did not like the shower stalls which were too small and very small. Otherwise good hotel, due to fair over priced.

Ideal hotel for going to the Races but very busy, small rooms but very clean, cheaper rooms at the rear have no window, just frosted glass, very comfy bed, an awkward 15 mins walk from the nearest metro station, best to arrive by taxi, hotel was very busy with international 1 and 2 night stay tourists, but it's literally across the street from the Happy […] Valley Racetrack. I have stayed at this hotel before. Service is good but they always seem to be busy. The shower is tiny but everything worked and the room was clean. The one thing I noticed on both my stays here, it is difficult to get a taxi. During rush hour you will stand there for a long time waiting for an available taxi. This hotel is in a decent location at a very reasonable price. The hotel is located in Wan Chai which is a bit of a distance from the Central area but they run various shutttles or you can get a #10 bus downtown in 15 minutes. The hotel staff were very helpful in answering our questions.

It was nice to stay in a hotel that felt comfortable while being affordable. The rooms are average size (reasonably large compared to some hoitels I have stayed in Hong Kong). The Cosmopolitan is handy to Wanchai and Causeway Bay shopping areas without being right in the midst of things, much more relaxing. It is a nice hotel, room was comfortable and […] very clean, and the bathroom was a much better size than many (I have previously had to stand on the toilet to shut the bathroom door just so I could get into the shower in some hotels). They have a shuttle bus which goes into Wanchai and to the MTR every 1/2 hour or so though it is only really a 5 minute walk anyway. "Not bad for the price but not spectacular"
Tidy and not too old hotel opposite the racecourse. Bit of a struggle to get to when wheeling bags from the nearest MTR Station given the stairs and tunnels. A good 5-10 minute walk to Times Square and the Causeway Bay station.

Good lodation. 步行10分钟可以到达香港时代广场,酒店有飞机场的shuttle coach. 也有到时代广场的 coach. Crew are very nice. But the air inside the room makes me short of breath, if u do not like airconditioning. In general, based on the price, its good

Stayed there 7 nights. Upgraded to city view which included breakfast. Great hotel, great value. Breakfast selection was decent but it was convenient to have it ready downstairs. We didn't leave the hotel in the morning hungry which was awesome. Hotel provided four different types of bottled water for free everyday. "Excellent service"
For the price we paid on Hotels.com, the hotel was above our expectations. Breakfast was superb,the view was breathtaking and the staff were always on hand to sort out any questions we had. Thoroughly recommended to anyone.

A small room with inadequate furniture located between a graveyard and heavily used tunnel on the one side and screeching lifts on the other certainly does not deserve any praise. The lobby was so unattractive that even a short stay in there was stessful. There was no room for taxis to stop in front of the hotel that made getting in or out of taxis […] dangerous. "From excellent to average, in a month"
A month ago I had the most excellent stay at this hotel. Now my view is not so rosy. We came quite late, so we got a standard room, next to the elevators, and a tinted window prohibiting us from looking out, on the 7th floor...no mentioning of this when boking. So please be aware you ask about details of your room in order not to be disappointed

Didn't tell us we had to pay for every local phone calls. We were at Nathan Hotel 5 days before I moved into Cosmopolitan. The former didn't charge us phone calls and was better equipped and roomier. I didn't like the closet which is too small for 2 people and hard to get clothes out. Pillows are too soft and I felt my head just sank into it. Please tell the hotel to place a stainless steel bowl of ice in the centre of the bowl of butter so that it wouldn't melt.The breakfast experience would be much better. The breakfast served was basic but with good quality and made everyone felt at home.

The hotel is a little small and old, location is not the bet or easiest to access but it was relatively cheap. Also be aware that all standard rooms face a cemetery and there is no choice.
