Harbor Lights Resort ligt aan het strand in Frankfort, dicht bij Frankfort Beach. Een andere bezienswaardigheid in de buurt is Point Betsie-vuurtoren.
Accommodatievoorzieningen.
Slenter buiten over het strand van dit appartement om helemaal tot rust te komen. Harbor Lights Resort heeft een binnenzwembad en een spabad. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een wasserij, een picknickplaats en een open haard in de lobby.
Hotelkamers.
Harbor Lights Resort heeft 50 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker en een föhn. Elke kamer is voorzien van een draadloze internetverbinding. Elke televisie heeft premiumkanalen via kabel/satelliet.
Een huishoudservice is dagelijks beschikbaar. De renovatie van alle kamers werd in mei 2010 voltooid.

"Harbor Lights on Lake Michigan shore"
Our 2-night stay was very comfortable. The location was perfect for viewing the lake and beautiful sunsets.This hotel sits right on the lake and our room was only steps from the shore. Our room didn't have a view of the lake, but we didn't spend much time inside. Our goal was to enjoy the beauty of the entire area and lakeshore. Our room had a refrigerator […] and microwave and was very clean. The staff was very welcoming. The hotel was located a block from restaurants and small shops. The town is quiet this time of year, but beautiful with fall colors. We booked this location based on other reviews and were very pleased with our stay. Lees meer

"Not as nice as I hoped"
The reviews I read were pretty positive so I thought this would be a nice place to stay, but I was definitely disappointed. They put us in this dark room underneath the stairs so when we looked out our one tiny window it looked at the underside of the steps - not even the parking lot. There was no information about Frankfort in the room, the television […] was standard for the early 1990s (I wanted to watch football game that night since I wasn't sure what else to do in the town), and the bathroom was quite small. Perhaps the most disgusting issue were the toe nails in my bed - information that was relayed to the staff and more or less shrugged off. The only positive is how close it is to the downtown, which is absolutely lovely. Frankfort is definitely worth the visit, just stay somewhere else. Lees meer

My niece's wedding was made VERY special by the wonderful people, accommodations and personnel at Harbor Lights Resort ! Every detail was taken care of and the atmosphere was magical ! "Great place to stay"
We were delighted with the hotel. Our room had a balcony overlooking the bay.The beach was beautiful. The breakfast that was included in the price was delicious with lots of options. It was an easy walk to the downtown area. We would definitely stay again. With all hotels, we wish they had firmer mattresses.
"Harbor Lights Resort- Luxury Condo"
We stayed in July at the Harbor Lights Resort in one of the luxury condos. All I can say is that this was a beautiful condo with everything you need in the condo.. 2 minute walk to the beach and a 3 minute walk into downtown Frankfurt. wonderful place to stay.. looking forward to going again.

We stayed at this hotel and it was great as it was clean and well-maintained. The indoor pool was very nice at 82 degrees and the hot tub was very clean also. It is right on the beach and within walking distance to the quaint town of Frankfort.
"Harbor Lights Resort-Perfect location for the 4th"
We parked the car after checking in and really didnt need to use it until we left after checking out. We were back in our room 5 minutes after the fireworks on the beach. Walked to all of the Frankfort eateries along with the activities on Betsie Bay. You get what you pay for. Especially in this case.

It is nice to find such a simple, clean, and relatively inexpensive place in so awesome a location. I've read other reviews saying "need more amenities", etc. Well, if that's what you need, then you should stay at a more expensive place. For the money, you won't find a cleaner place. Our stay at Harbor Lights Resort was very enjoyable. The resort is steps away from Lake Michigan and just a short walk from the downtown restaurants and shops. "Far from what I expected"
The room had mold growing in the vanity cabinet There were strips of bug tape hanging from the ceiling The A/C did not work The only positive of the stay was that they let me check in early, other than that it was the worst hotel experience to date for me.
"Small market, needs new hotels built"
This is a great location on the water front and as you can expect when there is no other competition from a major brand, things get a little rough over time and people put up with stuff they wouldn't otherwise. Long wait to check in, while the other guests have the staff look up the phone numbers of their other rooms because the hotel has no central […] switch board and uses regular phone numbers for each room. Then, guess what.. my bed had been slept in and still had bloody stained sheets!.. of course I didn't notice this until bed time at 11:30pm, and by that point.. they were nice enough to offer to upgrade me to a suite.. but who wants to move at 11:30? Its not like they offer to come get your stuff and move it for you. 2nd.. if you ever check into a hotel that has toilet plungers sitting in plain view in every bathroom.. thats not real classy is it? Gratefully, I had no problem, but really kind of tacky. Old rooms, old place, nice and neat enough, but this really needs to be completely redone and operated by a major resort company. Lees meer
"Needs Improvement"
No amenities which is a big surprise for a pricey room. Not even a pencil or pad of paper! Bed was made.....but linen was not changed and was filthy and disgusting!Hotel made no reduction for this glaring error.Location is great but way overpriced for interior quality and zero amenities.
"Overpriced"
Location is great:within walking distance to town, food and beach. But no amenities which was a big drawback. No paper, pencils, shampoo etc. Over priced probably due to location.

Hotel was conveniently located close to restaurants and shopping, beach was 50 yards away. Hotel staff was very helpful with recommendations.
"Location is great; Amenities lacking"
While this was a nice place to stay, the price of the room (originally thought of as terrific) soon matched the expected quality of the hotel. In-room amenities were limited (no shampoo or any extras other than one bar of soap), the hot water fluctuated with every flush of a nearby toilet, and it was questionable how well-vacuumed the room was upon […] finding half a snack cracker just under the bed. The under-counter bottle opener also is inconveniently located, which makes it inoperable. On the other hand, there's a great cafe nearby (the Crescent), the hotel's ON the beach, and the walk to the lighthouse can be quite pleasant even in the rain. The mournful foghorn wasn't loud enough to be disturbing at all, and I wished we could have heard it from our room (#42). It was a great stopover hotel, but I wouldn't have wanted to stay there longer than a night unless the rate was considerably lowered. Lees meer
