Novotel Berlin Am Tiergarten ligt heel handig vlak bij de luchthaven in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf in Berlijn, dicht bij Technische universiteit, Bondskanselarij en Staatsbibliotheek van Berlijn. In de buurt liggen ook Dierentuin van Berlijn en Rijksdag.

Novotel Berlin Am Tiergarten heeft een volledig uitgeruste spa, een healthclub en een turks stoombad. In openbare ruimtes is een gratis snelle internetverbinding (via kabel) beschikbaar, terwijl de accommodatie over een computer met internetverbinding beschikt. Dit hotel met 4 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen zoals een 24-uurs businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes en een technische helpdesk. Dit hotel met een spa heeft 2 bars/lounges en een restaurant. Het personeel kan op verzoek hulp bij excursies/tickets, een cateringdienst voor evenementen en hulp bij excursies regelen. Elke kamer heeft een balkon of terras met uitzicht op de stad of het binnenplein.Novotel Berlin Am Tiergarten heeft 274 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een (laptop)kluis en een minibar. Alle bedden hebben een memoryfoam-matras met luxe beddengoed. Een kussenkeuzemenu is beschikbaar. Tegen betaling kan een snelle internetverbinding (draadloos of via kabel) worden aangeboden. Elke kamer heeft een flatscreentelevisie met satellietzenders en betaalfilms. Elke accommodatie biedt een bureau, een kluis en een telefoon met directe buitenlijn. Elke badkamer heeft een aparte badkuip en douche met een handdouche, make-up / scheerspiegels, een föhn en pantoffels.
Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een gratis krant en een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker. Bovendien kun je op verzoek gebruikmaken van voorzieningen zoals massagebehandelingen op de kamer, een strijkplank/strijkijzer en hypoallergeen beddengoed. Een huishoudservice is dagelijks beschikbaar.

Leuk hotel overal dichtbij alles op loopafstand zelfs met 2 kids van 10 en 13! Parkeer gelegenheid is minder al hadden wij geluk en hadden een mooi gratis plekje. Super 3 dagen gehad.

Dit hotel bevindt zich op de ideale plek in Berlijn. Je stapt de deur uit en je bent in DE winkelstraat van Berlijn, restaurants zijn er volop in de buurt en je kunt heerlijk (en goedkoop) ontbijten of een broodje halen bij back WERK. We hebben in het hotel daarom niet ontbeten, en ook verder niet gegeten, en dat geldt volgens mij voor veel gasten. Binnen 15 minuten ben je te voet bij de Brandenburger Tor, en de rivier de Spree is dichtbij. Ook de U- of S-Bahn is bij het hotel. Handig!! Dit hotel is anders dan andere hotels, je kijkt namelijk direct vanuit je hotelkamer in de lobby. Kamers zijn stil, je hoort wel de airco. Jammer was dat er maar een paar zenders waren op de televisie. Doordat het hotel Spaans is, zijn er veel Spanjaarden in het hotel, en bijvoorbeeld weinig Nederlanders. Het hotelpersoneel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ik (en mijn dochter van 8 jaar) zouden er een volgende keer zo weer naar toe gaan.

Mooi hotel met mooie grote kamer dicht bij de grote winkelstraten en metro naast de deur. Prima overvloedig ontbijt. Wel een wat smal bed met erg harde matras. Prima hotel voor een stedentrip naar Berlijn.

Super verblijf gehad in deze super stad! Meteen om de hoek van de belangrijkste winkelstraat en het KaDeWe. Historisch centrum is makkelijk per bus/metro of te voet te bereiken. Het hotel heeft een leuke binnenplaats waar je lekker buiten wat kunt drinken. De kamers zijn net en modern (geldt trouwens voor het gehele hotel).
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag in rekening worden gebracht.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.
Speciale verzoeken kunnen, indien mogelijk, bij het inchecken worden ingewilligd. Hiervoor kunnen extra kosten in rekening worden gebracht. Speciale verzoeken kunnen niet worden gegarandeerd.

De Tiergarten, een groenstrook in het centrum van Berlijn, is het grootste park van de stad. In het gelijknamige stadsdeel vind je de Reichstag, de Brandenburger Tor, de Siegessäule, het Bellevue Palace, het Sowjetisches Ehrenmal en de dierentuin. De uitgebreide renovatie van het regeringskwartier langs de rivier de Spree en de Potsdamer Platz en het centraal station strekt zich uit tot grond die vroeger tot het grensgebied behoorde. "Prima Hotel met kinderen"
Een heerlijk weekendje Berlijn gehad, mede dankzij dit Novotel. Gunstige ligging, prima voor de kinderen en ook belangrijk zeer betaalbaar. Goed ontbijt buffet.

Novotel tiergarten is een aanrader om Berlijn te ontdekken. Wij hadden een familiekamer die ruim genoeg en zeer schoon was.Ideale ligging tegenover station. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel en zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet.Eigen parkeergarage is ook ideaal.Kortom een goede keus.

Het Novotel ligt naast de S-Bahn waarmee je binnen een paar minuten naar het Stadtmitte reist. Comfortabel hotel vlakbij het park rond de Tiergarten. Prettige buurt, goed bereikbaar per auto. Voor mijn kinderen was het ontbijtbuffet iedere ochtend weer een feest. Hotel heeft leen leuke mix zakelijke cliënten en toeristen. We stayed here in a small family room with our 14 and 11 year old children. Great value and ideal location, next to station and Tiergarten park. Friendly, English speaking staff. Superb buffet breakfast.

