Goede bedden, schoon, kleine kamer maar dat was als verwacht. Prima om 's avonds te slapen en overdag naar Disneyland of Parijs te gaan. Terrein is 's avonds vanaf 23:00 uur afgesloten (code van de poort ontvang je bij aankomst). Inchecken is bij nabijgelegen Kyriad-hotel, en kan tot 23:00 uur.

Heerlijk gastvrij hotel in 6e ar. Leuke buurt, kunst antiek en gezellige terrasjes. Medewerkers zeer servicegericht. Prettig publiek. Stijlvol en romantisch ingericht.
Ligging.
Le 55 Montparnasse Hôtel ligt in Tour Montparnasse in Parijs, dicht bij Bobino, Luxembourg Gardens en Paris Expo-Porte de Versailles. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Sorbonne University en Tour Montparnasse.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel voor zaken biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals een bar/lounge. Een draadloze internetverbinding is gratis beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, hulp bij excursies/tickets en bedrijfsgerelateerde dienstverleningen regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere meertalig personeel, koffie in de lobby en gratis kranten in de foyer. Parkeerruimte is tegen betaling beschikbaar, maar beperkt. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie. De algehele renovatie van deze accommodatie is in juli 2007 voltooid.

Elke kamer biedt uitzicht op de stad. Le 55 Montparnasse Hôtel heeft 40 kamers met een gratis krant en een haardroger. Elke 27-inch lcd-televisie wordt geleverd met kanalen via satelliet. Elke accommodatie beschikt over een bureau en een telefoon. Een draadloze snelle internetverbinding is gratis beschikbaar. Alle bedden hebben een Select Comfort-matras met donsdekens en luxe beddengoed. Elke badkamer is uitgerust met een bad/douchecombinatie met een extra diep bad, een handdouche en gratis toiletartikelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een plafondventilator en openslaande ramen. Daarnaast zijn op verzoek voorzieningen beschikbaar zoals een strijkplank/strijkijzer, hypo-allergeen beddengoed en een telefonische wekdienst. Een huishoudservice is dagelijks beschikbaar. In le 55 Montparnasse Hôtel mag niet op de kamers worden gerookt.

Prima hotel voor kort verblijf van 2 nachten. Van te voren email gestuurd met het verzoek voor mogelijkheid inchecken rond 12.00 uur ipv 14.00 uur. Na 1 dag reactie terug gekregen met de bevestiging dat dit mogelijk was. Ik was al blij dat ik uberhaupt een reactie terug kreeg en helemaal dat het mogelijk was! Superior room, schone kamer, goed bed wel […] kleine kamer maar dat is Parijs. Geen ontbijt genomen in het hotel genoeg bakkerijen in de buurt, zo ook naast/onder het hotel. Probeer wel een kamer te verkrijgen op de 2e verdieping of hoger ivm warmte door de oven van de bakkerij. Wij hadden een kamer op de 1e verdieping precies boven de oven! Had zelf hier weinig last van maar m'n vrouw kon door de warmte moeilijk slapen. Wij verbleven hier eind januari met het raam open koelde het wel snel af. In de zomer wordt dat wel moeilijk want er was geen airco aanwezig. Als je 's ochtends wakker wordt krijg je wel meteen trek door de zoete geur van de broodjes. Ideaal dat men ook een eigen parkeergarage heeft. Niet bij het hotel maar wel vlakbij. Ruime parkeergarage en veilig. Je kan de auto hier prima laten staan. Aan de overkant van het hotel heb je ook een metrostation. In Parijs reizen wij altijd met de metro. Prima geregeld en snel. De buurt is rustig, saai maar wel gemoedelijk. Alles is wel voorhanden, bakkerij, supermarkten, eettentjes. Wij hebben zelf in de aziatische wijk (13e) gedineerd. Altijd gezellig, lekker en goedkoop! Conclusie: Prima hotel qua locatie, het is schoon, goede bedden, veilige buurt, parkeergarage. Waar je wel op moet letten: Geen kluisje en airco aanwezig op de kamer. Warme kamer op de 1e verdieping ivm oven bakkerij. Weet niet hoe dat is op de 2e verdieping of hoger. Lees meer

Wij hebben een prima verblijf gehad in dit hotel. Om de hoek van de metro en alle bezienswaardigheden zijn vanaf het hotel met de metro goed te bereiken. Het hotel is netjes, de kamer was schoon evenals de badkamer. Prima dus!

