Microtel Inn and Suites Plattsburgh in Plattsburgh

I stay here every time I visit Plattsburgh, its clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. This place is pet friendly and they treated my dog as well as they treated me. Does smell of smoke since some rooms are smoking but other than I have nothing negative to say. Absolutely recommend this hotel.

It was the worst! The room smelled of smoke and it was a non-smoking room. There were kids running in the hall at 1am until 3am screaming. There was a fight between a couple, a dog barking and the people on the floor above us sounded like a pack of elephants!

We had a queen suite on bottom floor. Very clean and comfortable. Will stay again.

except for the residual smell of smoke, the hotel worked well... however, we did reserve a room with two queen beds AND a pull=out sofa and got the beds but a window cushion instead of the sofa... made it more cramped than anticipated due the fact that we had counted on the 5th sleep space for our family stay.

I've stayed Holiday Inn near it before. This one is the best value for money and the room was very clean and comfortable. The surrounding area has everything. Very pleasant stay!

If you need a room in Plattsburgh, trust me STAY HERE! You will be delighted. When in Plattsburgh I ALWAYS STAY HERE! You can spend more, but you cannot beat this place. If you don't believe me check out the other reviews. Theye are like 95% very positive, and true!

Smoking and non smoking rooms next door to each other. Whole floor stunk like smoke including the eleavator. Nothing in your room but a hair blower, rooms very small. Would not recommend this hotel at all, will never stay there again.

The room was clean. The Hotel was clean. The breakfast was OK. The walls are paper-thin.

Hotel was easy access. Staff very friendly and conscientious to details. While we were in the lobby, someone walked in with muddy boots, the clerk without hesitation, grabbed a cloth and wiped it up quickly and went back to serving customers at the desk. Highly recommend it.

I travel a lot n stay at hotels a lot I never had such gr8 expirons everything was just awesome from the moment I airivved until the moment I left. This place is highly rocamanded

This establishment has gotten great reviews from many other people. The good reviews are absoutely true! If you are interested in this hotel, do yourself a favor: Waste no time BOOK IT! You will be glad you did.

We stayed here to make Christmas shopping excursion simple and it worked out perfectly. Great location right near everything and easy to get to. Well appointed rooms and appreciated the all day coffee and the ample free parking.

very clean room - loved the size - would stay again

Excellent over all experience. The only drawback would be the thin walls, you can hear your neighbours moving in their beds. Very good value.

This may have been the best economy hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were small but designed very efficiently to make the best use of space. The room was clean and well kept as was the lobby area. Breakfast was a basic continental breakfast which is too be expected for the price. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, not overly spacious but nice. HBO, Wireless, Continental Breakfast, Coffee at all hours. Some nice conveniences.

We stayed only one night, but I can say that was a very relaxing night. No worries about bugs or any thing else. Nice people work there.

This hotel is the worst i have seen in a long time.Starting with check in which i had to wait for the girl at the front desk to answer the phone every 2 seconds while she was trying to check me in.My check in time took at least 30 minutes when i fact it shouldnt have took more than 5 minutes.Then the next morning house keeping starting knocking on my […] door at 8:30am every 30 minutes when in fact checkout time wasent untill 11am.There is tons of noise all night long and i had a strong urine smell in my bathroom . This our 2nd time with Microtel and it was fine. Our previous stay was in York, Maine which included an indoor pool and a breakfast buffett and was even cheaper. Our stay in Plattsburgh was enjoyable- the staff was friendly, our room was clean and the location was close to the ferry we were taking to Vermont. Very nice, clean room. We took a room with two queen beds, and it was separated by a small kitchenette with sink, fridge and microwave. We had a small table which was good for eating snacks. The staff was very pleasant. The hotel is very close to Ausable Chasm, and around an hour from Lake Placid and the many attractions in that area.

We stayed at the Microtel Inn & Suites in July 2011 and we were extremely satisfied. We were very surprised to hear that the hotel was built in 2005 it looked so brand new!!! Great travel hotel - clean and comfortable, friendly staff, close to the thruway, and accepts dogs - what more could you ask for?

We enjoyed everything with our stay at the Microtel Inn & Suites, Plattsburgh, N.Y. except the smell of smoke in the hall as we stepped out of the elevator. Everything else was great.

This is third time we stay in this Hotel,,and the experience was always real Good, no worries there,,

If you're looking for an inexpensive, clean and convenient hotel in the Plattsburgh area, the Microtel Inn and Suites fits the bill. I stayed for two nights in a single queen bed room. The room was small, simply furnished and clean. On the first night, I had a quiet night's sleep. But on the second night, the guests from the wedding of a young couple […] were there and apparently thought they were in a college dormitory. The sound from the loud television in the next room blared from 11:30 pm to 3:00 am and inconsiderate guests yelling to each other at 2:30 am woke me up. But those are complaints about some of the guests. My only complaints about the hotel itself are its thinner walls and hard water, which made soap hard to wash off completely. The staff were friendly and professional. the hotel and rooms were spotless and well maintained.The location was within walking distance of stores and restaurants and ample parking.I will stay again when visiting from Montreal. good job!

This was alright for a shorts stay.

The hotel staff were VERY friendly. We were there for one evening and had alot of amenities around which was good. The walls are Very thin so something to be aware of if u r traveling with small children. My only fear was hearing something that u should Never hear in a room next to you.

One night stay. staff were very friendly at check in and helpful with questions. garbage in room was not emptied when arrived. rooms are very small but comfortable bed and pillows. Liked the window bench which must be there because of limited space. Nice large window.
