Costa De Oro Beach Hotel in Mazatlan

Lovely people, wonderful view and, excellent location for what we needed! it was my boyfriend's first time in Mexico and he was very impressed; especially with the gracious people of Mazatlan.

We stayed overnight on our way to the USA border. Hotel was easy to find, good location right over the beach, plenty of parking and free wifi. They do not allow pets! We had our cat with us but they would not allow us to keep her in our room--it was ok for her to stay in the car even thought it was really hot and muggy. my only complaint would be that there was no hot water to showeor. I was there for 6 nights. 3 of those nights i had to shower with cold water.

The hotel is in an excellent location and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are very outdated and have little to no insulation. The staff out at the bar by the pool is very friendly, energetic, professional, and accomodating. By the second day they knew us, our travelling friends, and our room numbers. They made our stay there very comfortable.

This hotel is on the Beach. It should be in a skidrow bowery. The hotel is filthy. The beds are about right for very, very short people, less than 4'. Maintenance on the property is non exsitance.

We were booked into a room that had a horrible sewer gas smell. We thought maybe open windows would help, but by 10 pm we were feeling nauseous. Hotel was well priced and in a good loction. Pool area and restaurant were great! The hotel is right on the beach- beach is beautiful and well kept. Rooms were good enough considering price.

they upgraded me to an ocean view suite as my regular room was not ready when I arrived. A bit musty smelling but opening the wide door to the ocean front took care of that. Everything I needed was right there within walking distance and buses (cheap), or pulmonias are close at hand for seeing anything else. A great patio breakfast area but due to the […] weather (hot and humid) there were too many flys. It's the same all over this time of the year and sometimes you have to eat inside until the sun goes down. I would stay there again. It's a quick way to loose 10 lbs by walking along the beach early in the morning and then body surfing in the late afternoon. Just don't go overboard with the great drinks and food at Gus Gus across the street. By the way, the optional Expedia transportation service from the airport to the hotel was excellent with someone to greet me at the airport and on time service from the hotel back. This hotel was in a great location. The pool is created like the ocean extends from it. Lucy the pool waitress was the nicest lady and like a mom away from home. I called two days in advance to check if i could use my lap top so i could take it with me ,i was told that it is not possible and when i get there i found out that you could use your lap top in your room that was dissapointment for me.the bath room was very small and i had to call few times for shampoo.

The service at the reception was really bad!!, they didn´t find my reservation so they were rude, when i told them the info of the reserve, they ask me to go to an internet cafe outside the hotel to print the confirmation, i asked them for their support doing it at the business center but they refuse to help me. Solo estuve en el hotel una noche, le falta bastante mantenimiento. Las habitaciones están limpias, los muebles son viejos y muy austeros. Yo solo llegue a dormir, es un hotel en el cual si fuera de vacaciones por mas días no me quedaría, deben de renovarlo urgente!

el hotel en general esta bien pero nos asifnaron un cuarto que esta en una parte vieja del hotel y la habitacion se veia muy antigua, los banos estan manchados y las cosas que estaban en la habitacio se veain viejas! ademas en la playa no habia sombrillas, habia personas que las rentaban a un precio muy alto!

El hotel Costa de Oro tiene una excelente ubicación; sin embargo sus habitaciones requieren ser remodeladas, cambiar aparatos de TV, ropa de cama, además el personal requiere inmediatamente de capacitación en cuánto tratar al huésped con amabilidad y cortesía.