Schoon hotel, prima kamer, aan de kleine kant maar dat is toch niet erg in een stad waar je weinig van je hotel ziet en veel van de stad. Fijne stortdouche, parkeergarage vlakbij (zou wel reserveren). Leuke wijk er omheen, kleine winkeltjes, supermarkt vlakbij. Aanrader dus!

Ontbijt kun je het beste om de hoek nemen. Voldoende mogelijkheden. Metro vlakbij. Kamers schoon. Prima hotel al zijn sommige kamers erg klein. Wel schoon. Zal het de volgende keer weer proberen te boeken.
"Nice hotel. Excellent value for money!"
The hotel was easy to find by car. We reserved a spot in their parking garage which was absolutely necessary. The surrounding streets are narrow and we didn't see any open spots during our 3-day stay. The garage isn't adjacent to the hotel but was only a few hundred meters away. We checked-in after midnight but that was no problem. The rooms are pretty […] small but were all we needed for a weekend away. The rooms and bathrooms were pretty modern and clean. The TVs had just been replaced with HD TVs. The service was fine. The reception was friendly, helpful and spoke sufficient English. We liked the location, especially the fact that the Metro station (Pernety) was right outside the door. The main street is lined with shops, good bakeries and a number of cafes and bistros. It's a relatively quiet area, except for the trash collection truck that came every morning. In the end, an excellent value for money in a nice residential area, away from the hoards of tourists. Prima hotel in leuke straat. Buurt voelde beetje als De Pijp in Amsterdam: van alles wat qua bevolking. Voelde erg prettig. Hotelkamer was klein, maar prima als je toch veel op pad bent. Goede regeling dat je vooraf parkeerplaats kunt reserveren bij hotel. Auto staat veilig in prive-parking en daarna pak je de metro naar de stad. Op nog geen honderd […] meter van het hotel! Dicht bij metro Pernety Parkeren moeizaam maar wel goed geregeld in externe parkeergarage op 3 minuten afstand. Men moet weten dat deze parkeeroplossing zeer noodzakelijk is; er is geen alternatief in deze overvolle buurt

The hotel is right next to a metro station, in a very nice arrondissement (a few bars / cafes, not too many tourists). The room was tiny but very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was unfriendly.

leuk hotel, goed ontbijt terrasjes en metro om de hoek. lekker geslapen.al met al een aanrader. een tomtom is wel heel handig om er te komen. veel eenrichtingwegen.
"Gezellige Franse wijk en sfeer"
Het hotel ligt midden in een gezellige wijk aan een smalle straat met aan weerskanten een hele rits met eetgelegenheden. Van kebab tot en met een geweldig japans restaurantje 200 m verder, waar je voor heel weinig heerlijke sushi kunt krijgen. De metro ligt praktisch voor de deur en met een paar stops ben je bij de Eiffeltoren of het Louvre. Lopen kan […] ook, maar is een flinke wandeling hoewel je dit na de bekoorlijke wandeling door de wijken Montparnasse en Quartier Latin eigenlijk niet eens in de gaten hebt en je voordat je het weet aan de Seine en voor de Notre Dam staat. Het personeel van het hotel hebben wij als zeer vriendelijk ervaren en spreekt goed Engels. De kamers zelf vielen ons wel wat tegen. Heel erg klein (zelfs voor Parijse begrippen) en de badkamer was al even krap bemeten. Wel was alles erg schoon en netjes en stond er een prima bed, wat uiteindelijk het belangrijkste is. Het hotel biedt gelegenheid om te ontbijten, maar hier hebben wij geen gebruik van gemaakt. Om de echte sfeer van Parijs of de wijk te proeven doe je dat natuurlijk bij een leuke bistro en laat er nou net eentje precies schuin tegenover het hotel zitten. We hebben er heerlijk gegeten. Een uitdaging is het als je van plan bent om met de auto te komen. Parkeren is in heel Parijs al niet zo gemakkelijk, maar in de omgeving van het hotel welhaast onmogelijk. Er is in de buurt een afgesloten parkeergarage waar het hotel een aantal plaatsen heeft. Voor een heel vriendelijk tarief (wij betaalden €12 p.d.) kun je daar je auto kwijt. Wel is het handig om deze plek te reserveren, want de plaatsen zijn beperkt. Wij hadden dit niet gedaan, maar hadden geluk dat er net een plaatsje vrijkwam toen we wilden inchecken. Kortom een zeer prettig en schoon hotel op een heerlijke locatie met een prima service. Wij komen hier zeker snel weer een keertje terug. Lees meer

