We had a 3 bedroom condo and was good for our needs. It was a little dated, but comfortable. It was furnished so that I wasn't worried about the grandkids breaking or spilling on anything. I was a little disappointed at the lack of things in the condo. There was no soap for the dishwasher, dish soap, paper towels and only 1 dish rag 1 pot and 1 sauce […] pan. It was hard to do much in the kitchen. The amenities were great. There was a tropical storm when we were there and the kids were still able to be at the lazy river and inside pool area. This hotel is awesome, and easily within walking distance to the boardwalk. Great for kids, lots of things for them to do. A must if you have kids! People were friendly, and helpful also.

I stayed in the Chelsea house but wasn't aware before hand that its across the street from the hotel, which was a.little confusing and frustrating. We unloaded the car and carried all of our Belongings with us to check in to save time. After hearing we had to pack up the car again everyone was irritated. Excellent location for the entire family!! The traffic was minimal due to the location on the strip and the water park was a bonus for my kids! The rooms are a little dated but we had a 2 bedroom apartment that was huge and the friendly staff and other amenities easily make up for the older room decor. The two double bed suite was a bit costly but worth it. My 3, 8, & 11 y/o had tons of fun on the waterslide as well as the other indoor &outdoor pools. My wife and I enjoyed the oceanview and the poolside bar. The staff was great and I will plan to stay again! The murphy and sofa beds provided more than enough room.

At first it looks nice I like that it had plenty of pools and things for the kids but when I went to check in the attendant was very rude and she didn't even gave a smile then she mixed up the rooms and had me go up twice with a baby in my arms and all my luggage not cool but over all it was so so.

The condos are really spacious. The kids were able to enjoyed themselves. It was a great place to get away and relax.

We loved our stay here. Family vacation mini getaway. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Stayed on the 1st level Dominican Tower. View of ocean and outdoor pool area. Quiet hotel. Food delivery places very close by. I loved it here and will be coming back. Only downfall was the morning we were packing to leave, housekeeping was keying in my room […] at 930. Said she knocked but 6 people in the room didnt hear her. I think if we have a checkout time of 11am, then they should wait until then or atleast check the records to see if we have checked out yet. When booking my trip I ask for wheelchair accessible room and the front desk clerk changed the room to be accessible. Overall stay was great and the room was great for wheelchair access.

I always love staying at this hotel, but the $15 resort fee was hidden and charged at check-in. I hate hidden fees and wish everyone would do straight up business practices.

The stay was average but the major down side was the AC did not work in our room and we did not realize this until about 11:30pm. Maintenance had already left so we had to change rooms. I am a single mother of three children and this was a VERY uncomfortable thing to have to do, along with being frustrated.

The room was great. I got an oceanview 2 bedroom. The view was spectacular, we could see the ocean and the strip. The bedrooms were roomy. The location was excellent. close to shops and the strip as well as restaurants.

My stay here was great!!!!!! I stayed here twice and the first time I was blown away but now it will have to be the only place for me when I head to the beach. I got my room for a great price and it was worth more then what I paid. I recommend the Caribbean to anyone!!!!!!!!!

great place to hang out on the balcony , we could see the ocean,we were across street from ocean in the chelsea apts.. much better than being in the main hotel, no elevators and screaming kids to put up with except our ownzleeps two couples and tow kids comfortably......can walk to broadway at the beach takes about 15 mins at a casual pace

Loved it! Rooms very spacious. We had reserved a condo, but since they had a problem with our condo we were given an upgrade of 2 suites with an ocean view without asking for it. Location was close to everything.

The "Jamaican" tower was like a budget motel. Doors with no double locks (unsafe) to outside rather than a hall, no hook in bathroom area to hang anything, one plastic glass for 2 people to drink from, 2nd day NOT a single glass, coffee pot but no cups to pour it in, no cream/sugar, etc., balcony furniture too filthy to sit on; very plain room. Was […] clean though. Saw absolutely NONE of the beauty that was shown on the brochure. It was like this tower was a throw-in out of necessity for space. Would never go there again. Lees meer

It was snowing totally unexpected, thought my weekend would be a waste. Once I got to my room it was all forgotten. The view I had to the beach was nice, kitchen and living space very convenient. Would definitely love to go back.

