The Holland Hotel bevindt zich in Jersey City, dicht bij Newport Mall, Colgate Clock en Hamiltonpark. In de buurt liggen ook Winkelcentrum Newport Center en Christ Hospital.

Gasten krijgen gratis ontbijt. Naast koffie in de lobby en gratis kranten in de lobby heeft The Holland Hotel voorzieningen als een safeloket bij de receptie. In openbare ruimtes is een gratis snelle internetverbinding (draadloos en via kabel) beschikbaar. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere zelf parkeren, een magnetron in de lobby en airconditioning in openbare ruimtes. Gasten kunnen gratis parkeren.
Hotelkamers.
The Holland Hotel heeft 71 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een föhn en een klokradio. Gasten hebben een gratis draadloze internetverbinding op de kamer. Elke televisie heeft kanalen via de kabel.
Elke kamer is voorzien van een magnetron en een koelkast. Bovendien kun je op verzoek gebruikmaken van voorzieningen zoals een strijkplank/strijkijzer en een telefonische wekdienst. Een huishoudservice is dagelijks beschikbaar.

Vlakbij Times Square, beter kan niet. Ideaal hotel ook met kinderen. Kamers zijn prima, geen geluidsoverlast van straatverkeer. Behulpzaam personeel. Echt een aanrader.

Mijn dochter (10 jaar) en ik hebben eind april een week in Cassa Hotel and Residences gelogeerd. Dit naar volle tevredenheid! Het hotel ligt op ca. 4 minuten loopafstand van Times Square, de kamer was niet groot, maar prima voor ons verblijf. Er werd keurig schoongemaakt en al het personeel was uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Men is momenteel bezig met enkele verbouwingen aan het hotel (waar wij overigens totaal geen last van hadden!) die het hotel mijns inziens alleen nog maar mooier en completer in dienstverlening zullen maken. Wij hopen volgend jaar week een week in Cassa Hotel and Residences te mogen verblijven en raden iedereen die een goed hotel zoekt in New York dit hotel van harte aan.

Goed hotel met superlocatie. Kregen gratis een update naar een gerenoveerde kamer met 2 bedden. Qua kwaliteit en prijs verhouding kan je niet beter zitten.Wij zouden er zeker terug komen, je bent er alleen maar om te slapen. En waar iedereen over schrijft dat de verwarmingspijpen verroest zijn boeit ons echt niet. Personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.Locatie om de hoek van Times Square.

Dit hotel is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Dichtbij de PATH trein naar NYC. Ontbijt en kamer waren prima!

Hotel ligt op 10 minuten lopen van het treinstation. Vandaar ben je binnen een kwartier in NYC, Manhattan. Hierdoor een goedkoop alternatief voor de dure hotels in Manhattan zelf. Pluspunt is ook dat je gratis kunt parkeren. Ligt wel dicht bij de Holland Tunnel, je hoort dus wel het nodige autoverkeer voorbijgaan. Ligging t.o.v. verkeer hopeloos, maar t.o.v. Manhattan en opnbaar vervoer OK. Aan straat zijde schitterend uitzicht op Files naar Holland tunnel, een unieke beleving voor de liefhebber, is niet echt storend met raam dicht. Wij hadden er tenminste geen probleem mee. Prima plek en waar voor je geld; schoon en aardige mensen. 30 min van Newark airport. 1 nadeel: ligt aan drukke weg die naar de Holland tunnel leidt dus kamers aan de straatkant behoorlijk wat lawaai + files

Dit was de 3e keer dat ik in dit hotel heb geslapen. Ik zit jaarlijks 4 weken in de VS en heb al heel hotels/motels gehad. Voor deze prijs en deze locatie absoluut doen en niet verder zoeken!! Het is schoon, comfortabel en uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Ga niet op zoek naar hotels in Manhattan , neem de Holland motor lodge!!!

