shuttle service was a lie doesnt run every 15 minutes or even every half hour ended up paying for taxi several times and VERY EXPENSIVE 1 guy drives for hotel and you have to wait for him until he gets back and he could be a LONG time. BOO shuttle I was LIED TO about the convenience and is very far from subway

Since it is an airport hotel, the shuttle should start before 7am. Free breakfast is a plus. Clean room.

All in all it was good - nice room, tasty breakfasts with fruit, hot meal,donuts etc., free shuttle to the Subway station and LaGuardia airport. Only once per four days I waited for a shuttle longer than I would like to. Unfortunately WiFi almost did not work in my room but worked perfectly in the lobby. Nice people. Thank you!

Whe we arrived in our room it was very smelly and dirty. Daclled the front desk for assistance and he immediately moved me to a nice and immaculate room. Turned out that they has just shampooed the floor we first went to and that was what the lingering odor was. Overall rating a 4 and service a 5. It was a clean and relax hotel. It has a shuttle service to the subway station and it only takes five minutes. Nice breakfast to start your day. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was nice and clean.

Great idea to stay here. Complimentary shuttle to and from airport to hotel, and to subway station facilitated our trip. We got to Manhattan with the MTA everyday and never had to wait for a shuttle ride to Woodside station. The staff was rude and even though they have a shuttle to the train station it doesn't come when they say it will. We waited more than half an hour for it. And it takes 20 min to get to times square which is quite a long time considering there is nothing going on in the neighbourhood around the hotel. Our room had the view over a graveyard.

Great place well layed out. Coffee is 24hrs waffles in the am are delicious. internet easy acess with printer to get your boarding pass.

When I reported an annoying, unattended barking dog, the desk followed my wishes and relocated me to another quieter floor, well done!

We were quite surprised that even though it is outside the city- we were able to take the comp. shuttle (even on the weekend) to and from the train for our day in the city. Worked out great! The location is soso- but we weren't there for the location. Clean and safe, and everyone was curtious.

This hotel had pretty good price and location near downtown brooklyn and the manhattan bridge. The view from the window wasn't pleasant as it faced the cemetery across the street, but with so much going on on such a short distance it wasn't a problem.the service and cleanliness was good.there was a problem with the thermostat! We returned after a long […] day facing the october snow storm to an Iced cold room, we turned on the heat only to have the room filled with burnt smoke and the fire alarm going off. My wife was so angry,especially because our 2 kids were with us.after letting the room clear out with the door open we called service to have them check the problem only to have them say it's normal and it should clear up after awhile! We were going to leave that very night because of the smell, but the weather made it hard. We slept bundled up with no heat to avoid the smell. This hotel is in Queens and was selected because I was staying, with my children, for a full week. Considering the prices of Manhattan hotels, the Comfort Inn and Suites was a bargain. It is relatively no-frills... but quite adequate as a place to come back and get rest at the end of the day, then to start the next one with a basic continental breakfast. […] The staff was polite and efficient. I would definitely consider this location again if traveling on a budget or with family. Of note - use the menu provided in the room to order delivery from Angelo's! You won't be disappointed. We ordered at least four times from them, and by the third time, when I called and said, "I'd like an order for delivery please", the lady on the other end of the phone responded with, "Is this Greg?" This place was such a pleasant surprise. The area was decent, but close enough to everything. Times Square is about 15 minutes away, just beware that there is a toll to get to and from Times Square/Manhattan (but with the money you're saving by not being in the heart of Manhattan, it's not a big deal). The hotel overall was very nice, and the staff was great. However, we were spending most of our time in the city and we had to take the hotel shuttle to the subway station, (which was great to have available) and than take a minimum of a 30 minute subway trip to get into the city. After spending the day in NYC it was some what of a pain to have to have […] the long trip ahead of us. Since we were staying for such a short trip, in the future I will book closer to the city. But for the price it was very nice. I would stay here again if i was staying for longer. But the commute made our short trip seem even shorter since we spent so much time on the train. Lees meer

Best comfort inn I have stayed in! Plus took me to subway from thre only 30 min to east village in manhattan Recommend without reservation

otherwise people were typical New Yorkers...not overly friendly. Place was marginal...but balance these comments with the fact that I dislike NYC.

