Campanile Paris 10 - Gare du Nord in Parijs

wij waren benieuwd naar de omgeving van het canal st Martin en omgeving in Parijs en het Campanile hotel ligt daarvoor op een uitstekende locatie. Keurig verzorgd, vriendelijke mensen, fijne parkeergarage voor auto (en onze fietsen!) kortom prima.

Tegen over het hotel is de metro. Alles is nettjes en verzorgd.

Although this hotel was in an ideal location (right next to a metro station), the room was very small and it was fairly expensive for what it was. Breakfast was not included and was very expensive (10 euros each). Housekeeping was very good and it was kept very clean. The reception staff were extremely rude and not helpful. Stayed here one night on 12th Nov 2011. Had booked the room due to price and reviews. It was within a few minutes walk of the Gard de Nord. When we arrived we were impressed with the cleanliness and condition of the hotel. The room was of a decent size and very clean. The facilities were better than anticipated with tea and coffee, hairdryer and a very […] nice ensuite shower room, with mini shampoo and soaps. The beds were clean and comfortable. The room also had a good tv. The location is great with the Louis Blanc metro opposite the hotel, this was great and the pink number 7 line runs to the Opera stop where you can catch the Roissybus to Charles De Guille for 10 euros. The green line runs in the opposite direction to the Park De Villette which is definately worth a look. We went to a concert at Le Zenith and it only took about 15 mins to get there from the hotel. Near the hotel is little bakery which does fantastic bagettes for less than 3 euros. There were a couple of cafes though didn't have time to sample. There is also a bank opposite for cash withdrawals. Overall had a fab stay and will definately go both back to Paris and would definately stay here again!! Lees meer

Hotel was small but very nice. Louis Blanc metro is a stones throw away. Very convenient when using subway to travel around Paris. Night front desk clerk Farid was very helpful at all times. Speaks English.

The hotel is conveniently located to all transport links with the RER traveling directly to Gare du Nord & the Metro station is just across the street. The room is what you would expect of a 2 star chain hotel but the reception staff always seem miserable and the bar area always looks closed. Great Hotel 10 minute walk from Gare Du Nord station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms small but very clean. Had a very enjoyable stay and would have no hesitation in staying again and recommending it.

This hotel was just what we wanted. It is near the train station and the metro. Small room but plenty adequate for our sleep one night only needs. The breakfast was light but typical European.

Before going to Paris we were terrified with all the reviews of other hotels reporting bed bugs. This one was recommended as a clean one and it lived to the expectation. We arrived on Thursday night and were greeted by very friendly receptionist. The room was small, but comfortable. And above all - very clean. We inspected the bed and it looked clean […] and good as new. Our room (301) led to the back yard (overlooking the outside space of the hotel's restaurant) and therefore were quieter than those reported by others. The air-conditioning was in perfectly working order, so no problems with hot nights and open window to loud Paris. The hotel is a short walk from Gare du Nord, so when you arrive by Eurostar, this location is perfect. Right outside the entrance door there is a Metro station (line 7), which will take you to the centre (or any other transport). The only surprise were the breakfasts. We didn't have them included, but for 2 days we thought it's a convent thing to have. Friday was fine (for Paris - don't expect full continental), but Saturday overstretched their resources. Great little hotel about 10 mins from Gare du Nord. Very much the French version of Travelodge, basic but all you need for a couple of days of sightseeing around Paris. The hotel is actually opposite Louis Blanc metro station, which although only has one useful line, is only a few stops away from bigger stations with lots of connections. I have stayed […] here before and my only complaint was that the air con did not come on below 25 degrees making the room a bit stuffy at night, however the window could be opened if you don't mind a bit of traffic noise! If you are only spending a few nights in Paris and don't want to spend a fortune you would be hard pushed to find a better place. Lees meer

