Zoals in de titel vermeld, was de verhouding tussen prijs en kwaliteit wel vergelijkbaar, het ontbijt dat inbegrepen was bestond enkel uit donuts en koffie, thee of fruitsap, ook dit was best te doen maar wel eentonig en staande, geen tafels en of stoelen De reden waarom ik daar was was DISNEYLAND en dan lag dit hotel echt wel in de buurt, dichtbij autostrades die je overal naar toe brengen op de ene al wat meer verkeer dan op de andere Indien nodig zou ik hier terug durven reserveren

Een uitstekend motel op een toplocatie (slechts enkele minuten lopen naar Disneyland of het Anaheim Convention Center) voor een prijs die zeker 2-3x lager is dan van de andere hotels in dezelfde omgeving. Het verwarmde zwembad en de whirlpool waren schoon en ook in het winterseizoen volledig operationeel, de kamer service was uitstekend, er was geen geluidsoverlast en het eenvoudige maar verse ontbijt kon op een fraai dakterras genuttigd worden. Een 2-sterren motel met de kwaliteit van een 3-4 sterren hotel!

Ligging.
Ayres Hotel Laguna Woods bevindt zich in het centrum van Laguna Woods, dicht bij Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, Irvine Spectrum Center en Waterpark Wild Rivers. Bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving zijn onder andere Historische site Arden-Modjeska en Strawberry Farms Golf Club.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Ayres Hotel Laguna Woods heeft een buitenzwembad, een spabad en een fitnesscentrum. In openbare ruimtes is een gratis snelle internetverbinding (draadloos en via kabel) beschikbaar. Dit hotel beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen zoals een businesscentrum met 24/7 toegang, vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en een technische helpdesk. Elke ochtend wordt gratis ontbijt geserveerd, en op bepaalde dagen krijg je gratis een welkomstdrankje van de manager aangeboden. Het personeel kan op verzoek hulp bij excursies/tickets, een huwelijksservice en een cateringdienst voor evenementen regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een conciërgebalie, meertalig personeel en een winkeltje. Gasten kunnen gratis gebruikmaken van een luchthavenshuttle (op beperkt tijden) en een lokale shuttlebus binnen een radius van 5 mi. Zelf parkeren is gratis. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie.

Elke kamer biedt uitzicht op de stad. Ayres Hotel Laguna Woods heeft 139 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van iPod-dockingstations en een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker. Alle bedden hebben een pillowtop-matras met driedubbele lakens, een donsdeken en premium beddengoed. Gasten hebben gratis (draadloos) breedband internet op de kamer. Elke 32-inch flatscreen televisie heeft premiumkanalen via satelliet. Elke kamer beschikt over een bureau, ergonomische stoelen en een luidsprekertelefoon met voicemail. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een bad/douchecombinatie, een föhn en gratis toiletartikelen.
Alle units hebben een kitchenette met een magnetron en een koelkast. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een gratis weekkrant en een strijkplank/strijkijzer. Bovendien kun je op verzoek gebruikmaken van voorzieningen zoals hypoallergeen beddengoed, extra handdoeken/beddengoed en een telefonische wekdienst. Een huishoudservice is dagelijks beschikbaar. Op de kamers van Ayres Hotel Laguna Woods mag niet worden gerookt.

Excellent hotel, cant complain about anything. If its close to where you need, I dont think you can do better for reasonable money.
I always enjoy staying at Ayers. The beds are like sleeping on clouds. The wall between the beds are great. Its locacation is wonderful.

"Nice/New Hotel in Laguna Woods"
I was on business in Aliso Viejo, so I was advised that Laguna Beach would be a tougher drive than Laguna Woods. The Ayres in Laguna Woods was great. It really fit the bill. They also have a pretty nice complimentary "cook to order" breakfast that you don't find at most other hotels. Overall very happy with the stay.

From the beautiful lobby, to the immaculent room to the sparkling HOT spa, and the cooked to order complimentary breakfast, this hotel was great!Walking distance to restaurants and the easy access to the freeway were a bonus!

I was so impressed with the hotels and the friendliness of the workers and their helpfulness. The hotels were very well situated. The rooms were excellent. And the breakifasts were wonderful. No complaints. I would go back any time. I have told my friends how much we enjoyed these hotels. Many thanks!

