Quality Inn in Brattleboro

The room needs updating. The bed was comforable and complementary breakfast I thought was very good with a lot of variety.

We booked the Quality Inn for our stay when we went on our snowboarding trip to Stratton Mountain. It is located about 45 minutes away from the mountain. The Quality Inn shares a driveway with the Hampton Inn next door. It is in a quiet area with other hotels, as well as just a few minutes away from some restaurants, fast-food eateries, and gas stations. We […] checked in a little late, but Glenn at the front desk was super nice and helpful. He even offered to keep the pool open late for us. The hotel itself looks ok. The doors of the rooms are slightly worn, but are fully functional and do not take away from you feeling safe and secure. The inside of the rooms look pretty nice. You get a big flat-screen tv, microwave, and fridge! The free breakfast spread included bagels, eggs, sausages, potatoes, fresh waffles, muffins, cereal, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice, and more. It was better than expected! Since we checked in late and checked out early the next morning, we didn't get a chance to check out the pool and fitness center. Overall, the Quality Inn is a little better than an economy hotel. You get more bang for your buck. I would stay here again. Lees meer

The room was clean. The location was perferct. There was a frig in the room. However, the heat made a rattling noise that made it difficult to sleep soundly.

The rooms are clean. Flat screen TV, fridge, microwave and the beds are comfortable. My ride was delayed and the front desk was very cool about giving me a late checkout. We'll be back.

this quality inn was very quiet and convenient. stayed thanksgiving nite on our way upstate.

We were very pleased with the accommodations during our one night stay. We were heading to a horse show and needed to break up the long ride from NH to western MA. It worked out perfectly. They also had the breakfast available for our departure at 6:30 - very helpful. Close to the major highway so we didn't loose any time.

The hotel turns the heat off in the evening in the lobby restaurant and hallways making it extremely cold. Hotel is in serious need of update and due to their policy of allowing dogs in the hotel there was a strong odor in the hallways. I won't be staying there again.

The hotel was fairly average overall. No major complaints. The breakfast was definitely above average, however, with an assortment of hot selections. The gentleman tending to the breakfast was attentive and very pleasant.

Not sure what the standards are in Vermont but this hotel should most definately be only 2 stars.

The hotel is in desperate need of some updates...it is very dark, and there are a lot of bumps and bruises around all areas. The breakfast was decent, except you can't get juice unless the dishwasher is off. Overall a decent stay for the price, I wouldn't stay there long term for vacation purposes though.

I had a ground floor room which was very old and musty smelling. I was near the rear entrance which was not locked. when I returned to my room that evening there was empty beer cans and other garbage outside my room. It was still there when I left the next morning

Hotel was well maintained and conveniently located. I sprung for the higher price even though Motel Six was just down the road because I wanted to take advantage of the hot tub and pool after a long day of traveling. Unfortunately, until I arrived at 8 PM, those facilities were shut down for the day and since I had to leave early the next morning, I […] missed out on what I paid extra for. The people were so nasty and the place filthy. I didn't even unpack my bags. In addition--there is no elevator in the building and no one to help carry my bags. Though I got a change to a room on the lower floor--it was even worse than the first.

The bar is wonderful!

My reservation was for 2 nights. I arrived late the first night and the television did not work. The services listed on the website were not avaliable. I asked for another room the next morning and it was several hours before I had any contact about a new room. A man from the hotel came into my room and sat down asking questions without an invatation. […] The showers for the pool were cold and the pool was cold. I will never stay here again! Lees meer

It seemed that it must have been just taken over with new management. We had children with us and the indoor pool had so much chlorine in it,so much that you couldn't breath''.No swimming there. The outside pool needed cleaning. no swimming there even though staff said they were ok. No bathroom vent fans.Breakfast not keep full . Very Clean. The service was aweful due to either forgettfulness or not enough people working. The Workers were all very nice and polite. We did not have enough pillows, blakets or towels in the room. We had a reservation for 4 and only had enough for 2. We had to ask 4 times over 2 days for the items and they finally sent us down to housekeeping to […] get the items instead of bringing them to us. Fire Alarm went off at 2am and we were evacuated for an hour. We had small children with us. There was no explanation the following day. There was WAY TOO MUCH clorine in the indoor pool. We could not swim in it. That was the main reason I wanted to stay at this location. Lees meer

The hotel was very comfortable. The breakfast was super. I would recommend this hotel to others as it was very friendly and quick to please.

This hotel is decent and clean. Nothing fancy, but would definitely stay here again. About a 5 minute drive to downtown Brattleboro and a 2 minute drive to I-91. There are fridges and microwaves in the room.

I arrived at about 6:00 PM on Sunday with a reservation for four nights to a place with three cars in the lot. When I entered to register, I immediately noticed a strong and disagreeable odor, There was what looked like a broken fountain in the lobby that may have been the source of the odor. In spite of the smell, I checked in thinking it would be […] better away from the lobby. It was not. The room I was given was at the far end of the hall away from the lobby, and the odor was almost as strong there as it was by the desk. When I opened the door to my room, the first thing I saw was the toilet paper spindle and an almost empty roll on the floor in the entry way. When I turned the bathroom light on, the bathroom was a complete mess, including a filthy floor. Further in the room, the bed was completely stripped and the dirty linen was thrown all over the place. The whole area smelled of dirty linen - at least the smell in the hall was mostly gone in the room. Not what I would have expected of a reserved room 3 hours after check-in time. I returned to the desk and told the clerk on duty that the room was completely unacceptable and he offered me another one. He showed me a neat room with a prepared bed and I made the swap. I should have looked in the bathroom. The floor was filthy. I left the hotel to see if I could get a room in another hotel, then returned and checked out - total time registered was 58 minutes. I will say that the clerk was as accommodating as he could be through the whole process, and my rating of the hotel service is based on Management. On checking out, the clerk gave me a receipt with "No Charge" annotated and initialed in his handwriting. However, for the 58 minutes I was checked in, my credit card was charged for the entire 4 nights, and the hotel will not respond to my concerns about this charge. This hotel is in a good location close to lots of Shopping, Magic Wings Antiques everywhere!!

The Hotel itself was fine for the price. However, trying to get enough towels in the room was like pulling teeth. Also, according to Hotels.com this Hotel was 25 minutes to Mount Snow, when in reality it was more like 55 minutes.

It wasen't the best or the worst. No breakfast, but they did have coffee. It was next to lots of eats and not far from the highway. The rooms were clean, but a little dark. the linens were comfortable. They did call as soon as we arrived to the room to make sure all was OK. Not bad for the money, if you are traveling through.

This hotel was very inexpensive and so I was thinking it would be run down and not very spacious. I was completely wrong. huge LG tv, enormous and comfortable bed, sofa pull out, business desk for laptop use...very, very impressed. I will definitely be staying there again!