This hotel was located close to the main train station in Paris and was strictly sought for its location and price. I stayed only one night because I arrived at the train station close by and was traveliing the next day back to the States. The staff was nice and friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, this hotel was a little seedy. The rooms were […] average but mine seemed to have an awful smoke smell which even with the windows open, I could not get the smell out. It seemed like every previous guest smoked in the room even though the staff tells you there is no smiking in the room. The price was pretty cheap for Paris but as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. I would only recommend this hotel to someone who is a smoker or who does not care about staying in a subpar hotel. Again, the staff was great, helpful with directions and obtaining a cab early in the morning (getting a cab in Paris is next to impossible....many drivers are rude and do not seem to want to take a fare unless they feel like it). I have stayed at the Campanile Port d'Italie which was not a great location but enjoyed the food, full service restaurant and staff that spoke English. Unfortunately, this one had no dinner, the breakfast buffet was OK (actually good for the price of 9 Euros) and staff's English was not great. There is a grocery nearby and some restaurants. The best […] one was Chez Papa's next door. the internet was complimentary but intermittent. The room was tiny, had a great balcony, a great bathtub, but I couldn't figure out how to plug it so I could take a bath. There were clever storage areas, and everything was adequate. Nothing wrong-enough to advise against this facility. Nothing right-enough to recommend it.

front-desk person was always outside, smoking...phones need to be constantly unblocked in order to usee 800 numbers...

nous allions aux bouffes du nord .....Idéalement bien situé.métro à proximité Accueil très agréable,personnels courtois; Petit déjeuner super. Surtout bon rapport qualité prix; Les hotels Campanile sont très bien en rapport qualité prix.

L’hôtel est bruyant, des efforts sur l'isolation phonique et très souhaitable. La chambre est propre à l'exception du sèche-cheveux qui a de la poussière sur l'arrivée d'air.

Günstig in der Nähe des Gare de l'Est gelegen. U-Bahn vor der Haustür. Für ein oder zwei Nächte optimal.

Rien à redire sur l'hotel très bien tenu. Station de métro à deux pas. L'environnement laisse à désirer ainsi que le bruit de la rue.

Ikke mindre end perfekt. Som andre skriver så er værelserne ikke helt så store men det er nok det eneste at sætte en finger på. Vi havde fransk altan som blev brugt meget. Det ligger virkelig genialt, et par metro hop fra alt. og der er GÅ gang til galleri de lafayette. Området var meget sikkert. Hotel personalet MEGET venlige. ***** !

Zimmer sind klein, aber zweckmäßig. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in Paris sind von hier aus gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Eine U-Bahnstation ist aber auch nur 20 m entfernt. Das Frühstück kostet extra (9 € p.P.). Es ist in Büffetform mit Baguette, kleinen Crepes, Croissants, Müsli mit frischem Obst u. Joghurt, Wurst+Käse,Heißgetränke (Kaffe, Tee, Heiße Schokolade) […] aus dem Automat. Leider keine Eier. Alles in allem trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert. Lees meer

Sehr nahe am Gare de l'est, Metrostation genau gegenüber, Supermarkt 200m entfernt, klimatisierte Zimmer (im Sommer sehr wichtig!!!), für Pariser Verhältnisse stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, also alles super!

Hotellet ligger ret centralt i nærheden af Gare du Nord og Gare l'est og der er god forbindelse med Mestroen rundt omkring til resten af Paris. Metrostationen 'Louis Blanc' ligger på modsatte side af vejen, så transporten er meget bekvem. Værelset var mindre end forventet, men til gengæld fik vi en altan med bord og stole, hvilket opvejede den manglende […] plads i værelset. Lees meer

Hervorragende Lage: Metro-Station direkt gegenüber auf der anderen Straßenseite. Hotel und Zimmer sehr sauber. Zimmer recht klein (wie in dieser Preiskategorie zu erwarten), aber noch akzeptabel. Am Frühstücksbuffet (war nicht im Übernachtungspreis enthalten) kann man sehr gut und ausgiebig frühstücken.

Hotel agréable, propre et spacieux avec des chambres claires et agréables. Salle de bain propre et suffissament grande. Clim éfficace. Manque une meilleure isolation phonique sur rue.
