De locatie van Le Meridien Munich is ideaal om munchen te verkennen. Het ligt aan het centraal station van waaruit constant metro's vertrekken o.a. naar het centrum. Het hotel heeft zijn eigen parkeergarage waar je je wagen kan parkeren aan 20 euro/dag. De hotelkamer waarin ik verbleven heb, had daarentegen enkele gebreken. Zo lag de vloer van de badkamer oneffen en was er een tegel los. Ook was er geen waterkoker of dergelijke beschikbaar in de kamer, wat wel zou mogen voor een kamer met dergelijke prijs. Het gratis gebruik van fitness, zwembad, bubbelbad, sauna en stoombad bood danweer wel de verwachte meerwaarde.

Aan de rustige kant van de spoorlijn, nieuw, modern en prettig. S bahn station vlakbij dus alles om het verbijf in Munchen prettig te maken

Dit is een zeer mooi hotel voor mensen die op doorreis zijn. De kwaliteit is zeer goed. Mooie kamers wij hadden geboekt voor 4 personen en nog steeds volop ruimte in de kamer. Goede bedden.
Ligging.
MEININGER Hotel Muenchen City Centre ligt in Hauptbahnhof in München, dicht bij Augustiner Brau, Marienplatz en Asamkirche. In de buurt liggen ook Alte Pinakothek en Church of Our Lady.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel in München heeft een koffiebar/café en een bar/lounge. Het personeel kan op verzoek hulp bij excursies/tickets en hulp bij excursies regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een gameruimte, meertalig personeel en een wasserij. Tegen betaling zijn er een beperkt aantal parkeerplaatsen. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie.

In de wijk rondom het station, ten westen van de oude stad, liggen veel hotels met voetgangersgebieden vol winkels. Meer naar het noorden ligt de museumwijk van de stad met de Alte en Neue Pinakothek, de Pinakothek der Moderne, de gerestaureerde Glypothek, de Staatliche Antikensammlungen (oudheidkundig museum) en het Lenbachhaus, waarin het werk van de Beierse schilder Franz von Lenbach wordt tentoongesteld.

"Young and vibey"
Great place to stay for the young traveller. Continuous influx of young people make for an interesting stay. Far from the city center, about 40 minutes walking. The check in is a 3 pm, no exceptions, no a minute earlier!!very inconvinient. This "hotel" and hostel, more hostel than hotel is good if you are in your 20's and dont want to spend a lot of money! watch out for your values too!!i would not recomend this hotel!!!

"This is a Hostel"
The only similarities this hostel and a hotel have is that there are beds and showers. It is a communal type accommodation with bunk beds and towel rentals. The cleaning staff will barge in with one knock. They will not wait for you to vacate the room and will clean around your things. Towel rentals are expensive and the breakfast is not worth the price. "Meininger"
Not too far from the main train station and the Hostel has everything for every sort of traveler, be it the family or students looking to party. Across the street is a traditional beer hall and the strassenbahn goes almost directly to the hostel. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a inexpensive place to stay in Munich.
Although the room was basic it was clean & warm +the shower was powerful enough to wake you up after a late night. The staff were polite & helpful & spoke very good english. Located just across the road from a beer hall & about 10mins walk from central stn &15/20 mins from marianplatz. Strongly reccomend.
"Fantastic family accommodation at great prices!"
We stayed at the MEININGER Hotel.Hostel as a family of 3 with our 18 yr old son. Location, atmosphere and rooms were fantastic for a hostel. Although a big hostel, rules were clearly set and abided by, by younger guests. Facilities super with a great internet service. Would thoroughly recommend.

