Ellington Resort at Wachesaw East a Festiva Resort in Murrells Inlet

The whole thing was great. I'd stay again. The only bad thing was internet service was terrible.

My friends and I enjoyed every minute staying there.

What a surprise! Murrell's Inlet is very beautiful and my stay was great. Kudos from my wife (she had reservations as she didnt book) and said it was the best family stay ever. Very family friendly stay, seperate rooms (master and kids), washer/dryer, full kitchen, close to beaches, restaurants, etc. Right off 17, very accessible. Three pools, playground […] and a hottub. Nice place. Would stay again.

Pros- Hotel was very beautiful. Location was just above noise of beach traffic. Staff was very nice. Cons - Hotel, however, failed to provide a shower curtain, had to use towels or be forced to step in a puddle of water. hotel check in was very late. Overall would recommend to others, but would inform about missing features.

I enjoyed my stay here. The beds sleep good. It was a lot of space on the rooms. Very quite.

Beautiful condo, close to everything.

The check in was ok but they had a new person working the desk who was not fully prepared for it and the concierge was polite to me but very rude to another customer who came up to ask a question about the park pass while i was standing there. The room was nice but it was infested with mosquitos. we must have killed 50 of them while we were there for […] two days. they were there from the moment we went in the room so it wasn't a situation where the door was left open by our children. the grounds were very nice especially the award winning golf course our our back door. We had recently stayed in the Ellington Resort in Murrels Inlet, SC. When we first arrived the welcome was ok from the front desk. They had first given us a really dirty two bedroom unit. My crawling daughter was on the floor for only about 5 minutes and her hands and knees were black with filth. I had to let the front desk know immediately about this […] terrible issue and after changing rooms, we were pleased with what they had given us after the first room. They actually gave us a nonrenovated unit prior to giving us a newly renovated unit and there was a huge difference. So beware the photos given on this website are not what you actually are given to stay in and be sure you ask for the newly renovated units then you'll be more pleased. Thank you and enjoy your time. The layout, and convenience to the surrounding area was good. The suite needed maintenance and painting.

The complex was nice seemed to be a place being used by transient workers being put up for months on end. The rooms were nicely decorated but the carpets were so soiled and stained it totally ruined anything they were trying to do. Please Please clean your carpets. This should be a monthly thing as their are dining rooms with kitchens being used.

I got a really good deal on a 2Br2B condo and was pleasantly surprised when I checked in. The condo was very clean as were the grounds and the pool area. Nice and quiet. A great place to relax.

We were very pleased with our stay here. The place was so much nicer than a routine hotel, as we had more of a suite with fully equipped kitchen and separate bedroom. Our granddaughter, who was the incentive of this trip, said we must stay there next year.

This was a good resort to stay at. The room was large and can easily Accommodate long stays, it was also very clean. The staff was very friendly and willing to give advice on places to visit that are not normal tourist traps. It only takes about 10 minutes to gey to Myrtle Beach and is far enough away if you don't want the business of the city. I'm […] looking forward to going back to this resort and taking the family. We really enjpyed the Ellington Resort at Wachesaw East. Every visit , Stand-Up Comedy, Huntington Beach State Park, and Myrtle Beach were just fantastic. Really enjoyed the screened in porch and could see both the sunrise and sunset from our unit. Would visit again!

We've stayed in the Murrell's Inlet area many times but never came across this resort. We were very pleased with the location, the size of our unit (2 BR condo) and the very reasonable price. Will definitely stay again!

enjoyed our stay the walls needed to be cleaned/painted, a snack machine on the property would of been nice too, other than that we would DEFINANTLY stay again loved the screened in porch and the state park pass was an added bonus we did not know we were getting until we got there

Everything was good. Their was only one thing I didn't like their was a door that went to another room it had a big gap under it you could here the people in other room real good, but just put a towel down there and it worked good. Contrary to what hotels.com has listed, this hotel does not provide daily housekeeping. Washer and dryer are provided in room, however I had to fix the duct myself for the dryer as it was obstructed and towels were not drying. Overall ok, but I was expecting daily housekeeping.