Nice little hotel, almost next to the subway station. A subway ride to the centre does take longer and more walking underground than expected but that didn't bother us much. It is really an experience to be living in Montparnasse. Here it is very old fashioned Paris. You have cheese store, bread store and fruit stores nearby. The subway is 10 meters away from the Hotel. Wonderful outdoor café and Bistro, Korean Restaurant, Chinese, Japanese restaurant. All in very reasonable price comparing to Latin Kvarter! The hotel personal […] is friendly! Of course it depends on you too. Goodness creates goodness I believe. We got help from the nice guy in the reception at night. We have not asked his name! Guidance to Mount Saint Michel. We were very satisfied with the room. It was very small, but clean, and had everything we needed. The hotel is across the street from the Pernety Metro station; a boulangerie/patisserie was right on the corner, and there were several decent to excellent restaurants and bistros within a few blocks. The location is very convenient for the price. Also there is an excellent bakery just next to the hotel -- strongly recommend to get breakfast and desserts there. The room is clean, though a bit small compared to other hotels in the west Europe I stayed. But if you are like me who used this hotel for the purpose of sleep only, the room size is fine. […] The staff were friendly. Unfortunately the wireless internet at the hotel was down for most of the time during my two-night stay there. I asked the front desk and got the answer that they didn't know when the internet would be normal and suggested me to go to some internet cafe. "Clean, simple, safe; close to metro and cute area"
The hotel itself was simple but clean, stayed in a standard room for 7 nights. It wasn't too noisy and the walls not as thin as the reviews advised. Free wifi was a plus although stopped working for 1-2 nights. No big deal. Right around the corner from the Pernety metro station. Downstairs from the hotel is so convenient: bakeries, fruit stores, a supermarket […] nearby, various restaurants, butcher and laundromat. "Montparnasse is further away than you'ld think"
The hotel is located just outside a metro stop, but unfortunately on an pretty uninteresting line. Of course the Paris metro is fantastic in it's service, so this is actually not a big deal. Walking to le Tour Montparnasse was not as easy as I was hoping - the area is big - and whilst very cosy and nice during daytime, at night the neighbourhood felt […] just a tad scary. The hotel was clean enough, but not more. The amenities were below average and the internet was slow. There was construction works going on so we didn't get to sleep in in the morning... The building is low and if you get a low-floor room there is not much light coming in through the window (covered by a Velcro attached lace and an extra curtain for making the room dark). The room smelled of perfume. Not bad perfume, but a bit too much for us. The bathtub was small. We did not try the breakfast - there are several really nice breakfast eateries (albeit a bit expensive) just outside the hotel. Lees meer

"Small but perfectly formed rooms."
Ok, so I'm from the UK - and therefore am used to smaller hotel rooms than perhaps some of the American reviewers on here, however, just to get this out of the way, these really are small rooms (my cupboard wouldn't open because of the bed!) However, having said that, it was small, but perfectly formed - very clean, comfortable, lots of hot water, […] lovely bed, and feather duvet, immaculate room and lovely staff. Would definitely recommend it to friends (but only it if booked for the discounted rates available online.) It's in a great bit of Paris, with some wonderful patisseries and charcuteries nearby, as well as the local market on the weekend and it's very easy to travel to and from - with the Pernety station almost across the road and Montparnasse Station etc very close. Absolutely brilliant for the (discounted) price I got it for. It would be a five, but if I'd paid the full rate, I would have been disappointed, compared to other places I have stayed in Paris. "Pleasant hotel in pleasant area."
Nice hotel in a fairly groovy neighborhood but further away from the main attractions of Paris (especially for a first-timer). We ate breakfast out and didn't eat any meals in the surrounding area either but all the basic services exist on the street. Great cheese, wine and other shops nearby and excellent bakery on the corner. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who'd like to be close to the sites, travel connections and who is happy to be in the centre of things. The only downside is that the rooms are Noisy, not just for the fact that you are affected by the night life noise outside but also the snoring sounds from the next room and any activities in the corridor. So […] make sure you take some ear muffs or if you are a heavy sleeper, then there is nothing to stop you from considering this hotel as an excellent choice to stay. After a lot of searching we settled on this hotel as a result of the excellent reviews it had, and we weren't disappointed. This hotel had a lot more character than a chain 4 star hotel and the location was fantastic-right opposite the Pernety metro station, surrounded byatt small restaurants, cafes and patisseries, that were very reasonably priced. […] The room was modern, simple and elegant and exactly what we were looking for, at an exceptionally reasonable price. "Very nice hotel, convenient location"
Recently spent a week in Paris staying at Le 55 Montparnasse. The biggest selling point is the location which is about 100 feet from the Pernety metro station. This was hugely convenient, we were able to get to most sites within 20 minutes using the superb metro system. Staff was very nice, English-speaking, and helpful with booking airport transport, […] etc. Rooms are quite small but standard for europe, very clean with a relatively large American-style bathroom. Flat screen tv with mainly french channels but three or four english channels (MSNBC, BBC, etc.). Free wifi included. There are also a number of good bakeries and restaurants in very close walking distance as well as a supermarket. If you're in the area, check out the local restaurant Les Frangines, a pretty affordable bistro with good food. The neighborhood felt safe and was lively during the day but quiet at night. Note that there is a 1 euro per person per day fee, some sort of european tax. Also breakfast at the hotel is 9 euro, but you can just walk ten feet down the block to the bakery instead. Lees meer

