Comfort Suites Concord in Concord

The hotel was quaint. Very clean and inviting. Would recommend to friends and family.

We didn't have high hopes for this location, as it was a lower tier hotel and wasn't booked solid when everyone else around it was sold out. However, we got a suite that had two double beds and a fold out double in the main room and were quite pleased. Plenty of room for the two adults and two teens. Two smaller (possibly 27 inch) tube televisions […] meant there were no complaints about the selections from my traveling companions. There is a kitchenette with dishwasher, microwave, fridge and sink, but no kitchen items to put in the dishwasher. Plenty of outlets for those who need to charge electronic devices. There is an indoor pool and a weight room. The hotel offers a complementary breakfast if you get there before 9:30. We didn't, but there's a Cracker Barrel on the other side of Bruton Smith highway, so no worries. If you're staying here to visit Charlotte Motor Speedway, leave the hotel, hang a left on Bruton Smith Hwy and it's barely 2 miles away. We also found the Hendrick, Roush and Petty shops were nearby. Food choices are plentiful, as are places to get your drink on within walking distance. We were pleased enough that we will definitely try to book this hotel when we return to Concord. Lees meer

Hotel staff was very nice. Rooms were roomy and clean. Only bad things were the TV's were dated and the pool was closed and that really did stink. This was a New Year Eve stay and we were really excited about the pool only to find that it was closed . The Comfort Suites was a very clean, nice, family oriented hotel and conveniently located near many fine restaurants and shops. It is situated right across the street from Concord Mills and a Walmart is also close by. The complimentary breakfast was nice and offered many choices, many more than most other hotels. The room was very nice and the King […] bed was huge! The only major problem we had was that the pool was closed because of "a door issue", which we assumed meant that the hotel just didn't want to maintain it. That was definitely a downfall of this hotel. Overall, the hotel was nice but I would only recommend it to families and not younger couples, especially smokers. Lees meer

My family and I were very impressed with the quality of the hotel. It was clean, comfortable and the workers were very pleasant and helpful. The suite was very spacious and cozy. The hotel is located in an ideal, safe place with lots of shopping areas and restaurants nearby.

I was really impressed at the size of the room. There was a separate room for the beds, which had it's own TV. The other room had a TV, a fairly comfortable couch, a desk with a nice office chair, and very nice little "kitchenette" area. I was a little concerned the refrigerator wouldn't be cold enough for our drinks and food, but noticed it was only […] set at mid-coldness. After turning it up, it did fine. The microwave was also very nice and clean. The room even had a dishwasher and some dishes!! The rooms A/C system was a bit odd. The room was very stuffy and warm at first, the A/C units (one in each section/room) not running, but saying it was set at "Auto" and for 70 degrees. I bumped it down to 67 and it kicked on immediately. After the rooms cooled, I bumped them back up to 70 (and the next day when it was cooler out, 72), and they behaved normally, keeping the rooms at a pleasant temperature. The breakfast is so-so. The eggs had a very strange texture to them, like they poured a bunch of egg batter into a casserole pan and cooked them in the oven. The biscuits were okay, the sausage gravy a little thin, but tasty. Avoid the "orange juice", I think it's a mix, and tasted overly sweet and not much like O.J. at all. I really enjoyed my stay @ the hotel. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was great! I have nothing to complain about w/ this hotel. The price was great also! I will stay again when I come back to Concord!!

It was .7 miles from where I needed to be and was very easy to get to where I was going. Very convenient, very clean, and I had a good experience staying here.

for the price it was extremely average. I didn't hate it, it was a nice room, but there must've been mold, because I had a sore throat the entire time when in the room, as I am allergic to mold. I noticed a line on the edge of the wall near the top of the wall about 2 inches from the ceiling in the bedroom area. We had a suite with a pull out couch […] and two doubles. It very well could've been mold in the air conditioner, but I definitely had an allergic reaction to something moldy. We had a good time anyway, even with the issues with the hotel's entrances not working with the key cards. (they were in the middle of a door repair/remodel. Lees meer

We stayed here for an entire week. It was mostly a good experience, but there were issues. Management did take steps to correct them, though, when I mentioned them. On one day, our room was only partially cleaned. I mentioned this to mgt, and we didn't have any problems with the room not being clean after that. The complimentary breakfast was hit […] or miss. There is one cook there that makes a mean bowl of grits. However, the other cook, who alternates days with the first cook, makes some of the wateriest, most tasteless grits I've had. Lees meer

Very comfortable room - large with refrigerator and microwave. We spent 4 comfy nights.

Except for the fact they dont vacuum under the couch, it was a nice place, well-stocked, and the desk personnel were wonderful, informative, knowledgeable in their job, and expedient.

We enjoyed our weekend away in Concord. The Comfort Suites was a great place to stay - convenient, spacious, free breakfast, and more!

We had a great stay even though we checked in late the staff was friendly and the room was very comfortable with plenty of pillows :0). The free breakfast was fabulous!!! Eggs, grits, sausage juices, bagels, waffles and cereals. We were very happy when we left.

We were very pleased with the hotel, that we decided to stay an extra night! The rooms were plenty big enough for my husband and I, along with our 3 young children. The breakfast was by far one of the best ones we've expirenced at a hotel. And the staff was polite and helpful in many ways! The location is also a major plus!! You can walk to dinner or […] lunch which helps out when you don't care to drive! Overall we loved this hotel and its staff! We will be staying here again in our future visits!! Lees meer

Many, Many thanks to the wonderful "breakfast man" who provided EXCELLENT grits. Just what this southern girl craves on cold mornings. Soooooooo good.

Hospitality was wonderful, cleanliness of room was good, beds were comfortable. The BATHROOM was good except for the bath tub. It looked like it had soap scum or hard water stains. When I mentioned it to the front desk they said it's clean it is just an old tub/shower. I said well maybe the hotel should invest in the tub/shower covers. Luckily I was […] visting family so I had to bathe my son at there house and went out and brought myself a pair of filp flops in order to stand and take a shower.