Het is een eenvoudig hotel met redelijke comfort. De medewerkers zijn erg aardig en behulpzaam. 's Morgens is er een ontbijt met koffie donuts croisants en fruit. "Zoek niet verder!"
Ga niet lopen zoeken naar een hotel in New York zelf, zeker niet als je een auto bij je hebt. Dit hotel is perfect en je kunt je auto gratis parkeren. Voor 10 dollar kun je 3 keer op en neer naar Manhattan met de metro (path). Metrostation is op 10 min. lopen van hotel en de omgeving is erg veilig en goed verlicht! This was a great hotel. For our honeymoon, we wanted just a simple hotel to go to NYC. The staff was great and super helpful. The room was clean and more comfortable then I was expecting. The bathroom was a little old but very clean. A 10 min walk to the PATH station and we zipped by to NYC everyday. The breakfast was pretty good but get there early! […] Guests clean it out by 9:30am and all you're left with is the fruit and some cereal. You're also allowed to take it back to your room which is nice since not every hotel allows that. Like everyone else who commented on this hotel, I was very satisfied with this hotel. The hotel is small in size but if your only here to sleep, the size of it won't bother you. It is close to the PATH, the mall and it is a safe neihbourhood. The hotel is very clean and the staff is pleasant and helpful.

Even round trip to Manhattan, it's only $4 bucks and you'll get to 33rd ST in less than half hr! Breakfast goes like until noon and people it's very friendly. I will go back. Thank you

We used the Holland Hotel as home base for the few days we were in the area. It was within walking distance to Carlos Bakery (20 min) as well as the various transportation options to NYC. On day 2 we took transportation into the city to visit Ground Zero Memorial and Liberty State Park. The PATH and subway are both a 20 min. walk from the hotel. Quentin the Manager and Michael were outstanding clean Hotel no frills like a pool or hot tub but great for a place to stay near New York without the higher prices. Very helpful giving directions and advice about local area cannot thank them enough...
"Stay here only if you are forced to..."
I wanted to try this hotel as it was very close to my client location. It was a serious mistake. Actually for less daily rate I could have stayed at few other hotels very closeby that are much better. I cannot imagine ever staying at this hotel.

You can't go wrong when your hotel is outside a major tunnel to NY, near a reasonably priced grocery store, and has access to one of the biggest liquor stores in Jersey. The condition and cleanliness is great. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Within reasonable distance to transit, liquor, and groceries. Great staff. Rooms are older but CLEAN! Stayed here over New Years, and would stay again any time!
The front desk clerk was extremely knowledgeable & friendly, and it's only a short walk to the PATH station. If you're looking for an inexpensive lodging option for NYC and are willing to take a short train into the City, this is a great choice.

We were visiting Carlo's Bakery and NYC. This hotel is conveniently located to Carlo's, the Holland Tunnel, and the PATH. "Do Not Stay"
The Holland Lodge, was not at all what I paid for, people drinking outside, the entire place smells of cigarrets, astrays all over the place. The person in front of me that was cheking in was a "regular" whatever that means. I will never stay in that dump again!

99% happy, service was impeccable and very friendly. Very close to PATH train to NY. Staff very accomodating. Only complaint, free Wi-Fi slower than dirt, times unusable. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel.

Located near PATH station: PATH train gets you to Manhattan center in about 15-20 mins, and the station is about 5-7 min walk from the hotel (though you really need to know where to go to when you arrive there for the first time). It's not easy to find the way to hotel from PATH station (Newport) when you first arrive there. I requested an iron and ironing board - it never showed up. There was a cigarette burn in the comforter. The room was a smoking room so it had a bit of a dank smell. The hotel staff was nice and helpful, the room was old but clean and comfortable, despite the proximity of the Holland Tunnel access road (windows were soundproof). Location is perfect, at 10-minutes walk from the PATH station to Manhattan. Great value for the bucks. Would definitely recommend this hotel and go again.

It is clean and staff was nice and it is about a five to 10 minute walk to the Path station (depends on if you have small children). It's not glamorous, but it is clean and right next to the Tunnel and PATH trains to NYC. You get free parking (!) plus a very good free breakfast, coffee/tea at all times, and free wireless internet. We went to go to Carlo's Bakery, which is was very convenient to visit. If we were heading into NY as well, it would have been unbelievably convenient as well. The tunnel is right there and public transportation right across the street.