"Same room a few miles away is double or triple $$$"
We stay here frequently while visiting family nearby and each time say--wow what a value.The rooms are spacious, textiles are fine, duck feather pillows, free breakfast, and hot cookies at the check-in desk. Buy it with hotels.com or get a nice discount from the front desk over the phone. A few miles away on the coast the rooms are much more expensive […] and smaller. The location is perfect for us, but vacationers might want to consider giving up the sound of the waves for a good night's sleep inland. Lees meer

We recently stayed at the hotel as photographers for a wedding taking place close by- The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. "Ayres Hotel Laguna Woods"
This hotel offers a great value for the money. It's close to the beach as well as near the local freeways. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast buttet is a nice addition.
"Noises I could do without"
The first night we heard many children talking, laughing and running. People with children should be placed in rooms on the first floor to keep them off of others heads. The second night we awoke to an elephant moving back and forth above our heads. Other than that the staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was enjoyable.

We particularly appreciated the way the two beds in the room had a semi-privacy wall between them. This was nice, as we were a party of husband and wife in one bed, and daughter in the other bed.
"Great Hotel located in a random Shopping Center"
Beautiful hotel, great accommodations, really friendly staff, less than 10 min from the beach. The only downside is that it's located in a random shopping center. To the left of your amazing hotel is a hometown buffet, sushi place, and jersey mikes. It just seems so out of place for how nice this hotel is.

Great place to stay, staff and accommodations are excellent.
Our children live near by and we find this place to be our second home. We love the beds, very comfy and the breakfast is wonderful. Cookies in the afternoons are always present. For the most part very quiet. Though we did have a loud shower pipe near us this time, as long as the neighbor was not showering it was perfect. "Tranquil Spot Near Leisure World"
while the European style is clearly faux, the Ayres still provides a great experience for the money. The staff were exceedingly helpful, including shuttle trips to and from the John Wayne Airport. The breakfast is very good for a hotel in this price range. My only complaint is that the air conditioning is the kind the switches on and off all night. […] For a light sleeper like me, this was a problem until I pulled out my ear plugs. It's exactly as billed - a small European style hotel. Friendly, convenient, clean and well run.

The hotel was in great shape. My only complaint was the refrigerator in the room kept making a buzzing noise so my hubby unplugged it. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. About 20 minutes from the SNA airport.

Everything was perfect for a great price. The hotel was quite and the linens fresh and clean. I love the duvets and comforters on the bed, no icky blankets! "Conviently located to Laguna Beach"
We are never disappoited in the Ayres Hotels. The Laguna Woods location is an easy 10 minute drive from Laguna Beach. Our stay was enjoyable. the room was clean and comfortable. We wanted to find a reasonably priced hotel close to the Laguna Beach Festival of the Arts/Pageant of the Masters. Everything exceeded our expectations. "Faux European Motel"
We stayed one night and had problems with 6 other guests standing in front of us in line getting checked in. The rooms weren't ready although check in had been@ 3pm. And no one could tell us when we would be able to get to our rooms. Luckyly a Japanese business man threw a fit and so it took less than 20 min to find us a made up room. The room was nice, […] clean and the bed and shower comfortable. The hotel was packed with families and kids were taking up the entire pool and jaquuzzi at night and so we had to make due with the outdoor fireplace. Breakfast was delicious but again there was a massive amount of kids and families. THe location was weired, somewhere in a strip mall and when I inquired about buses going to LAguna Beach I was told every 1/2 hr.Unfortunatly the 1/2 hour turned into an hour and a half but it was Sunday so maybe the desk clerk was confused. Overall the decor of the hotel was an immitation to italian/ floorentine architecture. OF corse everything was faux=fake but if you just ignored that you flet like being somewhere in a private home in Italy. The breakfast buffet was very good Lees meer

We spent two nights here in April ´10 but wished we could have stayed longer. The staff were very pleasant, even advising us on the best places to visit and to dine at - nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully furnished. An excellent and varied buffet breakfast was included. In the evening there was free […] wine and nibbles in the attractive hotel lounge. We had an enjoyable, relaxing break in a very short time. "Great Location"
We always stay here when we visit our parents at Laguna Woods. The hotel is always easy and accommodating. The breakfasts are great and the manager of the kitchen usually circulates during the morning and even pours coffee. Very attentive.
"The best hotel stay I've ever had, period."
The hotel was beautiful, the service was great, the breakfast was substantial and the price was unreal for such a nice room. I would have expected to pay almost double for a room like the one we had.

I booked the hotel for my in-laws and they we're impressed with the room. The only complaint was they could hear everything going on aaround them including vacuuming in the room above.

This was the nicest hotel we've ever stayed in. Our room was right on the main floor. It had a patio that led out to the pool. My husband went to ask if the breakfast was included in the price. He was told "We want you to enjoy yourself" with a smile.
