The room was big. The view was wonderful. Having coffee on the balcony was very nice. Now, the beds were awful and so were the pillows. The bathroom needed a good cleaning. The staff was wonderful, friendly and very helpful. I guess for the money, it was a good value; however, I think I'll spend a little more money.

Overall ok but was extremely cramped and had only one chair in room which made it quite uncomfortable for one of the guests.

This is the 3rd or 4th time we have stayed here this year. Overall a good hotel and great value. One complaint that I have - please reduce the amount of air freshener used in the rooms. It has bothered us in the past but this trip it was exceptionally strong. So much so that we had trouble sleeping the first night - and that was after leaving the door […] open all afternoon. Everything was fine, the staff friendly and helpful. The only complaint is the elevator, kinda funky and noisey

Our second stay here - same room. Very good value for a room. Pleasant and friendly staff. Rooms are large, clean (carpet needs cleaning bad) and have great views. This time they came close to running out of breakfast food one day and one night of our stay was also the first time we had neighbors... The rooms are typical thin walled. excellent for the price. clean large rooms. inernet did not work.stayed 6 nights. good breakfast

I came in the dark of night and found my room clean and warm. Woke up to a beautiful view from my window of the Majestic North Carolina Mountains. Both Night clerk and Morning clerk were so nice and accommodating. Would love to go back and stay again soon. Thanks Super 8.

Very clean. View was great. For a motel, it had much of the hotel feel, with very friendly, helpful staff. Nice clean facility, fresh coffee all day. We were very pleased.

We had a reservation at a different hotel in Waynesville, with a higher rating and cost. When we got there, we found it to be very unsatisfactory. I called Hotels.com and asked for different accommendations. They were able to find a room for my husband and me at the Super 8 in Waynesville. This is a very busy season with everyone wanting to see the […] Autumn colors in the mountains and not much was available. I didn't expect much but at least it would be better than where we were. My husband and I were very surprised and happy when we pulled up to the Super 8. The location is good, the lobby staff is very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and well lit and had a microwave and refrigerator. On the negative side, it is located on a busy road and we heard a lot of road traffic. The hotel was very nice, great view, our stay could not have better

Great view, friendly staff, and clean rooms.

Breakfast was included although reservation said not. Very convenient from I 40 - between NC beach and home in Nashville.

Room was very musty when we arrived; however, didn't take long to cool. Room was fine for a one night stay but be prepared to awake early because noise was quite loud when others were leaving. Overall, I would recommend to others.

Convenient location, good room setup overall. Wish the write up of this place had shown it was a Motel instead of a Hotel (no interior hallways.) Still, was pretty happy with the place until we noticed our feet were turned horribly black from something like soot all over the floor. Complained to the staff and asked for them to make sure something was […] done during our stay (4 days), but nothing ever was as far as I could tell. Did not have coffee for the in-room provided coffee pots (promised to bring some up to our rooms, but didn't show up or call.) Beds weren't quite as bad as sleeping on concrete, but it was close. Stopped over night here and for the money this was a great place. Has balcony's or porches for each room and a rocking chairs. Great view, and clean. Breakfast included, nothing special but nice and fresh. Will go back.

This hotel was clean and comfortable and less than 3 miles from the Biltmore Estate and Gardens. Perfect!

Staff was very nice. View was great. Had a private balcony with view of the mountains and highway. Bed did need to be changed, sagged in the middle. Overall great rate for a nice hotel.

This was great value for the money. Every room above ground level has a view.

This hotel is fresh paint and clean. A good view of the mountains. Shower head was fantastic, good smooth, plentiful flow.

The room had an over powering smell of a cleaning solution and baby powder, but I couldnt figure out where they had used it. The bed was kind of like sleeping on a piece of cardboard and the pillows were lumpy and super disgusting. I did go out and buy a new pillow special for this one night. The carpet in front of the sink was sticky, the bathroom […] floor was dirty as were the walls. The owner obviously does not put any money back into this property. We have never stayed at a SUPER 8 before and was shocked at the size of the room. The hotel was clean, the rooms were SUPER SIZED and the staff were very polite and courteous.

I arrived at the hotel at 12:30 AM. I had a lot of luggage because I was on the last leg of a long trip. I was assigned a room on the third floor. After checking in, I was told that the elevator was not working. So I had to drag a lot of luggage up 3 flghts of stairs. The desk clerk told me that hotels.com had been notified but if so, hotels.com never […] notified me. Apparently the elevator had been broken for 3 days when I got there and after 8 days, it was still not repaired. Once I got to the room, everything was satisfactory except for some dirty linen that had been left on the floor. When I checked out, I was told that I would be charged for an extra night because I had booked through the 13th and left on the 12th. I understand that this was my mistake so I was okay with that but I asked the clerk to refund at least one night's stay because of the broken elevator. She said I would have to take this up with hotels.com. I conttacted hotels.com the next day who contacted the hotel. The hotel said I had not checked out on the 12th and according to their records I was still in their system. So I called the hotel back and told them that I had most CERTAINLY checked out on the 12tth and had turned in my keys and resented being called a liar!! I have complained to Super 8 corporate about the broken elevator but so far they have done nothing. I am supposed to hear back by the 21st of the month. The irony is that I stayed there once before and was satisfied and have recommended this property to others. Because of the way I was treated, I doubt if I will stay there again. Lees meer

The hotel was fine for a last minute trip during the holiday weekend. The rate was fine and the location was conveniently located, as well as it overlooked the mountains. Very nice scenery. Room could have been vacuumed much better as there was some remnants of the last guest by bed. Otherwise very pleasant staff and I would stay again.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Staff was able to accommodate our need for a first floor room due to a problem with the elevator. Would definitely stay again due to the view and staff.

The location was perfect with regard to the event I was attending. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The price was reasonable for the type of room. One thing to note was that breakfast was not be ready until 6 but I needed to get something to eat at 5:30 am. The staff was very accommodating.

The hotel room was a little cramped, yet nice. It is the only hotel I have ever seen with no iron or ironing board. It has a great view, especially for a super 8

Very nice hotel and staff. Very clean rooms. The view was also great and in a very nice part of town. Lots of stores and places to eat near the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and I plan on staying there whenever I visit Waynesville, NC

Sehr empfehlenswertes Super 8 Hotel auf einem Hügel oberhalt eines High-Ways mit schöner Aussicht auf die Berge. Einige Fast-Food-Lokale im Umkreis von 3 Auto-Minuten.
