Royal Garden Resort in Murrells Inlet

Clean, comfortable, convenient place to stay. The staff was very hospitable. Will definitely say here again when in this area.

As a late arrival we were greeted at the garage level by a gentleman who gave us a package and key to our room. He secured a cart for us to take our luggage to our room. The next morning we checked in at the office. The accommodations were good and the condo was well equiped with all the essentials.

If you want a beachfront location, this is a great place to have one. All the rooms have a slider leading to a balcony overlooking the ocean. These are condo's, so it feels like home if you want to cook lunch or dinner in, you can. You can also drive to close by restaurants, some are even walking distance along the beach.

Good beach. Close to historic community yet close to new retail. Supplies in the kitchen were very good.

The condo had been renovated and brought up to date but had the usual wear and tear of the tourist season. Overall very comfortable.

Great Location. Ocean Front & 20 feet from Ocean. Other than that its the my worst hotel stay in USA. Absolutely dirty and in patehtic condition. Rooms and bathrooms are extremely small. The front desk doesn know the internet user id and pwd and I couldn't connect to internet. Not at all recommended unless you care less about clealiness.

The hotel was not very clean and you don't get maid service because it is more like a condo. If you want to exchange towels YOU have to go down to the front desk everyday before 2pm. We also had to buy our own trash bags because they did not provide those for us either. However, the location and beach view was amazing. Great for families. Located right on the beach. All units have balcony facing ocean. 3 elevators provide sufficient capacity so waits are ok. Kitchens have all appliances, cooking utensils and tableware. Bed linen and blankets are supplied. Beds and furniture are in very good condition.

This was the dirtiest place I have ever stayed. When we walked on the floor our feet were black. The floors looked like they had never been cleaned. Kitchen was real dirty too!! Nasty place to stay. I was very impressed upon entry of our room. The room was quite large, the kitchen was magnificent, the view- spectacular. The elevators were a bit slow which ended up in us using the stairs more often (which is a good thing) . The indoor & outdoor pools were lovely. the coffee shopr/lounge was not opened. We were not allowed to use the gym. The outdoor pool was cold. The cuisenart was broken. there was not enough storage in the second bedroom

We had to buy a swiffer to clean the place. We had to ask for an exterminator - and to their credit they sent one right away. There was smelly moldy water at the bottom of the dishwasher. The ceiling was crumbling in the very very very small living room. We kept cleaning up the ceiling pieces. There was water in the pan at the bottom of the hot water […] tank, which was rusty and ready to break. On the plus side, the view of the ocean was amazing and heavenly. Once I washed the chairs, I really loved sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean. The location was good, but honestly, it was just too dirty and I would have rather paid more and stayed elsewhere. The jacuzzi indoors was also dirty, with stuff floating in the water, so much stuff that people saw it and did not want to get in. One last thing, if you stay on a higher floor, you will have to walk across an open walkway many floors up, and the walkway is pretty narrow, the railing seems too short, not good for anyone with kids or fear of heights. Royal Garden was right on the beach and all units faced the ocean with outdoor balconies and large glass patio doors for viewing the ocean. We rented a 2-bedroom unit which also had 2 bathrooms. This was very handy for our family of 2 teenage girls and 2 adults. There was a full kitchen and a large room for eating and relaxing.

First night I was cold and told not to adjust the thermostat. 2nd Bathroom much smaller than appeared on plans on internet. Not what I expected and woud probably find a nice hotel for a weekend that has everything included. Not a bad place but little disappointing.

This condo made me claustrophobic. We are all "normal sized" people.You had to leave the front door open and walk behind it before you could close it.You had to squeeze into the hallway bathroom in front of the toilet and close the door before you could get to the sink. Went for four day weekend. Very nice hotel - plenty of parking, hotel lobby staff friendly and helpful. Room very clean with great oceanview which is hard to get at these prices. Bedrooms are not on ocean side, but otherwise very nice with plenty of room. Master bed seemed hard. No hair dryers or irons - so didn't expect that so need to be sure that […] is listed in details. Not the best stay we;ve ever had, but we're a family of 5 wanting clean, oceanfront accomodations at/near Myrtle Beach with kitchenette, 2 BRs, a pull-out sofabed, TVs and wifi. This was just fine. Nice location, convenient to MB and the Pier at Garden City. Overall, we felt that the room/property definitely needs updating and attention, but the room […] was neat (could've been cleaner...) and had the ameneties to meet our needs for a few days. Very convenient location, has free wi-fi, good ramp parking, clean, plenty of beach chairs and a very well furnished room. We will return next year.

Everything was ok,expect that I feel I was overcarged. My father stayed in a two bedroom(1515) and I stay in a one bedroom(1008) and the rates was the same.

What a pleasant surprise! Coming on Memorial Day weekend - for the price we paid - we didn't expect much and were so happy with the accommodations here! The location was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach and the room was outstanding! I would stay again in a heartbeat!
