Bij aankomst werden we zeer vriendelijk ontvangen, alles werd uitgelegd, ook de bezienswaardigheden etc. we hadden het appartement op 5e verdieping, alleen te bereiken via (smalle) trap. Eenmaal boven was alles wat je nodig hebt aanwezig, geen bad.. vanaf het (kleine) balkon heb je zicht op de zee, op 100m . Op de zesde verdieping bevind zich het dakterras met 2 wasmachines en drogers en enkele ligbedden. complex ligt in rustige buurt, met bushalte/metrostation op loopafstand,prima om de stad te verkennen!!

Het hotel ligt naast een snelweg en ondanks de dubbele beglazing heb hoor je het wel. In ieder geval aan de snelwegzijde van het hotel kan je niet naar buiten kijken. Gordijnen kunnen niet echt open. Kamer was netjes en schoon. Elke dag werden de handdoeken verschoond en het bed opgemaakt. Receptie was vriendelijk. Ontbijt en diner is dit niet echt een locatie voor. Het hotel heeft een eigen restaurant, maar je kan eten bij het restaurant wat aan het gebouw vast zit. Heb hier geen hoge verwachtingen van het is een soort van truckers-maaltijden restaurant. Voor één nacht is het goed te doen. Ik was met de trein. Het is zo'n 15 min lopen vanaf het station. Goed te doen als je fit bent. De route naar het hotel moet je even leren kennen.

metro station dicht bij, maar met ze 4e een taxi even duur als de metro. de kamer en badkamer waren schoon en strak ingericht. ontbijt was goed. we komen zeker terug.

Ligging.
Grandom Suites ligt in Eixample in Barcelona, dicht bij Fundació Antoni Tàpies, Casa Batlló en Casa Mila. In de buurt liggen ook Plaza Catalonia en Sagrada Família.
Accommodatievoorzieningen.
Naast meertalig personeel en hulp bij excursies/tickets heeft Grandom Suites voorzieningen als een wasserij. Een draadloze internetverbinding is gratis beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, zakelijke diensten en hulp bij excursies regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere koffie in de lobby, een stomerij-/wasserijservice en gebruik van het fitnesscentrum in de buurt (met korting). Gasten kunnen tegen betaling gebruikmaken van een shuttlebus van en naar de cruiseschipterminal, een lokale shuttlebus en een luchthavenshuttle.

Elke kamer heeft een balkon. Bij Grandom Suites zijn kamers met airconditioning voorzien van onder andere een espressomachine en een kluis. Elke kamer is voorzien van een draadloze internetverbinding. Elke televisie heeft kanalen via kabel/satelliet en een internetverbinding via tv (toeslag).
Bij dit appartement met 4 sterren beschikt elke kamer over een keuken met een magnetron, een koelkast en een aparte eetruimte.

De buitenwijk Eixample is tussen 1860 en 1920 opgericht en bevat de mooiste modernistische gebouwen van de stad. De Passeig de Gràcia is de belangrijkste slagader en de brede trottoirs staan vol designerwinkels en chique cafés. Bovendien vind je er twee van Gaudí's sprookjesachtige meesterwerken, het Casa Batlló en La Pedrera, plus vele andere architectonische juweeltjes. De onbetwiste ster van Eixample is La Sagrada Familia, de beroemde, onvoltooide en emblematische kerk van Gaudí.

Hotel is in a great location...15 walk to the sea. Very clean & quiet
Like an apartment: 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room, etc. Even a washing machine! Nice size. Bedrooms are very basic and a little outdated. Easy walk to all the great things that Barcelona has to offer. Outstanding service. Great place!

Great location, comfortable, modern, well equipped and an oasis after a hard day's sightseeing. A much more contemporary solution to a family or group of friends stay in a major city than a hotel.
Quiet and quaint. Right in the middle of the city and located next to dozens of good restarunts. Full kitchens, clothers washer and all appliances. All in all a very wonderfull experience.