STAYED IN A PHASE 2 MODEL VERY NICE ROOM WAS CLEAN PLENTY OF TOWELS . 2 ADULTS 3 CHILDREN . SHOPPING WAS NEAR BYE ALL AROUND VERY NICE PLACE I WOULD GO BACK AGAIN

The resort was great. The only drawback was finding the place. 911 Riverwood Dr will not work in your GPS device. You will get close to the building to check-in if you set your GPS to 1000 Goldflower Ln Murrells Inlet SC

THIS RESORT IS VERY CLEAN AND NICE. THE CONDO IT SELF IS LARGE AND VERY CLEAN. IT IS FAR WAY FROM ANY MAJOR NIGHTLIFE . I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL IF YOU JUST WNT TO RELAX OR BBE WITH FAMILY AND KIDS. HOWEVER IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PARTY TIME IN MYRTLE BEACH THIS IS NOT IT. YOU HAVE TO DRIVE TO GET TO ANY RESTAURANTS AND OR NIGHTCLUBS. OR CATCH […] A CAB WHICH CAN BE COSTLY. AND IT IS REALLY NOT CLSOE TO WHERE YOU WOULD TRADITIONALY THINK OF MYRTLE BEACH. I was VERY nervous about this hotel at first due to some reviews complaining of cleanliness, the location, and other misc things. So my sister, best friend, and I were pretty much prepared for the worst but hoping for the best, I even brought cleaning wipes just in case. Another reason I was nervous was because the price was so reasonable for everything […] it said on the website was included..When we got there I couldn't believe it, it was absolutely WONDERFUL!!! I'm being honest when I say it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were very clean and sure enough the place included all of the things listed on the website and even more!!! The pool and hot tub outside our villa was also very well kept and beautiful!! We thought the location was perfect as well, it was about 15-20 mins away from all of the big hustle and bustle so it was just close enough to get to everything quickly but far enough away to have some piece and quiet to relax while at the resort. Unfortunately during our stay my car also broke down but everyone working on the site who saw were right there to lend a hand. I was able to have my car towed to a reliable nearby shop asap because one of the guys working personally called in a favor. All of the staff were more than courteous and went above and beyond in my opinion, we felt well taken care of and didn't worry although we were stranded because we felt the staff truly cared. Thank you SO much to the staff at Ellington resort, you guys saved our vacation for sure!!! =) And to anyone wanting to bring children along this place is perfect, very family friendly neighborhood and atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay at Ellington Resort while vacationing at the beach. The resort was off the road and very quiet. The accomodations were nice; very roomy and clean. All personnel was polite and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

My family loved the resort. I think it is a great place to stay if you are not looking to stay on the beach. Although, the location isn't far from the beaches. I wished I played golf, the grounds looked to be well kept. We will be back again.

Our stay at this hotel was great. It was clean, and the staff was very friendly. The location is great since you get access to the beach, golf and you get various pass from the resort e.g. to the state park among others. The Golf course is great and well maintained. Codenia Golf Fish club has a great resturant and is 20 mins from the resort

The condominium was a nice off-the-ocean place to stay to save money during the peak summer beach season. The pool set-up was clean and spacious and a pass was provided for access to the Huntington State Park and beach. The condo was clean and the washer/dryer was a nice perk. The web site was to put it mildly,misleading. We spent a lot of money for two nights in a crowded apartment complex, full of screaming children. To call this place a resort is nothing less than a bold-faced lie. Fool me once shame on you; it sure won't happen again!

We had a great 2 bedroom suite (deluxe) with 3 baths, dining area, living room, kitchen complete with necessities, and a screened in patio over-looking a golf course. The king size beds were a little too firm. We would have liked them softer. And, I was real happy I brought my own pillows. I didn't like the ones that were provided at all. Had to strip […] the linens off of the beds before we checked out. And, had to put all soiled towels along with the bed linens on the kitchen floor. Didn't realize that our suite was a time share condo until after we'd checked in. However, if we were in that area again we'd stay there in a heartbeat. The suite was exceptionally nice. And, if we'd gotten 2 hotel rooms somewhere else we wouldn't have had near the great accomodations that we had at the Ellington Resort. The swimming pools were great! Lees meer

Golfer's using a two bedroom condo that was perfectly located and was very spacious for the two of us. The property was in excelent condirion but the unit needed a paint job. I would recommend this hotel.

It was a very clean two bedroom condo with a living room, kitchen, washer, dryer, and screened-in porch...and convenient to the main road. We were not there long enough to use the pool, but it looked nice. A great experience.

My wife and I had a great visit at Ellington Resort. The only improvements that we saw that were the bathroom and bedroom walls (needed cleaning and/or painting)....

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Ellington Resort. Our room was clean and very spacious for a family of five(icluding a 3-month old). Very accessible to Myrtle Beach, but Hunington Beach was only a couple of miles away and we enjoyed that. Definetley a great hotel for families with small children. We were a little skeptical due to the bad ratings, but I really don't know where they came from. Hotel was very clean, up to date, pool was clean, big, golf course was beautiful and well cared for. People were very nice and helpful. Will definately stay again.

Overall the room was excellent. We had five adults stay at the villa and we were all quite comfortable. Did not get to take full advantage of the facilities in the room or at the resort but we would stay there again. The only challenge is finding the hotel.