"le 55 Montparnasse - noisy"
Whilst clean, comfortable (except for one major thing) and very handy to a Metro station, cafes, bars and restaurants, our main 'comfort' gripe was the loud street noise at night that penetrated our room. Our non-airconditioned first-floor room was on the (cobbled) side lane and we were disturbed by every wheelie-bin, garbage truck, midnight party, […] and motor-scooter (double-glazed windows would definitely help here). There were no safes in the rooms or front desk. Breakfast was pretty average and the staff least friendly of our whole trip (though the concierges spoke reasonable English). Lees meer

The hotel's location was wonderful, decent room, not huge but clean and comfy, and free wifi! We never tried the breakfast because so many bakeries in the area. I would stay here again.

"Good Location not good manager !"
I went there this past week, the location is SUPER GOOD, a few steps of the metro. If you feel like eating or having a drink at night you can have it just a few steps also of the hotel. The room is small but clean. They dont have air conditioner but the weather usually at night in Paris is fine if you have your window open. The only thing is ALL THE […] noise in the night... one thing that I really hate was the service, I just had one question and the men there was super rude! did help and now one did... I really did not like that. But if you feel like you dont need recomendations or help ones you are in Paris,... feel free to stay. Lees meer
Very small room but is good for budget. Close to a train station so is easy to access to other place but their not lift in the train station so not suggest to carry a heavy luggage.
Hotel staff could be more friendly and helpful as far as organizing tours etc.!!!!!
"Better than we could have hoped"
We were only in Paris for one night and had originally thought about a hostel. But I'm so glad I stumbled upon this hotel online. It had gotten great reviews before, so I booked and held my breath. But when we arrived it was better than we could have hoped! We were early, but the gentleman behind the counter was able to put us directly into a room, […] which was actually a free upgrade. We were on the top floor in an incredibly comfortable and clean room with a huge bathroom and large windows. The next day when we checked out they were nice enough to hold our baggage until we came to pick it up before our train. And its only 2 stops or a short walk from a large metro station with access to several main trains. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a lovely, clean, comfortable space to rest while in Paris. Our only wish is that we could have been able to enjoy it for more than one night! Lees meer

"Excellent Service"
The reception area was small however inviting and we were greeted by the most pleasant of staff. The staff were good natured, happy to have a chat and provide any information that were able to give to make our stay in Paris as enjoyable as possible. Room - The room was small however adequate to our needs. Location - the location was a little while […] out of the centre of Paris however was only 30 metres from Pernety stations which made it ideal to use the Metro. Great little hotel, 25 metres from Pernety station and free wifi!! Lovely bread shop below and try the food at Turk...very cheap and surprisingly tasty! Can't fault the place:)

The staff was absolutely great. Held baggage while we went to Madrid. Move our room when the next door was Snoring too loud. Scheduled an airport pick up Service.and people A+++. Hotel= Great location clean and literally across the street from the Pernety Metro 13. If you're looking for the Paris experience on look and feel this will let you down.