in a 3 month journey around Europe this was the best Hotel my girlfriend and I stayed at. kitchen is massive, big fridge and room was neat tidy and decor fine. we enjoyed eating our breakfast on the private terrace and it was walking distance to all sites and 10 minutes walk to metro if going in/out of Barcelona. We couldn't believe the price and although […] it was winter we had fantastic weather. Barcelona is one of the best cities in Europe and i would recommend this hotel to anyone. Only problem is the main part of hotel is 2 blocks form where you stay, we had to wait 5 minutes to get in when we arrived, but we didn't mind because it was 11 p.m. at night and the room and service was more than adequate. thanks for a great stay, we will be back. "I loved staying here."
4 of us stayed in a junior suite for 3 nights, which was nearly ideal. A 5th member of our group stayed the last night, and sleeping arrangements became slightly cramped. Had 2 of the 5 occupants been a couple, this suite would have been absolutely perfect. Our suite consisted of 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a kitchen, a family room (w/ pullout couch), and […] a patio balcony. Our suite was even larger than necessary, probably, but I'm obviously not complaining. I can't really think of a single complaint about the actual room itself, although I have no idea what the rest of the suites/flats were like. The building is centrally located in Barcelona. The neighborhood seemed generally safe, albeit slightly quiet. It's somewhat removed from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas, but it's not that hard to reach them. I have 3 criticisms, and they're relatively minor to me: 1. nearest Metro stations are a few blocks away (5 or so minute walks). 2. no key cards. Had to carry a front door key and a room key. Not terribly inconvenient, but not ideal. 3. small hot water tank. hot water ran out quickly. If you're only in town for a night or two, you may not need this type of accommodation, but for larger parties or families, staying 3+ nights, I highly recommend Grandom Suites. You will not regret it. It felt like a home. In addition, there are grocery stores and markets nearby to buy food you can prepare in your very own kitchen. The staff, when they were present, were extremely friendly and helpful. (They're not there at night or during siesta) Barcelona is an awesome city and our Grandom Suites suite was a fantastic home base from which to explore the town. In addition, the complimentary snack room was awesome: free pastries, orange juice, espresso, cappuccino capsules for your room's coffee maker, and various other snicker-snacks. TAKE ADVANTAGE. "Suites not as expected"
We arrived early and after hitting the buzzer someone came to meet us. Our room wasnt ready (it was 9am) so we dropped of our bags. One of the bedrooms had no a/c just a window into an alley.... and the a/c in the living area wasnt cold enough. If we stayed more than one night, we would have asked to change rooms. The location was GREAT and there […] was plenty to see and do. I was so supprised that the hotel was infact an apartment, beautifully decorated, all the modcons. I would recommend to anyone looking for a place in Barcelona for a city break or even a long stay. These apartments were just a short walk away from the cenre of Barcelona. The staff were extremey helpful - nothing too much trouble. The accommodation itself was very good - nicely decorated, fully fitted kitchen with all the appliances, comfortable beds. If there is anything negative to say it is that there were no English channels on the TV, not […] even news channels, but as we were there for only 2 nights, this wasnt a major problem. The apartments was cleaned while we were there too, even though we were only there for 2 nights. We travelled with two children 6 and 9 and these apartments were suitable for them too. As we drove in to Barcelona on our own, we had some difficulty in finding the hotel using the address that comes with the hotel and googling it. As someone else mentioned, the building does not appear to be a hotel and you do have to ring a bell to "summon" the hotel staff. They are at a sister property and do arrive very quickly to check you in and […] help you. The location was excellent and you could get very quickly either walking/taxi or metro where you needed to go. We were checked in by one gentleman and checked out by another gentleman. Both were extremely nice and offered a great map of Barcelona and "tourist" tips. They were extremely helpful and let us store our luggage after check out time in their office space. "Better than I expected"
We had a very big apartment [their biggest]with 3 brm and two baths, a full kitchen and laundry but no dryer. Modern, clean and tidy. Check-in a little odd as there is no lobby and we had to wait 10 minutes until the manager arrived. Good central location within walking distance from a few Gaudi buildings and La Rambla. Muy bien ubicado, con metro cerca (Passeig de Gracia, conectado directo a estacion Santz del tren), e instalaciones muy completas para un departamento, incluso lavadora de ropa. A media cuadra esta un pequeño bar-restaurante (se llama seven-seven) con exquisitos sandwiches para llevar […] y platos o pizzas para servirse a muy buen precio. Al lado un minimarket para prepararse un delicioso desayuno. El personal a cargo durante el dia muy amable, me reservaron transfer muy serio para el aeropuerto y me ayudaron a contactar a la aerolinea. En resumen, muy recomendable. Lees meer

A notre arrivée la personne qui nous a reçu parlé que catalan mais elle était très aimable. Hotel vraiment bien équipé, ménage fait tous les jours même vaisselle. Hotel situé à 10mn de la plaza catalunya où se trouve les bus touristiques pour visiter la ville. Divers commerces situés en bas de l'hotel. L'hotel se situe juste à côté de l'entrée d'un […] parking. la place de parking est facturée 27 euros la journée. En bas de l'hotel se trouve un square pour les enfants , le matin nous pouvons voir les cacatoès. Nous avions la chambre 2 elle donne sur l'arrière : la vue le parking entouré d'immeuble. "Hyggelig lejlighed med god beliggenhed"
Lejligheden var hyggelig , velindrettet og med god plads. Udsigt til en grøn Plads - dog med gennemkørende trafik. Vi boede på 4. sal og mærkede ikke til trafikstøjen. Service og rengøring i høj standard - meget hjælpsom receptionist. Kommer vi til Barcelona igen, vil vi helt sikkert bo her igen

