Blarney Castle Hotel in Blarney

We had a perfect stay at the hotel. The room was grand and the food in the pub was most incredible....Loved it......

Every one was extremely helpful. My granddaughter wanted to try Blood Pudding so the cook prepared it for her. Great location if you are going to the Blarney Castle. Very quiet and the town is very cute.

The hotel is small but personality. The people there and around the town were great. The Hotel has an amazing breakfast better then the other Hotels I stayed at in my journey in Ireland. Katia was a great person ti deal with. The shops were great especially The Blarney shop. Great gifts and tge best prices. The Blarney Castle was beautiful. The grounds […] were spectacular. Great location -- staff was friendly and welcoming. It was very nice having the pub within the hotel. Food was really good...had the hake with a Bullmer. Only complaint was the room was a bit cold -- not terribly bad. But during the summer that would be welcome. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent location. Also, pub downstairs. Food was great. People extremely friendly. When I complimented on the food and the people running around the answer was " thats the job"

This was a honeymoon vacation, and we stayed just one night. The staff was very friendly, very helpful and made certain my wife and I were comfortable. This hotel is a 30 second walk to the Blarney Castle. I would stay here again.

Excellent! Friendly staff. Evenings in the pub and restaurant were very entertaining.

Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable and over looked the green. Although over a pub/restaurant we had very little noise. The food was excellent, the location was perfect for exploring the Blarney Castle and village of Blarney. Staff were very pleasant and helful. Lovely quaint old hotel, with very comfortable and roomy accommodation. Great to be able to have fresh air. Dining room cute but sparse and the meals could have been better but we would definately recommend this hotel to others.

The Blarney Castle Hotel offers wonderful, spacious, clean, comfortable rooms plus a great bar and choice of restaurants with good food. The service is wonderfully friendly. The only problems we had were related to an early start back to Dublin... The breakfast doesn't start until 8AM, and the front desk was not manned when we went down to check out […] (which they failed to mention). Also, after 10PM, phone calls to the front desk or operator go unanswered. But, keeping this in mind... it is a great choice and a good value. Lees meer

The night we stayed there was a huge party in the pub on the ground floor, music and drink. All the smoking takes place on the sidewalk just outside the door, which was two floors below our room window. Our room filled with cigarette smoke. We closed the windows, but it started to rain shortly after, then the smoke moved to a semi covered area near […] a back door. The smoke came up the main stairwell to the rooms like a chimney. Four of us spent 14 days traveling around the United Kingdom and Ireland. This hotel was by far the most comfortable that we stayed in. The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff most accommodating and there wasn't a request that wasn't handled with swift and competent ease. The rooms were large and comfortable. If you have any concerns about the hotel […] not having an elevator put them aside. The staff had our bags in our rooms before we finished checking in and when we came down to check-out they were there immediately to bring the bags down. Lovely rooms, friendly staff and good location. Restaurant and bar on-site. Most of the locals choose this hotel over the other 4 or so in the small town because of the quality food and personable staff.

The Blarney Castle Hotel is an older hotel decorated with antiques. It's very pretty. From our room, we had an obstructed view (trees in the way) of the castle. The sleeping and bath rooms were clean; however, we were surprised to find that the tea service had not been cleaned after the last use. A used teabag was still in one of the cups. I hope this […] was an isolated incident...we didn't complain about it; though if we did, I think they would done something to compensate, as the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Charming hotel across from Blarney Village square, walk across to Blarney Castle. Our rooms were very comfortable, clean. Courteous staff. Our meals in the pub and dining room were very good with great service. Definitely will be recommending this hotel to our family and friends, and would book a return stay.

If you like good food, friendly service and lively evenings with traditional music this is the place for you. The staff are warm and helpful, the owner himself is friendly and personable, the rooms are comfortable and the bar seems to be pretty much always full, with some sort of diddly dee music playing pretty much every night. The food was exceptionally […] good, given the size of the inn and its price bracket... the breakfast choice is huge - everything from cornflakes and porridge to pancakes to sausages to smoked haddock to fresh fruit - and the quality was top notch. One down side is the noise... every night... till the small hours... followed by noisy drunken good byes outside your window. We were staying with our 3 year old... but to be fair, it didn't bother us much... All in all, top notch - would happily stay again. Lees meer

Great location, friendly staff, and great breakfast. The only draw back is that it can be noisy at night with the pub and people down below the hotel.