"lovely hotel, ok location"
this hotel was absolutely gorgeous. huge rooms, nice spaces, and a nice rooftop lounging area. it was also right next to the tiergarten train stop and the tiergarten (beautiful big park; great for running!). however, there was NOTHING else around the hotel. not even a place to grab a bottle of water. walking 15 mins through the park, or taking the […] train one stop away was pretty easy, though. and at the zoo stop there is a grocery store, coffees, etc. service was ok here, though not super amazing. the maids that cleaned the room each day were hurried and not very thorough (forgetting one of the garbage cans, or not re-stocking something in the bathroom). however, overall, i would recommend this hotel. i had friends staying at the crowne plaza, and i saw their (more expensive) rooms. their rooms were half the size, felt dingy, and were much less clean: my friend found garbage in his crowne plaza ice bucket. so, yes, the berlin novotel is a good option! we enjoyed so much this hotel, it is very good and high standard in all respects, including an excellent breakfast buffet which is included in hotel rate. Also the metro station is just across the street from hotel entrance, which was great. We stayed there thre three nights and it was a gorgeous hotel. It was located just at the entrance to the Tiergarten. Just a beautiful stroll across a bridge and through the park and you're in the middle of town. Word to the wise: there is a flea market on the weekends just outside the door of the hotel - which was pretty fun - so don't miss that one. […] They do tend to nickel and dime you at every turn - which is typical with higher rating hotels. I think we paid $15/day for internet useage etc. Here's a great hint if you drive your own car: When we arrived, we saw a strip of parking in the middle divide in front of the hotel - and we parked there - for free -- for three days - and skipped paying for parking at the hotel. While the hotel itself was very good, we were very disappointed with the location. There was nowhere to eat and there were no shops close by, the only saving grace was that it was next to the S Bahn Station. The staff didn't go out of their way to be either friendly or helpful. Breakfast was very good but there were no chocolate covered strawberries […] that we saw mentioned in other reviews, this kids were very put out!!! Being a regular customer of budget accommodation, I don't mind sleeping in bunk beds and shared washrooms in sometimes dodgy locations. I was hesitant to book a hotel instead, but if more hotels were as affordable as this one I would be a little more willing to try this option in future. The first pleasant surprise came when trying to find it. Getting […] off the train at the Hauptbahnhof in Berlin meant the journey was only two S-Bahn stops along the central line to the destination. As accustomed, I took out my mobile along the way and searched for the path to the hotel from the station, but as the train pulled in, the Novotel logo came into view. Ah, problem solved! Second pleasant surprise was the surroundings. Right out the doorstep was the Tiergarten with its open zoo concept and many meadows on which the locals were enjoying the holidays. A restaurant just across the street offered an opportunity to relax in the sun and enjoy some typical local food, and just one stop further down the S-Bahn line was the Zoologischer Garten station which was near to the shopping district and offered amenities like a pharmacy and money changer as well as a supermarket that was open even on Sundays. The rooms were well-furnished and comfortable, and the sight of clean sheets and covers was of course no surprise this time, but very much expected of a brand-name hotel. The washroom was separate from the toilet - a feature common to many European hostels and hotels - which made sense, but the absence of a wash basin in the toilet was a little inconvenient. Everything was sparkling clean though, so it made it easier to overlook the slight inconvenience. Free Wi-Fi was not offered at this hotel, which was somewhat mitigated by the presence of the two terminals in the lobby. Internet access in the lobby is limited to two 20-minute sessions, with a mandatory registration procedure beforehand and a small feedback form after. "We loved it!"
Novotel am Tiergarten was an excellent experience. We were three generations and stayed for 5 nights. The staff is knowledgeable, cheerful and always helpful. The price was decent and commensurate with the quality of the hotel. There is only one thing to wish for: The toilet and the shower are in separate spaces but there is no sink in the toilet space, […] so you have no way of washing hands if the bathroom is being used by someone else. "Best Place to Stay while visiting Berlin"
We are a American Family of four and this hotel was the only one that provided us, a room capable of sleeping the whole family in one room at a really great price which included an outstanding American style breakfast every morning. Parking was free and easy outside the hotel. The location was outstanding with the S-Bahn accross the street and the zoo […] and other major attractions within a 10 min walk through the park. there was also a large Flea market set up on the weekends right outside the Hotels door. This hotel was fantastic. You literally walk across the street to the S-Bahn which is then a straight shot to Friedrichstr., Hackescher Markt, and Alexanderplatz, yet you could hear no trains from the hotel. The rooftop terrace offered an amazing view of Berlin as well and is a good place to relax and have a drink. The included breakfast buffet was […] surprisingly good and fresh and the room service food was decent. I found the hotel staff to be very helpful and they even remembered our names and our room number when they saw us or we had a question to ask. The location is perfect, right across from the Tiergarten and there is a large market along the street on Sunday mornings. My only complaint was that in our room we had no 3G (and sketchy cell internet) and our cell phones didn't always work, which was annoying, though this isn't really something they can control and could be just as much the fault of O2.