母娘三人でトリプルルームを利用しました。ホテルというよりアパートメントです。とてもゆったりとした部屋でした。何よりびっくりしたのはキッチンです。ほとんど揃ってます。私は毎朝エスプレッソマシーンで美味しいコーヒーをいただきました。娘たちは、スナックルームにあるオレンジジュースをいただきました。ひとつだけ欲を言わせていただくなら片方のトイレが少しアンモニア臭がしたのでそこを改善していただけたら申し分ありません。満点です。私たちは朝早く遊びに出掛け、夜遅く帰るといった生活のうえチェックアウトが朝早かったので前もってその旨フロントに置手紙をしておきました。鍵は部屋に置いて出ていくようにということで問題はありませんでしたしお願いした早朝のタクシーも手配して下さいました。本当にお世話になりました。ありが […] とうございました。徒歩圏内にカサ・バトリョやカサ・ミラがあります。次回も是非利用させていただきたいと思います。皆さん、おすすめのホテルですよ♪ Lees meer

"APPART - HOTEL GRANDOM SUITE EXEMPLE"
Pas de peronnel en permanence dans le minuscule hall mais quelqu'un s'est rendu disponible en moins de 5 minutes. En fait d'hotel ce sont des appartements (2 chambres pour celui que nous occupions). On y trouve une cuisine aménagée et équipée (sauf lave vaisselle mais avec lave linge), une déco très design et un bon niveau de confort. Un bémol sur la […] clim de la petite chambre qui demande d'ouvrir une fenêtre sur cour avec de désagréables odeurs de cuisine. Dans la salle de bain le plafond était entaché d'humidité. Le balcon donne sur une place intérieure avec parking absoluement horrible quand à la vue mais calme. Voila pour les points à améliorer. Wir waren fünf sehr überraschte Männer, als wir ins Hotel kamen. Absolut genial, mit Küche, Waschmaschine, Herd, Backofen...... Die Reinigungskraft hat sogar unser Geschirr gespült. Ich will auf jeden Fall wieder hin!!!

Parfait, bon suivi de notre dossier et réponse rapide à nos diverses demandes ; notamment un chauffeur à notre arrivée à l'aéroport, moyennant finance. Bon accueil, au service du client. Pour une famille de 5...tous dans un appart de très bonne qualité, décoration moderne soignée et propre...Rien à redire à conseiller vivement

"Gode værelser og god beliggenhed"
Hotellet kan klart anbefales, hvis man ønsker store værelser. Det var nærmest som en lejlighed, med køkken, ovn, kaffemaskine, vaskemaskine, spisebord og god sofa. Fra den lille altan, er der udsigt over en lille plads med palmer og en lille lejeplads. Kort gå afstand til Ramblaen og gode butikker.

Hatten 2 sehr schöne Tage in Barcelona. Hotel liegt relativ zentral. Schön eingerichtet in renoviertem schönen Statdthaus mit Balkons. Einrichtung enthielt Großbild-LCD, Wifi, Klima in allen Zimmern und sogar eine Waschmaschine. Metro-Station ist in der Nähe. Praktisch bei Anfahrt mit dem PKW: Ein Parkhaus (das allerdings nicht zum Hotel gehört und […] extra kostet) hat seine Einfahrt direkt neben dem Hoteleingang. Lees meer

Vi är mycket nöjda med boendet på Grandom Suites. Lite svårt att hitta men väl inne i den mycket enkla receptionen så var boendet mycket rymligt. Kök, 2st sovrum med varsin dubbelsäng och ett allrum med matplats . 2 st toaletter-det ena med dusch. Stor balkong ca 20kvm, sämre utsikt. Bra städning i lägenheten.. 5 min till T-bana, ca 45 min till fots […] till stranden. Lees meer

"Sentralt og trivelig med høy standard"
Jeg kunne anbefalt dette leilighetshotellet til alle og en hver som vil til Barcelona for en helg eller mer. Svært sentralt uten å være slitsomt. Kanskje ikke like praktisk i sommersesongen da stranda kan bli litt langt unna. Det går buss, men den tar lang tid og med metro må man gjøre bytter. Leilighetene i seg selv er utrolig fine men stilig design […] og et rent og ryddig preg. Personellet på hotellet er hjelpsomme og hyggelige. Prismessig får man også det man betaler for; om ikke mer.