"Expensive for a hostel, but great location for Oktoberfest"
This hotel was in a great location when it comes to Oktoberfest. It was within walking distance to all the action. Plus it was close to the train to get to downtown Munich as well. "Really big room for europe!"
The staff was friendly, but a little ditzy. They actually gave my room to someone else while I was in it..that was fun. Ummm..its great for meeting people! Great for finding tours and such. I totally recommend this for young people though, because at 3 in the morning, hearing loud drunken singing probably won't appeal to an older crowd :) HUGE room […] compared to others in europe for sure. "期待しすぎは注意"
ミュンヘン中央駅よりは、中央駅からSバーンで1駅行ったハッカーブリュケ駅からの方が近いですが、中央駅まで15分～20分ほどなので電車移動の前や後にちょっとした散歩をして…という方にはちょうどいい距離かと。 チェックイン時に困惑するかもしれません。なぜなら、ホテルのすぐ隣(建物としては繋がっている)で、ホテルが一緒に経営しているバー(カフェ)があるからです。ですが、入って見える位置にあるカウンターのスタッフさんに「チェックインお願いします」と言えば、ホテルの客であることはすぐにわかってくれます。 部屋に関しては、日本人から見れば、ちょっと「ちゃんと清掃してくれたのかな？」と思う感じもありましたが(床とかソファとか)、まぁそこは海外ですから、靴を履いたままソファなどで過ごすお客さんの方が多いでし […] ょうし仕方ないとも思います。 棚は設置されていましたが、ハンガーなどをかけられるようなスペースはあまりありませんでした。2つ3つハンガーはありましたが。なのでハンガーを持参しても置き場所に困ります(笑)。 スタッフさんは自分が対応できる言語を名札に記していました。愛想のいい方がほとんどでしたが、ホテルカウンターはホテルと一緒に経営しているバー(カフェ)の接客応対も同時に行っていたので、多忙な様子で、こちらから声をかけようとしないといつまでも待ちぼうけになる場合があります。手が空いたかなと思う瞬間に、まずは挨拶をして対応してくれそうか確認してみましょう。ちなみに、2人スタッフがいてもホテル関係を接客するスタッフは片方に決まっていそうな雰囲気だったので、勇気を出して話しかけても「もう一人の方に」とリアクションされることも多々ありました。 寝泊まりするだけ、で、物怖じせずにスタッフさんに声をかけられる方は特別ストレスなく過ごせるでしょう。ただ、複数で一室に泊まれるホテルの部屋の構造上、若者の笑い声などが聞こえるのは当たり前な感じです。でも、日本の修学旅行生などと一緒だと思えば気になりません。 Lees meer

Отель хороший. Единственный недочет лишь в том, что это хостел, о чем написано при входе в него. Спасает отель персонал. Распологается напротив пивного завода. Вечерами жутковато гулять.

buen hotel y buena relacion valor-precio a 15 minutos del centro de la ciudad. lo malo no hay comercios alrededor, lo bueno es el tamaño de la habitacion
"MEININGER Hotel, semplice e confortevole"
E' un albergo posizionato in zona abbastanza centrale, molto vicino alla zona dell'oktoberfest, ma non vicinissimo al centro storico (a piedi ci vogliono circa 20 minuti, altrimenti c'è la metro). La struttura è molto pulita e organizzata, ed è pensata principalmente per giovani e famiglie in vacanza. Quindi poco lusso e molta concretezza. La stanza […] era spaziosa, la colazione buona e le persone alla reception molto cortesi. L'unico inconveniente è probabilmente il garage interno piccolo, non sono riuscito a trovare posto per la macchina ed ho dovuto lasciarla in strada. In ogni caso il posto è molto tranquillo e non ci sono stati problemi. Un'ultima cosa, proprio di fronte all'albergo c'è la birreria (e la fabbrica) dell'Augustiner, e secondo me una cena lì è obbligatoria... Lees meer

We spent a night in hotel Meininger in Munich and we don't have anything to complain! The staff was friendly and our room was nice and tidy - just perfect for one night! Also the price was ok. Only the location was a little bit more far away from the railway station than we thought but it was our fault that we didn't check it correctly.