This nice, small, new-ish hotel is a great value for Queens. Close to LIE/BQE and therefore to Manhattan, but don't even think of staying here if you don't have a vehicle. Located in an industrial warehouse district opposite a cemetary, there is NOTHING in walking distance and the hotel itself has only a breakfast bar. If you can find your way out of […] this "neighborhood" (right out of the hotel, bear right on 69th street to Grand Avenue) you will find the rest of Maspeth to be chock full of working-class restaurants, pizza parlors, plenty of banks, pharmacies, greengrocers, etc. It is VERY difficult to find in a neighborhood of RR tracks, cemetaries, dead-ends, and highway overpasses. (And I grew up nearby!). Mapquest and Google Maps directions are accurate, but bent and missing street signs make finding it a matter of luck. We got our best directions in the middle of the night from a drunk leaving a bar tucked in amongst the warehouses two miles away. HOWEVER, the hotel is nice, new, clean, QUIET, and the staff are professional. Bottom line: if you're somewhat intrepid and are driving, this is a great and comfortable value for NYC. Lees meer

We signed up for a king size bed and upon arrival were told that there were no king-sized beds available, even though we had paid for one.

This hotel isnt near any subways but they offer a shuttle from 6 am to 1am. Not in a great area across the street from a cemetary but everything else was great. Very clean and updated. Breakfast included hot and cold items.

The girls at the check-in desk were rude and never stood up once. They spent the entire time we were there sitting down behind the check-in counter. There was only one (1) luggage cart and they could have carried less that we have to lug our luggage up to the room. The location is very bad - shoddy neighborhood and graveyard for senery! I was very pleased with my stay. The staff was friendly hotel was nice and helpful.Shuttle service was ok The subway or bus was not far from the city. My family and i enjoyed our stay would definietly come again.

Great complimentary breakfast great place to spend a night for business trip.

Beware of the "ground floor level" rooms, which are actually below ground, but have one tiny high up window which looks out onto street level. Be sure to talk to more than person if you want something; one receptionist/manager said there was absolutely no way we could change rooms; minutes later her colleague produced for us a same size room (on a higher […] floor). No food close by so had to order delivery and it took over an hour. The room smelled like too much air freshened, like they were trying to cover up something. Overall, it was okay for one night but I wouldn't go back. The shuttle from the subway and to the airport was convenient.

A very good deal on a hotel close to the airport and a convenient train ride to Manhattan.

First let me start with the good. Decent lobby and breakfast room and very friendly staff. Shuttle was nice. Now the bad. Came back to the room at 6:00 pm to freshen up for dinner, and the housekeeper was just starting to clean the room and asked us to come back in 15 minutes. This was at 6 at night!! Never had this happen before. Also, we had dinner […] reservations at a nice restaurant in the city. We decided to have the hotel staff call a taxi for us. They told us they do not use taxis, rather a car service that they had a contract with. We thought that was fine. Car arrived in minutes and we agreed on a price of $35.00. We drove into the city and that is when the car was pulled over by the NYPD. The officer explained to the driver that their license plate reader alerted to his car. The driver did not have a license, proper registration or insurance!!! And since he did not speak english, I had to translate what the officer was saying into spanish! Not only were we late for the reservation but the driver requested that we pay him the full fare even though he was not able to take us to the restaraunt! Now I understand that the hotel does not control the companies drivers, however they do control the company they contract with! Though we managed to enjoy are dinner, this could have easily ruined our night. Moral of the story, do not have the hotel call a car for you! Lees meer

The rooms were super small. Had to walk sideways to get in bathroom. Could smell the cigarette smoke on my floor. I would not recommend this hotel,

I recommend this hotel. Is near the subway and they have a shuttle to La Guardia and to the subway and you can be in Manhathan in 20 min.

Comfort Inn is a nice place to stay for a NYC trip. Rooms are nice and clean. Reasonable rates for a NYC-area hotel. Staff was helpful. Always a shuttle bus to take us to the subway (7 train to Times Square). Breakfast was typical continental breakfast, cereal, fruit, donuts, bagels, coffee, juice, with make-your-own waffles added. More hot food would […] be nice. New York Style Eats is a great area restaurant that delivers. Great food, reasonably priced. Neighborhood around the hotel is okay. Keep in mind the shuttle only goes to the airport on the hour. We hadn't noticed that and ended up having to take a taxi to the airport. But otherwise, the hotel was very clean, very nice. Clean, comfortable, affordable. Easily accessable by car. Free parking. Short, easy drive to Manhattan. Public transportation would probably be more of a hassle though the hotel did provide shuttle service to the nearest subway station. No complaints, really.

Have stayed at this hotel 3 times already - always a clean room with an updated bathroom, helpful service, relatively quiet (considering the proximity to the highway), good variety of food for the complimental breakfast; close to the center of the city if there is no trafic - all in all - a very good value.

The Best deal in NYC. New hotel, clean rooms, nice bathroom, free shuttle to and from airport and local subway. breakfast included. Only downside...complimentary view to the cemetery :) A charm...I guess that is why they try harder. Friendly and cozy service.Highly recommended!