When we arrived at the resort, it was later in the evening, and we had to wait 45 minutes to be checked in. At that time, the staff was RUDE, unfriendly, and very unprofessional. I booked a two bedroom in the Chelsea house, asked for a little guidance to where the room was, or building, the employee couldn't help us! The room was clean, but the dishes […] in the kitchen had food on them from previous guests, and we did not have any dish soap. We called down to the front desk, waited an hour, called again, waited another hour, still no soap was brought to us to wash dishes from a previous guest, so we could eat! I had to walk over and get it, at that time, the clerk laughed as i informed her of the issue. I was pleased with the staff that came to our room to bring clean towels the next morning, she was extremely nice and sweet. We noticed the ceiling was falling down, rust on the fridge, and the shower curtains had tears in them. I will never ever book a room with this place again. Worst experience EVER. We stayed just 1 night at the chelsea house in a 2 bedroom. Unfortunately it was across the street and nowhere near the ocean. This villa was quite large, but tired and needed some updating. It had a very musty smell throughout and a sewage smell in the bathrooms. The second bedroom had 2 twin beds and the master had a double-queen and a twin bed. Also […] there was no hot water for showers. The pictures and brochures made this hotel look much nicer than it is. We have stayed in Myrtle beach for the past 20 years and have stayed at some impressive resorts, this is not one of them! Maybe the regular rooms are ok, but if you're looking for a resort with multiple bedrooms I wouldn't recommend it. Lees meer

The hotel had our reservation screwed up and were not very nice about trying to accomidate us. First they tried to stick us in a room in the basement and finally got us a room on 1st floor that was not at all what we were looking forward to. Would not ever stay there again.

We arrived at 3:00pm and registration had long lines, which was expected on Friday. The front desk worked people as fast as they could and line moved fairly quick. The rooms decor was outdated, but the room was clean and view was great. The indoor pool area was a nice suprise, our toddler loved their kiddie pool. Overall, I was a happy customer.

I enjoyed my stay at the Carribean Resort and so did my kids. The room was clean the beds were confortable. I have no real complaints other then the pipes were a little noisey. The lady in registrations Lori was very helpful in gettig us the best price on tickets to the Aquarium and discounts on the popular dining facilities and letting us know how […] to get the the places. The morning weather was nice so we got to enjoy the beach and even tho it snowed that night we still enjoyed the inside pool and hot tubs. We loved it!!! I was sad to leave. Lees meer

Friendly desk clerk. Great location. Main building is nice but our room in the secondary building was old, dirty and in need of repairs.

Front desk representatives were friendly and helpful. Room was cozy. Heat works VERY well. We stayed in the Jamaican building which had a nice view of the beach.

I chose this hotel for two reasons; 1 - we stayed here in the summer and thoroughly enjoyed the amenities; and 2 - being winter, I remembered that one of the water areas was under shelter. Needless to say, the kids (and parents) were thoroughly pleased to be able to enjoy the 2 hot tubs, lazy river, kids pool and regular pool in full comfortability […] of the indoor facility while the outside temps were freezing. We had the 3 bedroom oceanfront and it was awesome as well. Our king bed in the master was more comfortable than my own bed. The room was very clean. Literally, the only thing you need to bring with you is groceries and clothes. Parking is free, covered and right across the street. There's a Rite Aid, liquor store, beach supply store and seafood restaurant 2 blocks directly west of the resort. Grocery store (Piggly Wiggly) is about 5 blocks south on 17. There is nothing inconvenient about this location. We Will Return to The Caribbean! Lees meer

Overall it was disappointing after reading through so many good reviews. The oceanfront view was awesome and we loved it. But that was the only wow factor here. The room looked quite old and the carpets were not inviting. We had trouble with slow draining of the bath tub (almost took a night to drain) and also experienced trouble with the toilet bowl. […] Though we complained regarding the problem, I don't think it was taken care. Also the Kitchen had quite a few shortcomings in terms of vessels provided (no non-stick pan was provided). Though Coffee maker was provided, still no coffee powder was provided as complimentary (I have always had it present in whatever hotel we stayed before). The knives weren't sharp enough and left lot to desire. On the plus side the Hot tubs, lazy river and pool were pretty nice and we had fun using them. I would say if the kitchen was better equipped and room was renovated then we would have really loved it but this time we aren't that excited. I would recommend this hotel for the water amenities and clean ocean view but otherwise if you are one who like to cook during your vacation or like your room to be clean, this hotel isn't the best one.
